The second part, about Gunha, was what sounded awkward. When Touma was confronted by Accelerator third time, he said that he wants them to come to an understanding through a fight. Considering that his experience with Gunha has been much more pleasant, it sounded out of place for a joke. Which is why I mentioned Thor, the most similar type of person. Well, nvm~
For Sogiita vs Touma I do believe that Sogiita's ability unconsciously buffs as Sogiita's feats are way strong for a human so there's a possibility that if Touma manage to grab onto Sogiita with his right hand and didn't let go he could nullify the buffs. After that the battle could turn into a fist fight which could end up as a toss up as we really don't know about Sogiita's physical abilities that aren't enhanced. This is all my speculation as Sogiita's ability is unknown and I don't know how it will react to Imagine breaker.
Toumas physical punches could easily knockout or one shot a lot of people or fighters with stronger durability than normal people, so if he just straight up punched a no-amp Sogita he’d probably put him out of commission.
I think Sogiita is similar to Aiwass, Imagine breaker can't null him since he is a naturally occuring esper unlike the phase magicians and experimented espers
in terms of physical ability alone sogita would woop touma's ass. most espers aren't physically fit except for mugino and misaka probably. but sogita is and touma isn't your athletics guy so basically to threaten sogita with a good time
Yeah level 5's are quite powerful. For sure. I'd say the only real thing Touma has the edge on them is experience, but even then, he is only human (at base). I believe Misaki can be defeated quite quickly depending on, like you said, range and distance. Also, you mentioned her destroying his brain cells so that also might work but it really depends. Mugino is also situational and she can fire a lot of lazers and Touma might get fried. Sogita is physically way too much for Touma to handle, so I don't think he will last long in that fight. So yeah this is pretty hard but I do believe his ''Beyond the right hand'' clears all of them there is a reason Aleister is worried about it the most after all. I'll be skipping Kakine,Misaka,Aihanna you summed up most of my points on them in the video, so I will just skip to the meat which is my boy Accelerator. Now logically, Accelerator's wings don't work or rather can be blocked by Touma but if he really wanted to play his cards right like you said, he could rip the ground where he stands and cause him to be crushed. Because of the many applications of Accelerator's base ability, Touma in human form even with IB can only do so much if he's not within the range of Accelerator. It's pretty much over. You also mentioned Aleister's phone, which could also end the fight pretty quickly, but I dunno if Accelerator would be cheap enough to use it. Even with Qliphah and all of her knowledge on the tree of Clonoath, I believe it still won't work with Imagine Breaker as in the equation it's also shown, Tomma can still, for some reason, negate things, even without his arm. Dragons don't have any massive feats over Accelerator up to this point in the novels. However, I do think that his Invisable and Fish Eggs can be a deal breaker. Also, the mind manipulation of the black dragon was it? So yeah at base most of these fights for Touma are situational or one-sided. Though I admit he has greater human feats than most.
I think by the end of NT Touma can now definitely react to supersonic opponents themselves, which is different than negating supersonic attacks via subconscious prediction (precognition). It's just that he don't have the required physical stats to actually dodge or block a rushing Saint, until he get Dragon Shell
in NT event GT, ofcourse touna can fight with oponent with supersonic, because in that volume touma has experience fight again that enemy who has super speed

There a lot of interesting scenarios of Mugino vs Touma in the fanfics. Usually Touma has real trouble with dodging at the distance, but manages to win thanks to dodging in a way that slowly but steadily closes the gap.

Hello Aeon of Horus. I have recently got back into to aru and I have been enjoying your content. I have a question. Where is it mentioned in the to aru media that the dragon heads have individual powers? I am not referring to the wiki by the way. I know long ago I heard the dragon heads have specific powers but I could find what each of them were unless Kamachi did not write them up yet at the time. Also seeing the four-eyed dragon’s power of illusion and dream manipulation gave me the fanfic idea where this dragon tries its best to give Touma a pleasant dream every time he sleeps especially after his phases ptsd and constant misfortune. Also if Touma starts to use these dragons more often or gets to know them, what nicknames do you think he would give them? My personal headcanon is that he calls the lightning dragon biribiri only to catch himself and give it a cooler name. What do you think of these ideas?

For sure Toma. Best way to describe it is, Toma is essentially like a short circuit to ground for all powers. Those with enough power however beyond his immediate ability to ground out, still leave a high discharge flow present. Its through the manipulation of this flow that we get the manifestation of the dragons. Thanks to his progressive increase in ability to manipulate the discharge of enemy power, he no has a means to scale with any enemy, no matter how powerful using in essence, there own power against them as he steadily erodes it at the same time. I think the dragons are more less a mental thing with him and not actually a new power in itself, as he’s still using the same power to cancel other powers, it just happens to take that form due some underlying symbolism within his own mind.
He does totally destroy a android with all of the levels 5 powers that was build to kill the other levels 5’s if they step to far out of line. but it was mostly because it was completely flooded with how to deal with him when it could not copy his powers.
The author won't almost ever let him curb stomp an opponent, especially those estimated out of his strike zone, in his base form. In his own words, "series should end" if that happens. So, the team up with Beetle. (They still had a hard time together)
I wish Kamachi did some sort of an episodic mini series of all the members of the Kamijou faction(even those who aren't a part of faction like Vento and Sherry) interacting with each other and going on about their daily shenanigans

Here’s my take: Sogitta: it goes either way in base. If Touma finds an opening and touches to get close to Sogitta he can do something what he did to Fiamma. By doing a super final punch and win maybe. However if Touma has the dragons Sogitta is so dead. Sogitta maybe fast but can he really react to so many dragons coming at him? Aihana: Aihana got one tapped by Touma so no question Touma wins negative difficulty. Misaki: If Touma gets close enough he easily wins and Touma has more battle experience than Misaki SOOOO… Touma wins either way with low-mid difficulty. Mugino: It goes into Touma’s favor since he always gets close enough to his opponents to win. So either way she loses. Even with experience she doesn’t possess the same strength like him. Dragons or Invisible Thing obviously crushes her. Misaka: Misaka constantly tries to fry him but he alway negates. Touma even kept getting up after she constantly shocked him when he didn’t want to negate. Iron sand doesn’t do anything since he was able to negate it. Even with sand giant he took on Fiamma and a Golem from Sherry. So size doesn’t matter and if he has the dragons, what can she do? Definitely Touma. Kakine: This depends. Kakine can fly and Touma can’t so how can he touch him? If the both of them are on fighting grounds and Kakine leaves himself wide open when using his Dark Matter to attack then Touma can get the opportunity to finish him with one punch. Now if it’s Dark Matter Kakine it’s either a draw or a win for Touma with high difficulty. Touma with the dragons or beyond right hand should win and negate the Dark Matter. Accelerator: WOOOOO BOY. The long debated question who’s stronger? Okay they fought three times and Accelerator lost but with reasons. If Accelerator isn’t stupid and isn’t berserk he does have the chance to react but since Touma has a sense of Accelerator ability he should react to and his experience in fighting should give him a slight edge. Now Plantium wings and Dragons…. Either a draw or it goes to which every the two with high difficulty. If the dragons can negate the wings then Touma wins high difficulty. Also another thing too is that we don’t know much about the dragons. If the Dragons can’t negate the wings then what can Touma do? Again we don’t know much about the dragons. Maybe there’s something beyond the dragons or something the dragons possess is beyond normal easily negation.

