- Stihl MS150 TC E Top Handled Chainsaw would not switch off. The fault turned out to be an electrical problem. This video shows the process of fixing it. How to fix a chainsaw which won't turn off.
Only (best) video I could find that chases down the ground to the engine block on the Stihl 150 TC. Thanks James my favorite saw is back online!
Glad to help! Thanks for the kind words!
couldnt have fixed mine without this video! thanks! I ended up replacing the whole wiring harness, insanely fiddly!!
Nice work mate. You should put ms 150 in the title and people find it easier. I’ve been searching forever for 150 assembly videos and only found this on a google search. Great video 💪🏽
Thanks for the nice words. Much appreciated. Glad you found it useful😊
Ha mate I was searching for ms150 and this came up now. Struggling to put the throttle rod on. Always have this same problem every time I snap a handle 😂😂
One of the trickiest jobs on the planet. I always take a lot of photos and videos. The top handles are always really fiddly.
Brilliant my man this was the some solution for my 150
Glad it was helpful!
in this machine, what are the plastic and which are metal?
Generally white, black and orange are plastic. 👍
@@JamesTheForester so the part used to hold the entire machine is also plastic?
Generally the engine housing is metal and the Plastic parts bolt on to that.
Nice video! I’m just going to leave mine broken maybe the choke isn’t such a bad kill switch lol
I have to be honest, when this first happened I didn't have time to pin down the fault because I was working, that is the same approach I used for a few days. Thanks for the comment!
