@@EleanorGraceDiaries ok dear that's nice, I look forward to it x
I am so sorry for missing your amazing videos for the last five weeks as I have been helping my mom with her cancer treatment but I’m so sad to say that she has lost her battle ❤❤❤love your Aussie family friend John ❤❤❤
If only friends and family on Christmas Day about 25/12/2024 for 2 months away
Nice bitweed could be medical
Eleanor,,just found your site today,so glad I did,,im a guy from Edinburgh and if you can make it up to Inverness te drive across to Ullapool on the right day is truly magnificent,,I salute you for swimming in the Loch in October,,done gorge jumping in July with wetsuit on and it was fkn Freezing 🥶,,stay safe and enjoy our country ❤️🏴👍
I think us Scots don't appreciate what we have until we see videos like this. Thanks for reminding me. What a beautiful country I am from
Born and bred Scot here - I love my country, I'd die for my country - but I wouldn't swim in it unless it was a pool !.. I salute this young lady - not only would that water be freezing but the current looked very strong !
Swam in the river Don and Dee many times it's okay in summer but definitely definitely not in winter absolutely no way and that goes for the sea as well.
3:07 Your coffee tastes better IN THAT CUP 🤣🙌🏼
ginger hair- got the right hair theme colour for Scotland. 😃
Watch yourself pal that water can be fast.👍🏴🚙⛺️
Now that you've fallen in love with my homeland we need to get you listening to Runrig. Driving through that landscape in Autumn with the song Hearts of Olden Glory playing gets you right in the feels when the line "The colours of Scotland leave you young inside" come on.
Welcome to Scotland! From a 70+ year old grandad. I'm glad you appreciate the beauty of our wonderful country. Personally, I'm not a fan of Fort William but the west coast and far north west in particular is stunning ............... even in poor weather its great. Enjoy
As a Scot I agree. The location of Fort William is magnificent. The town itself is very disappointing.
Brilliant. . Scotland is a beautiful country. . With some of the oldest mountains on the Earth . . 👍👍
Great video. . Love your soft West Country accent. . 😁😁
Oo arr oo arr lol
As we say in Scotland, yer some Wumin. Hope you’re loving your visit here.
It was a pleasure to have you in our glorious country Eleanor, haste ye back. ♥️
Lake and fog? c'mon Eleanor up here it's mist and loch 😂
Glad you're enjoying Scoland! I've been 18 times and it never gets old, still so much to explore too! enjoy :)
Scotland is actually very old
Loving your passion for Scotland, I know exactly how you feel and I have lived here for 40 years. It looks even better when you are in or on a mountain summit.
Thank you Martin it really did make me very happy and inspired being there 😊 So amazing that you live there and get to experience it all the time 😍
hi grace that place looks lovely, your brave to dip in the cold water , stay safe gracey lovely , x
Thanks Tony 😊💕
@@EleanorGraceDiaries your very welcome gracey x
Your timing was spot on. Our Highlands in the autumnal months can virtually take your breath away. So lovely to see your love for it all!
The great outdoors nothing beats it 😊
Couldn’t agree more 😊💕
Wow, you're a braver woman than I, braving the rather chilly water there! I live a mere half-hour down the road from that forest; it's a great place!
I live and work in the central belt of Scotland. It's always a treat to go to the highlands especially when the weather is great. I've seen it all before but I do stop multiple times every trip. The first part is mayhem (M8 Glasgow) but then leave it all behind. Love the A82. I only found recently it's one of Britain's unsafe roads! Was also on the A9 only a few years ago. Loved that drive. The dualling on it should have been done 20/30 years ago
Really enjoyed your video Eleanor-thankyou.
You’ve pointed out to me some nice places when I go to Scotland next Summer.
I stayed at Glen Nevis Caravan Park in Fort William and have done that a few times and it’s a great place for a Campervan or tent or rent a Caravan.
Looking forward to more of your vids.
Thankyou
Take care
Mark 🏴🤙
Hi Ellie, great video with beautiful scenery. Take care and safe travels.
Thank you Trev hope you had a lovely day 😊❤️
Just found your channel this morning and immediately hooked by your enthusiasm for Bonnie Scotland . Will be looking out for the next episode and I hope you kept coming North past Inverness .
Nice to see you enjoying Scotland. You’re only touching the surface so far! The outer Hebrides and North West coast of Scotland is where you’ll be totally blown away. Even some of the inner Hebrides islands, Mull etc. You’ll not be disappointed, if the weather plays ball. All the best L&D.