@@mattmalone9245 Even with the railgun, it doesn't matter. If she can't electrocute him what can a railgun do if he just negates it? The iron sword has shown to be useless and I as I said. Even with her giant, he's faced Fiamma and the Golem. He beats her.
@Kamijou Medi when Touma fought Misaka. She used her iron sand however it was useless when Touma did one touch on it and it was completely destroyed. Iron sand, iron sword and even the giant is simply going to get destroyed. Railgun won’t do anything since Touma negated Rensa Meltdowner and Railgun. Remember Rensa copies all the Level 5s abilities.
@@ryanrodriguez2498 I was kinda surprised that nobody seems to have brought this up but: Hacking. Misaka can remotely operate any kind of electrical device due to her Electromaster ability. This would normally be completely useless against most high end espers because guns and bullets don't pose a threat to to them, but Touma is a unique case where more mundane forms of attack can actually be more effective. Drones, turrets, robots, guns. Assuming that the battle takes place in Academy City, Misaka could potentially make Touma's life a nightmare while consistently fleeing from him since he lacks any ranged attacks. At that point, it's a battle of attrition and Misaka would eventually win. Additionally, because Misaka wouldn't be fighting him face to face, Touma would have less information for his precog to pick up, and so his reaction speed will be drastically reduced. Honestly, going by just their abilities, Misaka's might be the worst matchup to Touma. Though, I doubt she'd ever fight this way in character.
I mean imagine breaker is the type of power where it can win against any supernatural power, but can also lose to just about anyone too. I mean accelerator can just call upon the great and grand power known as gun to kinda just win, so can literally anyone. Imagine breaker is like a lifeline that stops magic from irreversibly altering reality so its not really a combat tool but rather a lifeline.
on mugino vs kamijou: while mugino would probably lose, I do think that she'd definitely give kamijou a run for his money before that happens, as unlike mikoto mugino is willing to kill. she also has extreme physical strength, her cyborg parts, and iirc i think it was implied in nt12 that she can shoot her 20+ beams in more than one direction, or if not she has that silicon burn attack that scattered her beams from railgun s. on accelerator vs kamijou: I'm a firm believer that a match between the 2 of them as of gt could go either way, and who would win is entirely plot dependent lmao.
If Touma gets close to Mugino he would win. If he has his dragons or beyond right hand he absolutely crushes her and there’s nothing she can do. Plus between them in strength he definitely edges her out.
If we keep Precognition but exclude any sort of special power like Meltdowner or IB, then Mugino has a lot of chances to win cause physically she is likely more stronger than Touma

I can agree that he can beat em all at 1st encounter. Accel with 0 brawling experience, kakine with cockiness, mikoto with bratty attitude, mugino with ot personality (not sure with #7). In addition, he had to use brutal method to corner them before they counter. But that's not battle what I want. Kamachi provide us that toaru is about team effort. That's why I disagree to discuss about versus battle especially for Touma
With only IB I think he can with number 3, 4, 5 and 6 with the 1, 2, and 7 he has only like 60 or 40 chances thanks to precog + IB With “Beyond Right Hand” he completely one shots everyone except Accel Platinum wings (arguable) if accel cant reflect the Eggfish who has a AP MG lvl due to his unknown knowledge about him then with BRH he completely one-shots all lvl5
Also he has already deal with buildings remember Maidono in GT1 so it depends on too many factors if he with IB and Precog can defeat 1, 2 and 7 Also precog had the ability to react some Othinus attacks who are above Saints speed, he dodge explosions (the same form his Ollerus fight) and the arrows and even reacted to Gungnir
If Touma’s dragon can negate the new Platinum wings then he wins. If not then Accelerator wins. Either way it goes either of the two with high difficulty.
frankly in 1st fight against accelerator, Touma hurt quite a lot when accel throw all the stuff to him to hit him physically. Touma win just because Accel go on a fist fight instead. I guess even Mikoto can simulate such kind of attack to some extent.
Really, I love the videos that you put out about the toaru Universe. It really helps me understand the more convoluted and symbolic portions of the series while getting the point across. When it comes to base touma vs. Accelerator, I definitely think that if accelerator was serious, he would win. Like you said, in the first fight, accelerator was arrogant and had no idea how much a threat touma was, in the second, he was in the middle of an emotional meltdown, and in the third, he deliberately lost the match for touma's sake. If accelerator were to go in ready and with the intent to win against touma, he'd definitely be able to take down touma by either striking him with attacks he can't respond to, or simply bury him in a ton of normal debris, taking advantage of the flaw that imagine breaker can't do anything about completely normal physics and matter. He could also use that magic remote of his to rain academy city weapons on him till he died. Dragon touma is inconclusive as we don't know much about them or how they've changed since. (Though if even one of them has vector control, or imagine breaker esc abilities, then accelerator is screwed.)
Yes it's as Medi said. First fight Touma was nerfed and weakened by Misaka's lightening. Second fight Accelerator was pretty smart and calculating. Third fight Touma surpassed Accelerator's battle IQ.
It would depend on which version of Touma it is. If OT Touma he would have more losses, NT might have more likely wins than OT, with GT he might have a 75 to 80% chance of winning against them compared to OT & NT.
Yeah even in base, NT/GT Touma should be stronger than OT because he has a higher tolerance to pain and is a very experienced fighter due to the time he spent vs Othinus

Aeon i got a few questions hopefully you can answer quickly, 1) is kamachi doing a biblical type story where accelerator is becoming more of a good person while touma is slowly becoming a worse person like Lucifer? 2) will touma remember misaki? 3) do you think aoigami is the level 5?
1. I wouldn't say Touma is a worse person now, I'd say he's more grounded and a bit more selfish than previously, and yet more open to work with others. 2. Maybe although we got something similar to that in NT22R already 3. He likely is but I feel it would be too obvious of a plot twist as everyone expects it in the fandom
Yeah I don’t know, Touma seems like he wins all together. If Touma just wanted to eliminate people he would win. Like, going full throttle from the get go as his present self. Also I don’t think that those dragons are truly corporeal so a lot of things wouldn’t effect them, at least in the traditional sense. Then let’s not forget that all of the abilities of the dragons in tandem would severely nerf opponents while being constantly advanced upon by insane dragons and magic nullification to boot.
I don't quite agree with the Sogita match; I do agree he'd probably beat Touma, but the 'chucking rubble' strategy, or rather, just... dodging projectiles in general, tends to be where Touma's precog shines. I would be surprised if Touma couldn't close the gap, especially given Sogita's personality, but I do think Sogita would absolutely just blitz the fuck out of him in close combat.
I’m not sure if I’m right but I was researching and found out that since death is like a fortune his right hand can negate that fortune which could probably bring him back to life

