Very encouraging to see youngsters being taught and mentored in High School. I was a mechanic and teacher from 1966 until 2017. Where the hell are the safety glasses pal? Hmmm.
That was strange why would you spray and Degreasing agent all over the inside of your housing especially with a lsd diff in my mind not a smart move but probably won't cause any real problems good luck
Nice demo. I have installed one of these on my F350. Only thing I think you should have showed is the attachment of the gasket into the dif cover. It at first seems to be too large and I’ve seen videos where people actually cut them. This is not correct and all that needs to be done is to slowly work it into the groove.
One thing I would have never done. It sprayed break clean in the deferential number one. It can dry out the seals and the definition which is a no no This is one thing A diesel mechanic would never do and the other thing is that it could also mess up the internals
Fluid dripping from bottom, sealing surface not cleaned, brake cleaner all over inside, diff sump not wiped...hmmm ya no way yer students are working on my truck!
I used steel wool to clean around and I also put a little bit of grey silicone around my gasket. I also noticed he didn’t add the limited slip additive
Its a rubber oring similar to that of an oil filter. A small amount of fluid will not hurt anything. If we were using silicone, than yes I would want it bone dry.
Has anyone ever over heated their differential? I understand what this is for and how it works but still don't know anyone who has scorched their rear diff and needs more cooling. Changing the fluid on a reg basis should do the job.
We are currently working on them, development time is not over-night for us like some manufactures. Late summer and early fall we have the Monster Ram Intake, Ram Air Intake, Monster Exhaust, and diff cover dropping.
What an absolutely awesome looking piece of kit. And what a beautiful and scientific design with the larger and higher number of fins!!!

The Amsoil and Valvoline squirt baggies are the cat’s meow when it’s difficult to fill a diff.

And dirt getting into the pinion bearings. I saw a guy that rebuilt a diff because of the noise. That shot of brake cleaner was a really bad move.
Should have lightly sanded the surface before you put the new diff cover on or scraped it with a flat blade .

The diff lube in a packet baggy thing instead of a bottle is cool!

Wish you showed the impossible O ring installation prior to this

@@brendazamudio1979 amsoil has the additive in it already.
Please please make them for the Ram 1500s. We need them bad

Wheres all the mods you all promised since your into on Ram 3500?

Nice vid ;) 👍🏻👍🏻
What’s with the weird guy with a mask on lingering in the background? That’s creepy.
the EPA would like a word with you.... you modify a vehicle.... its now in noncompliance..... here is a $180,000 fine...
Did it affect the emissions at all? No it didn't