Ellie, It's truly beautiful. I have to keep reminding myself to breathe ☺
So nice how much you appreciate my beautiful country ❤
It really is a beautiful country ❤️
I love Loch Lubnaig!!! I used to fish there with friends as a teenager and although its small its one of the most beautful lochs, a bit of an unknown gem as most people head up to Loch Tay, Lomond, Ness etc but miss the smaller ones.
Love cobleland campsite. Lovely walks and great facilities. Lovely staff. That river is prone to flooding.
Gosh !! you are a plucky girl !!!! - loving you appreciation of our wee country !!X
I love the piano music towards the end of the video!
It's good to see you happy with life and with what you are doing! Ellie fix done ❤
Thank you so much I’m really happy at the moment hope you are too 😊❤️
I'm happy for now 😅 thank you
Highland of Scotland because viaduct made from Harry Potter films
Oooohh you've got guts I can feel that cold 🥶 water 🥶 lol from me in Birmingham xx 😘
Great video Ellie. You must have been freezing going in that river.🥶🥶🥶 x
Would have got you to try it too if you were there! 😂😆❤️
Fort William is a nice town. Came from the US and hiked the GGW to Inverness about two years ago. The scenery and trail is beautiful. The local people we met along the trail were very friendly and helpful. We hated to Leave Scotland it’s a beautiful country.
Our country is beautiful but it'll take forever to see it all, thank you for some fantastic views
Just as beautiful as u are🏴🏴
Coblelands is not too far from us and we have been for a few nights camping after picking the boys up from school on a nice weekend. Where you swam is usually a pretty decent beach....that was very full and fast flowing! Loch Lubnaig is a pretty regular swim for me too! I totally appreciate it, having moved up from England!
Next time you’re up in Scotland u should do Callander it’s Stunning # hope you enjoyed 🏴
@@scottishalwaysdixie1638 She will have drove through Callander to get to Loch Lubnaig which is about 4 miles North West of Callander.
I could nt agree more though as Callander is a stunning wee town.
You are a really lovely person. An absolute gem.
All the best from Edinburgh.
That’s so kind thank you so much 😊❤️
Onward and upward. Good luck with everything that comes your way. I know you’re going to slay it. 🍀
That’s so sweet thank you as always 😊❤️
Great video. Glad you didn’t jump into that current. 😂👍👍
Make sure you have plenty of fuel if you go further north. On our bikes we really have to plan it but even in a car if you are used to England you could get caught out. Scotland is amazing, it keeps surprising you and gets even better.
Love your videos Scotland looks amazing
Five minutes walk off the hill foots main road, a five minutes drive from the A9 and a short drive up the west coast puts you in a land you never have seen. This is Scotland. Try it and see. I have many times and I am still awe struck with it's beauty.
Wow, adorable.
I've been to Cobeland many times, I almost went there last week, but went to Perthshire instead. Never been tempted to swim in the Forth though, I did see a beaver just upstream when I was there this spring. If you want to swim in the area, I'd go to Loch Drunkie (yes that is it's name) the road by it is also a good wild camping place. In Autumn the colours are incredible
I am so happy that you managed to get in the loch and have a very cold paddle. Can't wait to see your video for the Highlands leg of your trip. Hope you have managed to get some sleep especially how bad the weather has been. ❤
Hey Darren thank you 😊 it felt great to be in water that cold although that current was a bit dodgy 😂 back home now after a week up there and only had really terrible weather when around Ben Nevis so I just missed it everywhere else I think. Can’t wait to show you the highlands bits! ❤️
@@EleanorGraceDiaries so happy that you are back home and safe now especially with how the weather has changed. Hope you are resting up this week. Defo can't wait to see the rest of your trip. ❤️
Nice to see you're in Bonnie Scotland at last Ellie. Been soooooooo long since i've been up there, you should definitely go back there in summer time though. Hat's off to you though for getting in that cold water haha. Don't forget my Haggis and Square Sausage, drop it off to me in North Yorkshire on your way back lol. Great video, loved it. ❤❤😘😘🌟🌟🌟
You forgot tattie scones!
Just about to pass my second home. Loch awe. Been fishing and camping there 20+ year. Remote and gorgeous 🏴
Being Scottish we do love our wee bit hill n glen and don't take it for granted. On a nice day there's no better place in the world. Glad you are enjoying your adventures again
I use to work on the fish farm in Ullapool, Loch Broom. Just being in it's surrounding and watching the wildlife was the best part of job.
heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ellie awww love this vlog and what beautiful scenery in scotland :)
Wow you are a beautiful person. ❤ I am Scottish and miss the west country accent my previous GF had.
😂 I'm a landscaper. I spend most of my time in the hills, and live in the beautiful Borders. We often stop and just ... look. Because you're right, it's glorious.