Isn't ITEM a part of the Kamijou faction in one way or the other but not it's active member? Like they helped many members of the Kamijou Faction like Accelerator, Last Order
But flinging bits of building at Touma lacks guts. Also Accelerator did that and it didn't work well, because Touma is oddly good at dodging things. Similarly, Meltdowner stands little chance for those reasons As for Saints, those are weird because that strength is innate, apparently.
One thing to note is the fact that Touma's a far more tactical fighter than he comes across sometimes, essentially if it's a raw power match up he's only winning like 50% of those fights, but he's far better at out thinking his opponents than the 'dense anime man' persona he has at times lets on. It's because of this that I feel these types of comparisons are fun, but might not reflect how a fight between them may have gone Idk that's just my 2 cents
It's been hinted many times in the novel, especially his fight against Accelerator in WW III and against Tsuchimikado, that he has some sort of Mind's Eye in terms of battle. Kanzaki also mentioned that Touma, while not trained in martial arts, has the reflexes of a master. He always back a step whenever he blocks in order to lessen the force he receives and he also has high level battle instinct.
If Touma is seen as the embodiment of evil like in NT9 then I don’t think Touma has a chance beating them. Of course if Touma ends up throwing his morals away he can, imagine Touma using IB, IT, the Dragons, and Dragon Shell that would be dope.
It has been shown in NT10 that Touma doesn't necessarily need to be a power-house to win. This is why it's kind of a fallacy to use him in "beating contests".
For sogita if touma grabs a hold he can nullify his power but after that they’ll have to bawl it out and seeing sogita he looks physically stronger than touma but knowing touma knocking out magicians wit a stronger athletic build maybe he’ll deal some damage and win?
I feel like the touma vs kakine can actually go either way i think it really just depends on the situation I feel like and for base touma and accelerator i do think accelerator does have more of advantage but plat wings vs beyond the right hand touma it a toss up
Curious, if Accelerator threw a building at Touma, would he be able to do anything? Like would Touma’s powers be able to stop the building? He was also saying a normal human wouldn’t be able to hurt him. You have to be an esper of some level, even level 0, in order to hurt Touma which was his explanation as to how Hamazuma was able to hurt him.
Base form: A large building without windows, thrown fast in a complicated trajectory, with the attacker body language not seen by Touma can hit him. The probability increases on increasing the number of buildings. Powered form: Dragon shell go brrrrrrrr
assuming kamijou didnt know a building was coming at him and assuming he wasn't able to move out of the way fast enough, he'd die. once something leaves accelerator's direct influence (aka his touch) his ability is no different from natural physical phenomenon so ib couldn't do anything about it.
SPOILERS! One thing I didn't see anyone mention for the VS Misaki fight, is that if she did like what she did in NT (trick Touma into thinking he has an arm), it'd seal the dragons etc right? So it'd just reset the fight back to Misaki VS Base Touma (without a right hand)

@Copy Wheel Eye He didn't bust out hundreds of black wings and tsunamis to crush Kakine. While doing every calculation to counter Touma's right hand. He's the first one out of so many intelligent opponents who actually figured out Touma's precognition. This is near peak Accelerator performance at that stage. Yes, the despair is there, but he didn't let it cloud his mind. Also Kakine is a backup plan to Accelerator whereas Touma is 90+% of Aleister's plan. So, opponent difference! People also forget how Accelerator would be badly screwed if he crossed paths with Fiamma back then...
But when accelerator fight a level 5 he lost his mind and became op, and in the 1st fight against touma, accelerator was calmed on that fight but he lost againts touma
I never read the manga but I've heard Touma has more than invisible thing, dragons, IB, and precog for powers as those are just the beginning of his powers.

With Mikoto I think that AAA form has 0 chance of loosing against Touma base but cant take on Dragons but AAA wasnt mentioned in the vid so oh well... As for Plat wing Accelerator vs Touma, I feel like while some abilities that Dragons have dont seem to have vectors it shouldnt really matter here. I mean for the terror inducing Dragon Accelerator has Qlipoth Puzzle, a demon literally created for making psycological attacks on opponents, and he has her full knowledge and can use magic, so I am sure he can use her to negate other psycological attacks somehow. + considering the speed at wich even White wing Accel moved in NT10, I am not sure Touma with powers beyond the right hand wouldnt get blitzed by an even stronger version of Accel. But yeah I feel like the video is spot on on who wins really good vid
AAA still uses magic, so I'm not quite sure how it would interact with IB. Main reason why I didn't mention it cos I wanted to do base Touma vs base Misaka to make it fair, and then do the strongest forms of each vs each other. Considering Anna Sprengal casually destroyed her AAA with a tree branch, I think the dragons won't have a problem vs the AAA.
for Acce, The biggest problem with Acce and Qliphah is that Qli himself doesn't understand what Touma and what's inside him, and if he doesn't, how can acce analyze how to react based on his ability?

