Clearlake Never Disappoints, Two For Almost 20lb

- Decided to head to Clearlake for a couple days to see if I could run into a few fish. Watching all the recent tournament results it seemed like it was kicking out some monster bags; so I packed up and headed to clearlake. I wasn't expecting to run into two freaks, a 9.17lb and a 10.20lb. Clearlake is a special place, on of my favortie fisheries this time of year.

Sacramento blackfish, they’re kinda like a pike minnow or hitch a big minnow type fish that eat plankton.

I heard clear lake had an algae problem. Are those fish edible?

@@fishermanwilson8342 why not? The main issue in most our lakes is mercury which CL doesn’t have more than any other Lake around. Fish in Berry have tested higher than CL, the algae is a different story but really isn’t an issue and is seasonal.
It has more to do with meth in the lake but it seems like your mom might have done it all while she was pregnant.