If you want snow, after Christmas is your best bet but there's snow in the Highlands all year.
Hey honey. I live in the beautiful forgotten Scotland ( Dumfries and Galloway). I only work 3 days as I need to go out walking, swimming, kayaking etc as it's so beautiful. Thanks for all your hard work. Best wishes Andrew take good care of yourself x
Great video as all ways Eleanor , that river looked really cold to be honest , just be careful in flooded rivers . i did feel for you when the coffee cup leaked , that was just bad luck . i am looking forward to see the next installment of the Scottish trip . stay safe .
Thank you Roy really glad you enjoyed it 😊❤️
It does look like an amazing place.Nice to see you so happy.
I will say this you are a breath of fresh air with your videos ( I only found you by accident today ) your blogs are raw and refreshing your not trying to make it all about you but about the actual places which again is refreshing and a actual feel of being there . X
I visit Loch Lubnaig all the time to the car park you pulled into.
The scenery changes with the seasons .
it’s truly stunning on a calm winter day, blue sky and a little snow on the ground.
Is brilliant that you took yourself out of your comfort zone, its on my personal to do list aswel, when my vans repaired bloody thing😅 anyway enjoyed that one in particular 👍
Hope you get your van fixed up soon Dave and you can go off on many amazing adventures 😊
My kids never seemed to feel the cold and always just stripped off and waded into the loch/river etc. every day I get to enjoy the sight of two lochs, the gare loch and Loch Lomond, an amazing place to live and work. Thank you for your videos in general but specifically these ones.
You're crazy lady. That river @ 3:07 you swam in. I looked it up on Google Maps and in the picture section there are at least eight photos of that spot with a nice beach at it. The five pine trees in the centre distance are distinctive as markers.
Scotland's rivers are low in the summer but the rest of the year they are really full. Scotland is one of the wettest places ever. Incidently, Fort William where you are heading has the highest rainfall figures in all of the UK!
The river was about six feet higher than in the summer and probably 12 feet deep out towards the far bank. Just as well you stayed close to the edge. I wouldn't have done it at all at this time of year, hence your crazy, in a nice way.
I struggled to go back to the office job after spending my summer in the Scottish countryside, as you say, I just wanted to be out there all the time. Good to see you don't let the cold stop you, you're amazing.
Loving the outdoors videos . Going to give you bit of advice. I have said to many car & van campers before . Get some front door windows deflectors for driver & passenger side . Then you can leave windows open a small bit and stop the condensation forming inside your vehicle .
The deflectors stops the rain from coming in 👍🏴
Nice to see you had a good time up here in Scotland, i'm sure you will be back soon. 😁
Born in Scotland but now live in Devon. Scotland is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK bar none. It’s another level and beyond. Highly recommend anyone to visit and explore the beauty.
One of them but bar none? Doesn't make sense.
@@pittodrie19831 wind your neck in sunshine.

Brrrrr you made me feel so cold🥶 swimming but i am so pleased for you as your enjoying Scotland take care drive safe 😄👍👍
LAKE!!!’
😂
Never call Loch Lomond a lake 😂
Hi, first welcome to gods country. Hope you enjoy your trip. Loving your videos G
Beautiful --great stuff !
Just started watching your videos and what you do is amazing. Subscribed after watching the Ben Nevis and Fort William ones.
Firstly the reason you will get signal in places like this is due to in big cities 100,000 may connect to a signal mast, in remote locations you may be lucky if 100 connect at once, sure some campsites also have signal booster so as can offer internet. Secondly, why do you do this alone and do you not get lonely or scared?
Loving the videos btw but i love honest reviews of wonderful Scotland and that show places i visited as a kid.
Ciao Eleanora! Was not expecting another video so quick! But many many thanks for the upload. Love the autumn vibes, the brown and orange leaves, the tunes and all the colours, perhaps this is best season of the year. BTW where you went swimming there was this lovely mist very atmospheric. Safe travels onwards. Arrivederci, Rafael
Brave getting in that river... that's quite a flow. Fingers crossed I make it up there next year, nice vid
I’m a Scottish follower and your vlogs are great? But I need to work to enjoy my weekends in the wild.👍🏴💯
My home Loch Lomond one of the most beautiful places ever😍😍😍
Good evening Eleanor I hope you are well beautiful we Monday video safe trip and have a amazing week and all the best from Ireland
Hey Kevin have a lovely week too 😊❤️
Hi......cant believe your actualy in my back yard! So close to where i live. Would have been fantastic to have bumped into you. Hope u enjoy your visit to scotland. Stay safe in the water! Loving watching your channel. Cheers.