@@SirKotok The problem is that Darkmatter is a material thing, Which Human Science can still analyze and understand, but the thing in Touma's Hand has reached such a level that even those who possess enough knowledge to make Science exist. The age of AC (not counting Aleister because his knowledge comes from Magic) can also go insane, or severely damage the brain, or those who attain that knowledge, are no longer "human" then, the problem lies there, the important thing is that if too much knowledge is poured into, even Acc's brain will be damaged (Qliphah also noted, Will as another temporary measure), and just like I mean, Acce's only limit, is that he still has the "limit of humanity" and not the "hard to die" characteristics like Aleister or powerful beings like Aiwass and Ma god has transcended cause and effect "doesn't care about life or death" !!!
Alright I have not seen the video but my uneducated guess would be: 1st Against Accelerator no chance. Touma can cancel out abilities but not the things they cause e.g. a giant tower yeeted at him which is something accelerator is capable of. 2nd Dark Matter guy. Im not sure ? While he would be able to just throw a building at Touma all of his wacky physics altering powers woud be canceled out so im giving this a "Im not smart enough" 3rd Misaka again no chance. Okay, I finally got the chance to watch this (thanks, unpaid sick days), so let's go: #7 - IB seems to completely deactivate esper powers in contact with the esper in question, so I highly doubt Gunha's buffs will survive a punch (plus, unnatural enough biological changes have a precedence, although admittedly a weak one, from DRRR crossover, to lose to the reference point). Also, throwing things? Really? Maidono tried it and Touma danced through the barrage. Not to mention, Kamachi describes everybody and their mother as supersonic. And Touma's insane reactions seem to be tied moreso to anything supernatural rather than specific properties of AIM fields - and get way more ridiculous than Misaka's lightnings if take flowery description of Holy Right seriously. #6 - yeah, he got one-shotted by Touma who was too injured to see properly, so no chance in hell. #5 - agreed. #4 - haha, no. Leivinia tried the exact same thing with way more powerful attacks and still got decked. Plus, depending on the moment in the timeline, Zuri may lose to talk-no-jutsu in itself and blow herself up before Touma even gets a chance to punch her. #3 - Mikoto only won in NT10 due to editor's meddling, and even then, it was a very rare moment when her thelema was better than Touma's. #2 - Teitoku has a bad habit of playing with his prey. This gives Touma a chance to manipulate him into getting in range... But, Kakine honestly seems to be pretty decent in pure hand-to-hand anyway. Also, I have a feeling dragons wouldn't even necessarily need to eat him after he becomes Volleyball-kun - purification power from the Emperor might suffice by itself... Though, I sincerely doubt his range would be enough, as Kakine keeps portions of the DM network on the freaking Antarctica. #1 - well, actually, Accelerator won against Touma (and Moto) in his Index PSP route... but then again, this thing has Mugino beating Acqua and Kazakiri. Also, again, speed of supernatural thing is not beating precog, but I agree Accel has no reason to get close. Also, also, going by the precendence with 545's dress, I have some doubts about Blind Dragon's power working in this matchup.
I think by the end of NT Touma can now definitely react to supersonic opponents themselves, which is different than blocking supersonic attacks via subconscious prediction (precognition). It's just that he don't have the required physical stats to actually dodge or block a rushing Saint, until he get Dragon Shell
What happens if he was wounded in his body other than his arm? Would dragons be unsealed when Touma dies or something or will the invisible thing do something?
Everyone ends up talking about the dragons of Touma or the invisible thing, when in truth the power of Touma lies in the dragon form, which with that power would be more than enough to garcharse at levels 5 in less than a minute.
Yeah. I agree with nearly all of what youre saying. - Touma would probably beat Sogiita tho mid-difficulty. The reason why Saints stomps Touma is cuz his Precognition aint working with opponents like them. Touma's Precognition work by analyzing every single change on the opponent and the surrounding, be it facial features, AIM fields, or Mana. Saints are trained to control their entire body cuz they need it to move at supersonic speed, so no facial feature change. Not to mention that Saints don't emmit any mana or whatever unless they use spells. This doesnt apply to Sogiita since he use AIM or his powers to enchance his stats, unlike Saints. Simply put, it doesn't matter how fast he is when Touma's Precognition can still predict his movements and attacks, and it doesn't matter how durable or whatever healing factor he has, when a single touch of Imagine Breaker can make 'em all go poof! - Base Touma vs Base Accelerator (This is their Genesis Testament version btw). Base form Touma can negate Multiversal attack and dodged infinite arrows pouring down on him like raindrops (thats like MFTL+), while Base Accel cap at Planet Level and max speed at like, what? Lightspeed in reaction and supersonic in movement? Yeah. You guys do the math on that one. Their strongest form is another disscussion tho. I think [Platinum Wing] Accelerator is stronger than [Invisible Thing] Kamijou. First point is that Accelerator can actually control all of his Wings, while Touma can barely control.... Uhh... Whatever the hell in his arm is. (Hell, he loses control of them more time then he actually use it). Second point is that The Invisible Thing varies in power. Their strength is fluctuating. At one point they can generate enough power equal to a Magic God, at one point it was so weak it got Stomp by Othinus. Even if Touma did somehow release the Invisible Thing, there's no guarantee he would got the stronger version like the one that came out against Kamisato or Coronzon. At their best, the two of them seem to be equal in power. They both manage to pretty much One-shot Coronzon in their own way. They way I see it, Kamachi pretty much trying to make Touma and Accelerator always one-up each other. Everytime one of them got a power up, the other one is not far behind on also getting stronger. They're basically Naruto-Sasuke of this series.
@Kamijou Medi What i'm saying is that Invisible Thing doesnt really have an exact power, like it always varies whenever it shown. Guys like Aleister, Aiwass, Othinus pretty much stated how the Invisible Thing is never as strong as it was the last time it appeared. Whether is stronger or weaker than last time. The one that stomps Coronzon > The one that overpowered World Rejecter > The one that Aiwass crushed > the one that appeared in WW3 > the one that Othinus smashed. Its power level is always different each time, so I don't think its fair to assume that Touma can use the strongest versions all time. And yeah, I hear theories that whatever that came out always gets stronger each time Touma's Arm gets cut off (1 dragon head > 8 dragon heads > An invisible entity > .....) Tho, I wouldn't really count that yet until its been proven. Plus if it did get stronger each time, then why did the one Othinus fought is weaker than the one in WW3?

You aren't wrong. For Mugino, the main argument is multiple beams being used from different directions against Touma. The secondary argument used is Mugino's cyborg arm which base Touma cannot deal against bare-handed.
For Touma vs misaki it will be hard for touma if misaki control multiple people with armed weapon to attack him, he would lose to misaki without the dragon, but with dragon i dont know. Yeah tbf I agree, I kinda downplayed Mugino's CQC capabilities. She's no pushover and her durability is really impressive considering she carried on fighting when having a screwdriver forced in her eye and survived multiple gunshots. Still I think Touma should be the superior fighter up close.

Hospital Pajama's Touma merks every single one of them, at the same time. But let's be honest, we already know Touma kicks all of their asses through previous fights with level fives and feats. Even Gunha, despite how fucking awesome he is, has passively been buffed by his abilities since birth, he's never had to take any hits without them, ever. Touma would down him in one blow, because without his powers, he's just a normal, fit guy. Misaki isn't worth mentioning, Mugino is a lesser Misaka really, and even angel boy's typical patterns aren't much different from Accelerator and Touma would down him just the same. Sure, Gunha vastly outclasses him physically, but so has a ton of people he's fought and beat before, and as mentioned, once Touma lands a blow, he'll take it like a normal guy and go down flat. Really, the only one Touma would most likely lose against is A.A.A Misaka, she's his worst opponent to face. Give him access to even one of his dragons though, and this turns into a murder stomp in his favour. Granted, I'm not getting into Platinum Wings Accelerator, we simply don't know enough about that to know how it stacks up realistically.
I still wonder how Imagine Breaker protected Touma's whole body when Othinus erased the universe while a lot of magic attack hits him even though a lot of times just grazes
7- No, I disagree with the video on this one. Sogita’s superhuman durability comes from his powers and Touma hitting him would hurt him like a teen vs teen match up would go. Chucking buildings is out of character and tbh using the environment to put range on Touma has barely ever worked. The speed is Precog vs Aim which would allow Touma to keep up. It’s a close up fight it depends on who’s stronger and a better fighter so it just depends on that. Though Sogita at his full potential>Touma 6-Touma negs. 5-Touma negs on paper but they’re are ways Touma could lose with Misaki Bloodlusted and Touma not bloodlusted. 4-Touma might lose not due to ability but due to Mugino knowing how to actually fight like we forget she’s from the dark side and is basically a trained fighter. If Touma fought WWIII and Battle Royal Mugino he’d beat her due to her head not being screwed on well but remember she also has enhanced strength with one of her arms so I have no doubt that Touma could defeat the ability Meltdowner but the person is iffy though one good punch should knock her out just depends on Mugino. I don’t think she’s smart enough to realize Touma’s power is just his right hand and will figure it out a bit late. 3-Misaka vs Touma….Touma wins but I just want to say if Misaka was smarter at using her iron sand or better at fighting with it she could beat him. I just say this because I don’t think she’s cursed to lose to him due to ability. Also are we gonna talk about AAA? 2-Yes Kakine has wings but what can he do to attack Touma? If he uses the sunlight trick can Touma negate it? I didn’t think of it being this hard for Touma but it’s also not one sided imo. The higher forms of Touma>Kakine (Network imo). 1-Agreed with though Touma will always win if written in the story due it being the nature of the two’s relationship even when Accel was in a better mental state than Touma he still lost (Ik why but that just goes to show in story Touma will win).
Ok, a few things I disagree with, though the biggest point I wanna make is with Misaki: Misaki has a very good chance against the dragons, cause we found out in NT22, that IT works entirely out of Toumas perception of the outside world. So her brainwashing him will actively influence whatever dragonstrike is doing. Touma can only block her power with IB, but there wont be any dragons if IB is still around. Then like Misaki said, against just IB Touma she could work around. He doesnt know her so he doesnt know to hold his head to counter MO and Misaki now knows she just needs to immediately order him to not touch his head once she grabbed control, which would prevent a situation like their lake run in, during NT11. Lastly speed: Misaki is fast. She sucks at almost everything physicall, other then ballroom dancing and more importantly remote drawing. She´s basically compared to a gun slinger of old, add on that that her remotes are light due to the lack of batteries in them and even without she can still use her power if she isnt concerned with hurting her enemy and can just go.... oh and she doesnt even need to aim it at the target, just can AOW, like we saw multiple times before. So yeah, she´s a pretty solid counter for the IB user, for someone entirely working with aim/ magic/ supernatural.
Those were the fish eggs, not the dragons. And at least 2 of the dragons have mental abilities too, so it might not work at all. Misaki knows ways around his arm, but she also points that Touma simply moving his arm the wrong way(not even touching his head) could negate her power. This happens with other Telepaths when they tried to warn him about sherry.

