The scene of Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix was soo good. You can almost see Emma's expressions behind Helena's face. Just perfect.
She literally portrayed 4 people there herself, Emma trying to be her, and Hermione trying to be Bellatrix.This showed what an amazing actress she is

@@Skyv111 i honestly much prefer the books, the movies were a bit of a disappointment… but i do find that HBC did a beautiful job at embodying Bellatrix and making my skin crawl when she would come on screen! I didnt have that reaction with her in the books, i did have it with Umbridge though 🤣😡
When I read the books, I kept imagining Bellatrix as the matchmaker from Mulan. I think the description “heavy lidded eyes” made me think she was a heavy woman lol. Helena Bonham’s casting was an terrific choice.

She was so amazing that I often have a difficult time not picturing her when I'm reading about witches. Even when how they're described is not at all similar to her 😂 she was just the perfect evil witch

But she's also been fantastic in just about any thing that she's been in. I've loved her ever since I saw her as 'Marla' in Fight Club.

Such a talented actress! The scene where Hermione has taken the poly juice potion is one of the most impressive pieces of acting I've ever seen. Helena was able to perfectly mimic Emma's style and the character of Hermione, it was literally like you were watching Emma in Helena's skin, incredible work!!

In the torture scene I heard that there were real emotions tossed around off set because of the depth and turmoil of that scene. Both actresses did amazing work in that part.

As we all know that some people see villains in public and think that they are that character in real life. Some actors have even been attacked for their role.