And now you've another Scottish subscriber 😁
I live in Glasgow and lots of weekends in the areas your visiting
Hope that swim wasn't to cold for you! Looks like some Amazing areas there! Trees looked absolutely beautiful there near your swimming spot. Haha fell right in! That's the way to get past the cold temperature..
Glad the neighbors enjoyed their strong herb haha! Stinking junk.
Hope those delicious noodles were good and mobie networks are crazy! Hope your parents are well. Hope that new camera is much better.
Thank goodness you didn't lose your current camera though!
Car smells like Coffee now there we go! Natural scent.
What an amazing last scenic view! Omw!
Well done Eleanor...I can hear a little bit of a Scottish accent already😂😂😂
Please be careful when you are in rivers like that in Scotland. The under current is reely reely dangerous . 👍🏴
Well done on finding your way up here!! And I have done my job for over 20 years because I am out on these roads every day, and somehow I have never been passing Loch Lubnaig at lunchtime to stop even though I want to, maybe next time I'm headed up to Oban or F/William. And for the record, my family always loved Cornwall, especially Westward Ho and Padstow. :) Glad you enjoyed it, shame you didnt stop into Killin to see the falls, amazing. :)
Great vid from one of your fellow car campers and Scottish followers 🏴🥾⛺️
Your braver than me that’s for sure getting in that water, bet it was freezing 🥶. So happy your having a great time
I love the colours in the autumn.
Nevis range 👍🏻 that’s where I do mountain biking racing
I stayed in that campsite last year, it’s a lovely wee place! Some nice bars for a good meal a short walk away as well. Don’t worry about being seen wild swimming in Scotland, people are used to it up here and barely even notice 🙂 the algorithm brought me here today and you earned a sub! Also that loch, Lubnaig is super super deep in not sure if that’s suitable for swimming or not.
I live next to Loch Lomond and never notice it lol. A bit like I doubt the Parisians pay much attention to the Eifel Tower
Love your blogs. You’re one tough cookie taking the cold plunge like a Royal Marine and just walking over the stones and into the cold water like it’s nothing when testing it out. Have your feet just desensitised over time and do you even feel it if someone was to tickle them?😂 Have a great week. 👍
So glad you had a good day and enjoying your visit, you will not want to leave. BTW, I had nine Red Kites playing in the wind over the trees at the end of the garden today. Please watch for deer on the roads, they have bugger-all road sense... not to mention the moronic pheasant with less road sense than a grey squirrel ❤
Well done going in the river , I have walked past that location a few times . Hope your enjoying yourself .
You will have to visit the West Coast and that's me from the East Coast Dundee saying that :)
😂
going in the river was sketchy young lady! you are giving me so many ideas of where to go, instead of going in the river or lake i would be in a nice country pub with a open fire having a lemonade!!
It always takes yir breath away that how people get into trouble always expect it to be freezing and regulate your breathing 💙🏴
Better even still? Ease and cool your blood flow into the cold...
Onward and upward… you’re so brave and amazing 🙂
Know that campsite well. My son and I had our first camping session there in the pouring rain about 10 years ago! My daughter and her friend also swam from that wee beach on a boiling hot summer's day two year's back. Looks very different in October! That little river is actually the river Forth, which eventually becomes the huge Firth of Forth with Edinburgh, Queensferry and a big chunk of Fife as it's shoreline. Crazy to think that wee thing eventually becomes a large estuary.
You certainly have a deep love for nature, I can tell and it's nice to see you getting out there and being a part of it. There is a lot of stunning scenery up here in Scotland, wish the job market was better though haha nonetheless, looks like you had a blast.
Eleanor, I think Scotland has fallen in love with you too xx
She did it 👏 👏 👏 well done. Just be carefull there are lots of undercurrents in these lochs.
Good idea! 4 pairs of socks, on each foot! 😂
Hi Ellie, absolutely adore the scenery around the 10min mark - it looks stunning ( and i thought the Lakes were the best) .And you still have Glen Coe to see before you get to Fort William. Stay safe lovely ❤
Don't have lakes here
@@7henke7 I meant the Lake district. And for the record Scotland have lakes too - called lochs
@@lee-v5z6lHaloo from ahem! Sunny Scotland FYI There is but one lake in the entirety of Scotland and that is the Lake of Monteith, a man made lake that used to host ‘The Bonspiel’ a curling tournament, when the ice was thick enough, however, once health and safety got to grips with it I doubt it’ll ever be held again. Ahh! The nanny state.
A very good Monday evening to you all from Wellington Somerset