For Sogiita vs Touma I do believe that Sogiita's ability unconsciously buffs as Sogiita's feats are way strong for a human so there's a possibility that if Touma manage to grab onto Sogiita with his right hand and didn't let go he could nullify the buffs. After that the battle could turn into a fist fight which could end up as a toss up as we really don't know about Sogiita's physical abilities that aren't enhanced. This is all my speculation as Sogiita's ability is unknown and I don't know how it will react to Imagine breaker.

Toumas physical punches could easily knockout or one shot a lot of people or fighters with stronger durability than normal people, so if he just straight up punched a no-amp Sogita he’d probably put him out of commission.

I think Sogiita is similar to Aiwass, Imagine breaker can't null him since he is a naturally occuring esper unlike the phase magicians and experimented espers
in terms of physical ability alone sogita would woop touma's ass. most espers aren't physically fit except for mugino and misaka probably. but sogita is and touma isn't your athletics guy so basically to threaten sogita with a good time
Yeah level 5's are quite powerful. For sure. I'd say the only real thing Touma has the edge on them is experience, but even then, he is only human (at base). I believe Misaki can be defeated quite quickly depending on, like you said, range and distance. Also, you mentioned her destroying his brain cells so that also might work but it really depends. Mugino is also situational and she can fire a lot of lazers and Touma might get fried. Sogita is physically way too much for Touma to handle, so I don't think he will last long in that fight. So yeah this is pretty hard but I do believe his ''Beyond the right hand'' clears all of them there is a reason Aleister is worried about it the most after all. I'll be skipping Kakine,Misaka,Aihanna you summed up most of my points on them in the video, so I will just skip to the meat which is my boy Accelerator. Now logically, Accelerator's wings don't work or rather can be blocked by Touma but if he really wanted to play his cards right like you said, he could rip the ground where he stands and cause him to be crushed. Because of the many applications of Accelerator's base ability, Touma in human form even with IB can only do so much if he's not within the range of Accelerator. It's pretty much over. You also mentioned Aleister's phone, which could also end the fight pretty quickly, but I dunno if Accelerator would be cheap enough to use it. Even with Qliphah and all of her knowledge on the tree of Clonoath, I believe it still won't work with Imagine Breaker as in the equation it's also shown, Tomma can still, for some reason, negate things, even without his arm. Dragons don't have any massive feats over Accelerator up to this point in the novels. However, I do think that his Invisable and Fish Eggs can be a deal breaker. Also, the mind manipulation of the black dragon was it? So yeah at base most of these fights for Touma are situational or one-sided. Though I admit he has greater human feats than most.

There a lot of interesting scenarios of Mugino vs Touma in the fanfics. Usually Touma has real trouble with dodging at the distance, but manages to win thanks to dodging in a way that slowly but steadily closes the gap.

Hello Aeon of Horus. I have recently got back into to aru and I have been enjoying your content. I have a question. Where is it mentioned in the to aru media that the dragon heads have individual powers? I am not referring to the wiki by the way. I know long ago I heard the dragon heads have specific powers but I could find what each of them were unless Kamachi did not write them up yet at the time.
Also seeing the four-eyed dragon’s power of illusion and dream manipulation gave me the fanfic idea where this dragon tries its best to give Touma a pleasant dream every time he sleeps especially after his phases ptsd and constant misfortune. Also if Touma starts to use these dragons more often or gets to know them, what nicknames do you think he would give them? My personal headcanon is that he calls the lightning dragon biribiri only to catch himself and give it a cooler name. What do you think of these ideas?

For sure Toma. Best way to describe it is, Toma is essentially like a short circuit to ground for all powers. Those with enough power however beyond his immediate ability to ground out, still leave a high discharge flow present. Its through the manipulation of this flow that we get the manifestation of the dragons.
Thanks to his progressive increase in ability to manipulate the discharge of enemy power, he no has a means to scale with any enemy, no matter how powerful using in essence, there own power against them as he steadily erodes it at the same time.
I think the dragons are more less a mental thing with him and not actually a new power in itself, as he’s still using the same power to cancel other powers, it just happens to take that form due some underlying symbolism within his own mind.

Here’s my take:
Sogitta: it goes either way in base. If Touma finds an opening and touches to get close to Sogitta he can do something what he did to Fiamma. By doing a super final punch and win maybe. However if Touma has the dragons Sogitta is so dead. Sogitta maybe fast but can he really react to so many dragons coming at him?
Aihana: Aihana got one tapped by Touma so no question Touma wins negative difficulty.
Misaki: If Touma gets close enough he easily wins and Touma has more battle experience than Misaki SOOOO… Touma wins either way with low-mid difficulty.
Mugino: It goes into Touma’s favor since he always gets close enough to his opponents to win. So either way she loses. Even with experience she doesn’t possess the same strength like him. Dragons or Invisible Thing obviously crushes her.
Misaka: Misaka constantly tries to fry him but he alway negates. Touma even kept getting up after she constantly shocked him when he didn’t want to negate. Iron sand doesn’t do anything since he was able to negate it. Even with sand giant he took on Fiamma and a Golem from Sherry. So size doesn’t matter and if he has the dragons, what can she do? Definitely Touma.
Kakine: This depends. Kakine can fly and Touma can’t so how can he touch him? If the both of them are on fighting grounds and Kakine leaves himself wide open when using his Dark Matter to attack then Touma can get the opportunity to finish him with one punch. Now if it’s Dark Matter Kakine it’s either a draw or a win for Touma with high difficulty. Touma with the dragons or beyond right hand should win and negate the Dark Matter.
Accelerator: WOOOOO BOY. The long debated question who’s stronger? Okay they fought three times and Accelerator lost but with reasons. If Accelerator isn’t stupid and isn’t berserk he does have the chance to react but since Touma has a sense of Accelerator ability he should react to and his experience in fighting should give him a slight edge. Now Plantium wings and Dragons…. Either a draw or it goes to which every the two with high difficulty. If the dragons can negate the wings then Touma wins high difficulty. Also another thing too is that we don’t know much about the dragons. If the Dragons can’t negate the wings then what can Touma do? Again we don’t know much about the dragons. Maybe there’s something beyond the dragons or something the dragons possess is beyond normal easily negation.

