Very well. 1. Dash (either towards opponent with Free Air Dash or just near ground with Omni Air Dash). 2. Just before the dash ends (your speed starts to slow down), perform Hell's Gate. 3. IMMEDIATELY after that, activate the EX-mode. (requires fast fingers) 4. ??? 5. Profit.
i use that flare/ starfall combo just about every time i use the emperor, best combo possible except when dealing with cloud and his "dispel braver". sephiroth's black materia has never helped me at close range, but all of those attacks through the walls aren't very new anymore. still, it's pretty awesome the way you made this 4/5
I can surely say though that Kefka's Blizzaga can't be dashed through, entering EX Mode doesn't reflect anything (like Meltdown) and Squall apparently can't fly anymore. I don't know about Firion's rising brave during EX Burst (never saw it even in original Dissidia after the two cases seen in the vid) and the instant Hell's Gate at 7:50. Everything else is still possible to do; Masamune still gets through floors, and AI can be tricked to do pretty stupid things. Happy exploiting! :)
Very true -.- Also a funny thing: when Sephi makes those 180 degree turns while making the final hit in Octaslash (can be seen also in this vid), he can't reach all characters with it (at least regularly). The only ones who get hit almost every time are Gabranth, Kefka and Tidus. Me thinks it's because of their fast falling speed.

May I ask what your Booster Accessory set is at 6:25? It seems to me that a 38.2 multiplier would be very useful in combination with a Gold Hourglass for Gabranth or a Moonrise for getting those bloody Orbs for everyone's ultimate weapons. 38.2 times 20% equals 734%. Think about it.
the fails and glitches i loved most were those when spehiroth and cecil were fighting and gave your 0 point of bravery to him with the bravery swap and when you beat jecht where the universe just implodes and beat tidus xD
i can see why there was a glitch at 1:20. you confused the AI of the game when you activated your ex burst when the opponent obtained a ex core. the AI was probably confused of what it should do to the opponent's ex force when the opponent was already dead. if he still had hp when you did ex burst, the glitch wouldnt have happened.
Oh well, those were quite interesting ways to use Sephiroth. I lol'd at The Emperor's Flare barrier, I had never seen that one. The AI is sometimes so silly. One time I was just standing in front of Gabranth and the guy just kept blocking over and over like he was dancing. It would have been funny to have Snooze and Loose equipped. One time I lost to some super Jecht combo & EX burst so hard it glitched my hp recover in the Duel Colosseum; it went up to 10 million, back to zero and to normal.
@EnemyToTheWorld There's a slightly faster way: hold down square for Hell's Gate and then press the right trigger. Tip taken from Jecht mainers who need to EX-cancel real fast too.
the cecil and palidin force thing is done on purpose, think of it as an extension of his palidin force if it hits. I use it all the time in my cecil stategy...
While Sephiroth's balancing is awesome, I do believe I have bettered it, mind you this was in Duodecim and the stage was Phantom Train which wasn't avaliable in the original Dissidia. However I've sent it in as a video response and it's still somewhat weird.
@EnemyToTheWorld It COULD be the break right as you start the EX-Burst. If you're on a stage that can infinitely increase Bravery for the Stage, it MIGHT do that. On the other hand, it might do that on ANY stage (I was on Cosmos Stage Omega with Squall, using Revolver Drive. The LAST Brave damage broke him, RIGHT as I did the HP damage. I EX-Burst, and I have 9999 Brave instantly (I had 9999 pre-break, and because of Cosmos Omega's double Brave on Break...), so I can't compare).
@Treystudios1 He activated his ex mode at the start of Hell's gate, forcing it to immediately touchdown. Do that about 2 inch from the ground with a lot of bravery and this is the result.
I question the Sephy Hell's Gate on Terra one. I know how the others happened....except Firion's mess.... And with stuff like this how can anyone take this game seriously?

the most Awesome WTF-Moment i ever had was when i used Cecil against a Cloud CPU my BRV was very low, but high enough to kill him, i use Dark flame as he is above me, and Cloud uses that slash attack where he comes from above and slashes upwards (dont know the correct name), my Dark Flame has hit him, but his BRV attack also did, (at the same time!) i got BREAKED, and just after this, cloud died due to dark flame... WHAT THE???
Of course, no problem at all (sorry for late reply). My mains are Sephiroth, Tidus and Emperor, and as soon as I get the time for Duodecim, I plan to add Yuna and Über Chaos to my roaster. I'm thinking about making three-or-so cinematics about Feral Chaos, so I'll be using him quite a lot to train. Planning to make any cinematics yourself? It's quite easy and fun :p

ninjaydes64 _Dissidia Final Fantasy_ and _Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy_ are basically fanservice fighting games, where the players can pit their favorite characters against each other to see who'd win, or just fight as their favorite character. Sadly, there's very little information on the remake, AKA Dissidia Final Fantasy: Arcade Edition as of yet. (P.S. The first two games were released on PSP, then 012 was ported over to PSN. So unless the remake's going to be on a Nintendo console [I _HIGHLY_ doubt that.] or you have a Sony console, it's unlikely that you'll ever be able to play the game. I've only played once, but hey. It was fun.)

@EzioAuditoreXIII By fooling the AI. With Cecil, you first shoot Searchlight and IMMEDIATELY after use Paladin's Force. If Searchlight hits the opponent as you're using PF, the game thinks that PF has hit the opponent and the rest of the PF commences. With Cloud, you need to get the enemy's projectiles hit themselves (such as Knight's Axe) as you're using Slashing Blow. Once again, the game thinks your Slashing Blow has hit the enemy and you can connect with Omnislash V5. Easy, right? :p

i came across something wierd........ i used fire and the enemy got hit by it but it backfired at me...... after that i got double brvry taken away from me instead of the normal 21..........
