  • Interview with Cheryl Stauffer on behalf of JC Fisher and the Texas Tenors the guys from LS Audio and owner of Retrobuilt Clfford White at SEMA 2017.
    We had a chance to walk around their entire build as this 1967 GT 500 Eleanor inspired look meets the modern platform of a 2011 Mustang GT.
    Chart topping artists The Texas Tenors, known for their Emmy Award winning TV Special and newly released #1 Hit Album ‘RISE,’ often take a modern approach to singing the Classics. Founding group member, JC Fisher has taken the same approach to the automotive industry by rebuilding the king of American muscle cars, the 1967 Shelby Mustang. Fisher transformed his 2011 Mustang into a 1967 Mustang RSC-GT. The finished product will be featured on the world's largest automotive stage in Las Vegas, Nevada at the 2017 SEMA Show this Fall. Retrobuilt, a private company in Nixa, Missouri spear-headed the transformation.
    The idea of taking a new Mustang and ‘retrobuilding’ it to resemble the vintage classic was so impres-sive, even Carroll Shelby took notice (before his passing in 2012). Granting the only license and per-mission to Retrobuilt, this is the first 1967 authorized by Carroll Shelby for production.

    Hey Rich!...I caught up with your Review of the 850HP Retrobuilt 67 RSC-GT Super Cobra Mustang ( retrobuilt.com/1967-rsc-gt-mustang/ ) based on a 2011 S197 Mustang GT Platform, really Nice! BTW!...Thanks for also Interviewing the two Brothers who represented their Company "LS Audio Team" who installed the Audio System in the Retrobuilt 67 RSC-GT Super Cobra Mustang.
    I also caught you asking Cheryl Stauffer at Time Mark 5:37, who represents the Texas Tenors Singing Group, a very importance Question for Me since I live in California..."Is it 50 State (Street) Legal?" and She said "YES IT IS!" and that is Good To Hear! :-)
    I was wondering when Clinton White said that they "Changed Out the Back Glass" did you notice if the New Custom Back Glass still uses the Factory Rear Heating Element?
    Lastly, I was wondering if Clinton told you that they are also Building the Shelby American Licensed 69 Shelby GT500/SC? Thanks and God Bless!

    $60k to turn an '11 GT into '67...
    I'm pretty sure I can just buy a '67 for 60 grand. A Nice one.

    • @MustangConnection1
      @MustangConnection1  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you can, this is for someone wanting a modern car with vintage or in this case Eleanor looks. There is enough room in the car universe for all of these variations and ultimately the marketplace will dictate what survives and what doesn't.

    • @dopelesshopefiend3652
      @dopelesshopefiend3652 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      ShaneO Radiosho No doubt for an ,Eleanor...
      I'd be fine with a coyote powered 67', modern wheels and stereo, AC, clean interior, Im Good.

    • @MustangConnection1
      @MustangConnection1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For some they just want the "retro" styling on a modern platform and this is one way to get there. Of course there is only one way to get a factory silhouette of an early car and that is with a complete vintage body. Anyhow thanks for watching and commenting.

  • @shtdaprdtr
    @shtdaprdtr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    That rear quarter and all the proportions are disgusting!! For that kind of money id rather mod out a 67 with modern running gear

  • @Jinglemyberries

    So I pay the price of a new car to make my old car have an older look. Call me crazy but I rather get a new Audi for that 60k price.