@Kamijou Medi when Touma fought Misaka. She used her iron sand however it was useless when Touma did one touch on it and it was completely destroyed. Iron sand, iron sword and even the giant is simply going to get destroyed.
Railgun won’t do anything since Touma negated Rensa Meltdowner and Railgun. Remember Rensa copies all the Level 5s abilities.

Misaka can remotely operate any kind of electrical device due to her Electromaster ability. This would normally be completely useless against most high end espers because guns and bullets don't pose a threat to to them, but Touma is a unique case where more mundane forms of attack can actually be more effective. Drones, turrets, robots, guns.
Assuming that the battle takes place in Academy City, Misaka could potentially make Touma's life a nightmare while consistently fleeing from him since he lacks any ranged attacks. At that point, it's a battle of attrition and Misaka would eventually win. Additionally, because Misaka wouldn't be fighting him face to face, Touma would have less information for his precog to pick up, and so his reaction speed will be drastically reduced.
Honestly, going by just their abilities, Misaka's might be the worst matchup to Touma. Though, I doubt she'd ever fight this way in character.

I mean imagine breaker is the type of power where it can win against any supernatural power, but can also lose to just about anyone too. I mean accelerator can just call upon the great and grand power known as gun to kinda just win, so can literally anyone. Imagine breaker is like a lifeline that stops magic from irreversibly altering reality so its not really a combat tool but rather a lifeline.
on mugino vs kamijou:
while mugino would probably lose, I do think that she'd definitely give kamijou a run for his money before that happens, as unlike mikoto mugino is willing to kill. she also has extreme physical strength, her cyborg parts, and iirc i think it was implied in nt12 that she can shoot her 20+ beams in more than one direction, or if not she has that silicon burn attack that scattered her beams from railgun s.
on accelerator vs kamijou:
I'm a firm believer that a match between the 2 of them as of gt could go either way, and who would win is entirely plot dependent lmao.
If Touma gets close to Mugino he would win. If he has his dragons or beyond right hand he absolutely crushes her and there’s nothing she can do. Plus between them in strength he definitely edges her out.
If we keep Precognition but exclude any sort of special power like Meltdowner or IB, then Mugino has a lot of chances to win cause physically she is likely more stronger than Touma

I can agree that he can beat em all at 1st encounter. Accel with 0 brawling experience, kakine with cockiness, mikoto with bratty attitude, mugino with ot personality (not sure with #7). In addition, he had to use brutal method to corner them before they counter.
But that's not battle what I want. Kamachi provide us that toaru is about team effort. That's why I disagree to discuss about versus battle especially for Touma
With only IB I think he can with number 3, 4, 5 and 6 with the 1, 2, and 7 he has only like 60 or 40 chances thanks to precog + IB
With “Beyond Right Hand” he completely one shots everyone except Accel Platinum wings (arguable) if accel cant reflect the Eggfish who has a AP MG lvl due to his unknown knowledge about him then with BRH he completely one-shots all lvl5
Also he has already deal with buildings remember Maidono in GT1 so it depends on too many factors if he with IB and Precog can defeat 1, 2 and 7
Also precog had the ability to react some Othinus attacks who are above Saints speed, he dodge explosions (the same form his Ollerus fight) and the arrows and even reacted to Gungnir

frankly in 1st fight against accelerator, Touma hurt quite a lot when accel throw all the stuff to him to hit him physically. Touma win just because Accel go on a fist fight instead. I guess even Mikoto can simulate such kind of attack to some extent.

Really, I love the videos that you put out about the toaru Universe. It really helps me understand the more convoluted and symbolic portions of the series while getting the point across. When it comes to base touma vs. Accelerator, I definitely think that if accelerator was serious, he would win. Like you said, in the first fight, accelerator was arrogant and had no idea how much a threat touma was, in the second, he was in the middle of an emotional meltdown, and in the third, he deliberately lost the match for touma's sake. If accelerator were to go in ready and with the intent to win against touma, he'd definitely be able to take down touma by either striking him with attacks he can't respond to, or simply bury him in a ton of normal debris, taking advantage of the flaw that imagine breaker can't do anything about completely normal physics and matter. He could also use that magic remote of his to rain academy city weapons on him till he died. Dragon touma is inconclusive as we don't know much about them or how they've changed since. (Though if even one of them has vector control, or imagine breaker esc abilities, then accelerator is screwed.)

I don't quite agree with the Sogita match; I do agree he'd probably beat Touma, but the 'chucking rubble' strategy, or rather, just... dodging projectiles in general, tends to be where Touma's precog shines. I would be surprised if Touma couldn't close the gap, especially given Sogita's personality, but I do think Sogita would absolutely just blitz the fuck out of him in close combat.

But flinging bits of building at Touma lacks guts. Also Accelerator did that and it didn't work well, because Touma is oddly good at dodging things. Similarly, Meltdowner stands little chance for those reasons
As for Saints, those are weird because that strength is innate, apparently.
One thing to note is the fact that Touma's a far more tactical fighter than he comes across sometimes, essentially if it's a raw power match up he's only winning like 50% of those fights, but he's far better at out thinking his opponents than the 'dense anime man' persona he has at times lets on. It's because of this that I feel these types of comparisons are fun, but might not reflect how a fight between them may have gone

His IQ is inconsistent but his Battle IQ is extremely high.
It's been hinted many times in the novel, especially his fight against Accelerator in WW III and against Tsuchimikado, that he has some sort of Mind's Eye in terms of battle. Kanzaki also mentioned that Touma, while not trained in martial arts, has the reflexes of a master. He always back a step whenever he blocks in order to lessen the force he receives and he also has high level battle instinct.
If Touma is seen as the embodiment of evil like in NT9 then I don’t think Touma has a chance beating them. Of course if Touma ends up throwing his morals away he can, imagine Touma using IB, IT, the Dragons, and Dragon Shell that would be dope.
It has been shown in NT10 that Touma doesn't necessarily need to be a power-house to win. This is why it's kind of a fallacy to use him in "beating contests".
For sogita if touma grabs a hold he can nullify his power but after that they’ll have to bawl it out and seeing sogita he looks physically stronger than touma but knowing touma knocking out magicians wit a stronger athletic build maybe he’ll deal some damage and win?

He was also saying a normal human wouldn’t be able to hurt him. You have to be an esper of some level, even level 0, in order to hurt Touma which was his explanation as to how Hamazuma was able to hurt him.
Base form: A large building without windows, thrown fast in a complicated trajectory, with the attacker body language not seen by Touma can hit him. The probability increases on increasing the number of buildings.

assuming kamijou didnt know a building was coming at him and assuming he wasn't able to move out of the way fast enough, he'd die. once something leaves accelerator's direct influence (aka his touch) his ability is no different from natural physical phenomenon so ib couldn't do anything about it.

One thing I didn't see anyone mention for the VS Misaki fight, is that if she did like what she did in NT (trick Touma into thinking he has an arm), it'd seal the dragons etc right? So it'd just reset the fight back to Misaki VS Base Touma (without a right hand)

@Copy Wheel Eye He didn't bust out hundreds of black wings and tsunamis to crush Kakine. While doing every calculation to counter Touma's right hand. He's the first one out of so many intelligent opponents who actually figured out Touma's precognition.
This is near peak Accelerator performance at that stage. Yes, the despair is there, but he didn't let it cloud his mind.
Also Kakine is a backup plan to Accelerator whereas Touma is 90+% of Aleister's plan. So, opponent difference!
People also forget how Accelerator would be badly screwed if he crossed paths with Fiamma back then...

I never read the manga but I've heard Touma has more than invisible thing, dragons, IB, and precog for powers as those are just the beginning of his powers.

Sooo for the most part I completely agree with everything. With Mikoto I think that AAA form has 0 chance of loosing against Touma base but cant take on Dragons but AAA wasnt mentioned in the vid so oh well...
As for Plat wing Accelerator vs Touma, I feel like while some abilities that Dragons have dont seem to have vectors it shouldnt really matter here. I mean for the terror inducing Dragon Accelerator has Qlipoth Puzzle, a demon literally created for making psycological attacks on opponents, and he has her full knowledge and can use magic, so I am sure he can use her to negate other psycological attacks somehow.
+ considering the speed at wich even White wing Accel moved in NT10, I am not sure Touma with powers beyond the right hand wouldnt get blitzed by an even stronger version of Accel.
But yeah I feel like the video is spot on on who wins really good vid
AAA still uses magic, so I'm not quite sure how it would interact with IB. Main reason why I didn't mention it cos I wanted to do base Touma vs base Misaka to make it fair, and then do the strongest forms of each vs each other. Considering Anna Sprengal casually destroyed her AAA with a tree branch, I think the dragons won't have a problem vs the AAA.
for Acce, The biggest problem with Acce and Qliphah is that Qli himself doesn't understand what Touma and what's inside him, and if he doesn't, how can acce analyze how to react based on his ability?

@@SirKotok The problem is that Darkmatter is a material thing, Which Human Science can still analyze and understand, but the thing in Touma's Hand has reached such a level that even those who possess enough knowledge to make Science exist. The age of AC (not counting Aleister because his knowledge comes from Magic) can also go insane, or severely damage the brain, or those who attain that knowledge, are no longer "human" then, the problem lies there, the important thing is that if too much knowledge is poured into, even Acc's brain will be damaged (Qliphah also noted, Will as another temporary measure), and just like I mean, Acce's only limit, is that he still has the "limit of humanity" and not the "hard to die" characteristics like Aleister or powerful beings like Aiwass and Ma god has transcended cause and effect "doesn't care about life or death" !!!

Alright I have not seen the video but my uneducated guess would be:
1st Against Accelerator no chance. Touma can cancel out abilities but not the things they cause e.g. a giant tower yeeted at him which is something accelerator is capable of.
2nd Dark Matter guy. Im not sure ? While he would be able to just throw a building at Touma all of his wacky physics altering powers woud be canceled out so im giving this a "Im not smart enough"
3rd Misaka again no chance. A coin going Mach 3 would just cut him in half or she could do that thing like in season one where she uses the heat produced by the lightning to fry him.
4th Mugino. Actually would go to Touma since all of her theoretical attacks are Ability based
5th Misaki. Honestly I have no clue how this would go
6th No conclusion due to lack of Information

Okay, I finally got the chance to watch this (thanks, unpaid sick days), so let's go:
#7 - IB seems to completely deactivate esper powers in contact with the esper in question, so I highly doubt Gunha's buffs will survive a punch (plus, unnatural enough biological changes have a precedence, although admittedly a weak one, from DRRR crossover, to lose to the reference point). Also, throwing things? Really? Maidono tried it and Touma danced through the barrage. Not to mention, Kamachi describes everybody and their mother as supersonic. And Touma's insane reactions seem to be tied moreso to anything supernatural rather than specific properties of AIM fields - and get way more ridiculous than Misaka's lightnings if take flowery description of Holy Right seriously.
#6 - yeah, he got one-shotted by Touma who was too injured to see properly, so no chance in hell.

#3 - Mikoto only won in NT10 due to editor's meddling, and even then, it was a very rare moment when her thelema was better than Touma's.
#2 - Teitoku has a bad habit of playing with his prey. This gives Touma a chance to manipulate him into getting in range... But, Kakine honestly seems to be pretty decent in pure hand-to-hand anyway. Also, I have a feeling dragons wouldn't even necessarily need to eat him after he becomes Volleyball-kun - purification power from the Emperor might suffice by itself... Though, I sincerely doubt his range would be enough, as Kakine keeps portions of the DM network on the freaking Antarctica.
#1 - well, actually, Accelerator won against Touma (and Moto) in his Index PSP route... but then again, this thing has Mugino beating Acqua and Kazakiri. Also, again, speed of supernatural thing is not beating precog, but I agree Accel has no reason to get close. Also, also, going by the precendence with 545's dress, I have some doubts about Blind Dragon's power working in this matchup.
I think by the end of NT Touma can now definitely react to supersonic opponents themselves, which is different than blocking supersonic attacks via subconscious prediction (precognition). It's just that he don't have the required physical stats to actually dodge or block a rushing Saint, until he get Dragon Shell

Everyone ends up talking about the dragons of Touma or the invisible thing, when in truth the power of Touma lies in the dragon form, which with that power would be more than enough to garcharse at levels 5 in less than a minute.

- Touma would probably beat Sogiita tho mid-difficulty. The reason why Saints stomps Touma is cuz his Precognition aint working with opponents like them. Touma's Precognition work by analyzing every single change on the opponent and the surrounding, be it facial features, AIM fields, or Mana. Saints are trained to control their entire body cuz they need it to move at supersonic speed, so no facial feature change. Not to mention that Saints don't emmit any mana or whatever unless they use spells. This doesnt apply to Sogiita since he use AIM or his powers to enchance his stats, unlike Saints.
Simply put, it doesn't matter how fast he is when Touma's Precognition can still predict his movements and attacks, and it doesn't matter how durable or whatever healing factor he has, when a single touch of Imagine Breaker can make 'em all go poof!
- Base Touma vs Base Accelerator (This is their Genesis Testament version btw). Base form Touma can negate Multiversal attack and dodged infinite arrows pouring down on him like raindrops (thats like MFTL+), while Base Accel cap at Planet Level and max speed at like, what? Lightspeed in reaction and supersonic in movement? Yeah. You guys do the math on that one.
Their strongest form is another disscussion tho. I think [Platinum Wing] Accelerator is stronger than [Invisible Thing] Kamijou.
First point is that Accelerator can actually control all of his Wings, while Touma can barely control.... Uhh... Whatever the hell in his arm is. (Hell, he loses control of them more time then he actually use it).
Second point is that The Invisible Thing varies in power. Their strength is fluctuating. At one point they can generate enough power equal to a Magic God, at one point it was so weak it got Stomp by Othinus. Even if Touma did somehow release the Invisible Thing, there's no guarantee he would got the stronger version like the one that came out against Kamisato or Coronzon.
At their best, the two of them seem to be equal in power. They both manage to pretty much One-shot Coronzon in their own way. They way I see it, Kamachi pretty much trying to make Touma and Accelerator always one-up each other. Everytime one of them got a power up, the other one is not far behind on also getting stronger. They're basically Naruto-Sasuke of this series.

Guys like Aleister, Aiwass, Othinus pretty much stated how the Invisible Thing is never as strong as it was the last time it appeared. Whether is stronger or weaker than last time.
The one that stomps Coronzon > The one that overpowered World Rejecter > The one that Aiwass crushed > the one that appeared in WW3 > the one that Othinus smashed.
Its power level is always different each time, so I don't think its fair to assume that Touma can use the strongest versions all time.
And yeah, I hear theories that whatever that came out always gets stronger each time Touma's Arm gets cut off

Pre cyborg Mugino vs Touma: Could go either way, both of them extremely resilient and both of them are physically really strong as well, so in either Mugino wins via brute force or stalemate or Touma wins with much difficulty
Cyborg Mugino vs Touma, Mugino has more chances of winning here as she is physically more powerful than Touma here, seeing how her arm crushed thousands of spears, made out of a material which can't be scratched by modern-day battleships which were being hurled by twenty St Germains, fast enough to create after images and her own reaction speed with her eye isn't something to be laughed at, in this case she would probably bludgeon Touma to death, even with Precognition, Touma isn't technically beating her in terms of brute strength
That arm and eye of hers are powered by meltdowner tho, Touma just touching those could turn them off temporarily giving him some openings plus u know that batshit crazy girls are Touma's specialty 😂he just loves to insult them to make them not focus on the battle. You aren't wrong. For Mugino, the main argument is multiple beams being used from different directions against Touma. The secondary argument used is Mugino's cyborg arm which base Touma cannot deal against bare-handed.

Yeah tbf I agree, I kinda downplayed Mugino's CQC capabilities. She's no pushover and her durability is really impressive considering she carried on fighting when having a screwdriver forced in her eye and survived multiple gunshots. Still I think Touma should be the superior fighter up close.

Not dramatically large gap, but one big enough to notice. Like, In NT 10 alone, he got his hand smashed, arm dislocated multiple times, stabbed with a tree branch, burned by railgun pieces, and shocked with millions of volts and punches from Misaka and thats only the halfway point of the day.

Hospital Pajama's Touma merks every single one of them, at the same time.
But let's be honest, we already know Touma kicks all of their asses through previous fights with level fives and feats. Even Gunha, despite how fucking awesome he is, has passively been buffed by his abilities since birth, he's never had to take any hits without them, ever. Touma would down him in one blow, because without his powers, he's just a normal, fit guy. Misaki isn't worth mentioning, Mugino is a lesser Misaka really, and even angel boy's typical patterns aren't much different from Accelerator and Touma would down him just the same. Sure, Gunha vastly outclasses him physically, but so has a ton of people he's fought and beat before, and as mentioned, once Touma lands a blow, he'll take it like a normal guy and go down flat. Really, the only one Touma would most likely lose against is A.A.A Misaka, she's his worst opponent to face.
Give him access to even one of his dragons though, and this turns into a murder stomp in his favour.
Granted, I'm not getting into Platinum Wings Accelerator, we simply don't know enough about that to know how it stacks up realistically.
I still wonder how Imagine Breaker protected Touma's whole body when Othinus erased the universe while a lot of magic attack hits him even though a lot of times just grazes
Because erasing him means trying to erase IB which won't work. Other attacks actively go around it so IB doesn't interact with it.

7- No, I disagree with the video on this one. Sogita’s superhuman durability comes from his powers and Touma hitting him would hurt him like a teen vs teen match up would go. Chucking buildings is out of character and tbh using the environment to put range on Touma has barely ever worked. The speed is Precog vs Aim which would allow Touma to keep up. It’s a close up fight it depends on who’s stronger and a better fighter so it just depends on that. Though Sogita at his full potential>Touma

4-Touma might lose not due to ability but due to Mugino knowing how to actually fight like we forget she’s from the dark side and is basically a trained fighter. If Touma fought WWIII and Battle Royal Mugino he’d beat her due to her head not being screwed on well but remember she also has enhanced strength with one of her arms so I have no doubt that Touma could defeat the ability Meltdowner but the person is iffy though one good punch should knock her out just depends on Mugino. I don’t think she’s smart enough to realize Touma’s power is just his right hand and will figure it out a bit late.
3-Misaka vs Touma….Touma wins but I just want to say if Misaka was smarter at using her iron sand or better at fighting with it she could beat him. I just say this because I don’t think she’s cursed to lose to him due to ability. Also are we gonna talk about AAA?
2-Yes Kakine has wings but what can he do to attack Touma? If he uses the sunlight trick can Touma negate it? I didn’t think of it being this hard for Touma but it’s also not one sided imo. The higher forms of Touma>Kakine (Network imo).
1-Agreed with though Touma will always win if written in the story due it being the nature of the two’s relationship even when Accel was in a better mental state than Touma he still lost (Ik why but that just goes to show in story Touma will win).
Ok, a few things I disagree with, though the biggest point I wanna make is with Misaki:
Misaki has a very good chance against the dragons, cause we found out in NT22, that IT works entirely out of Toumas perception of the outside world. So her brainwashing him will actively influence whatever dragonstrike is doing. Touma can only block her power with IB, but there wont be any dragons if IB is still around.
Then like Misaki said, against just IB Touma she could work around. He doesnt know her so he doesnt know to hold his head to counter MO and Misaki now knows she just needs to immediately order him to not touch his head once she grabbed control, which would prevent a situation like their lake run in, during NT11.
Lastly speed: Misaki is fast. She sucks at almost everything physicall, other then ballroom dancing and more importantly remote drawing. She´s basically compared to a gun slinger of old, add on that that her remotes are light due to the lack of batteries in them and even without she can still use her power if she isnt concerned with hurting her enemy and can just go.... oh and she doesnt even need to aim it at the target, just can AOW, like we saw multiple times before.
So yeah, she´s a pretty solid counter for the IB user, for someone entirely working with aim/ magic/ supernatural.
Those were the fish eggs, not the dragons. And at least 2 of the dragons have mental abilities too, so it might not work at all.
Misaki knows ways around his arm, but she also points that Touma simply moving his arm the wrong way(not even touching his head) could negate her power. This happens with other Telepaths when they tried to warn him about sherry.
