I work industrial maintenance and have ran through probably 40 plus brands of nitrile gloves in the last few years. In my opinion nothing beats harbor freights blue 7 mil gloves. Good mix between durability and flexibility for cheaper than most.
Somehow stumbled on your channel and am finding it quite addictive. If you ever make it out to Denver I believe I can give you a run for the best DIY garage you will ever come across!
Well damn…I was thinking about buying myself a couple but then thought nah, what do I need those for? But this comment re-changed my mind and now I need them hahaa that’s genius.
Great video! I love genius tools. I have all their sockets and pry bars. I am 3 years into diesel technician I left my construction job for. I'm curious to learn why you left the career. I love watching your videos keep up the good work!
@@ToolBoxTour the earthquake air ratchet you were showing at 9:32. Mostly just used on brake jobs or other fasteners after I break stuff loose but it definitely saves me time. Thanks for the review of your cart. Definitely enjoy your videos!
That's a nice cart setup! I've never seen someone with an open top area, but that makes a ton of sense. My "cart" is so full of tools that it no longer moves easily. So it just sits next to my box. No clue why I even have it lol. You're doing it much smarter
I appreciate you sharing. That’s great. I haven’t seen your other tour that you mention at the end. I’ll have to search for it. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉. I didn’t know until tonight that you wrenched. I always enjoy your stuff. Thx.
Great video man, love seeing your stuff as well as all the others, you definitely have a lot of experience behind them so some really cool stuff to see for sure. Keep up the great work man!
Cool vid, brotha! I was also wrenching professionally but had to quit to take care of my kids. So now my matco toolbox, rolling cart, and my harbor freight tool cart just sits in my garage collecting dust. And sometimes when i get bored, i re-organize my tools for no reason. 😂
I left wrenching because my shop closed but I never went back because of my kids. Seems like this industry prides itself on the long drawn out nights and extended hours techs put in to get cars in and out. After being home with my newborn for a few weeks, I knew I couldn’t go back to that life. The video acts like I was annoyed when my kid popped in to show me his Pokémon, but I’m always just as excited as he is when he’s happy. I appreciate you watching!
Ive tried a bunch of impact swivel sockets and ive had good luck with the Snap-on/ mac and grey pneumatic. I thought the astro pneumatic would be good and i was wrong. Ive had gearwrench sk and the hobo fart icon.
Really enjoy your channel, being nosy I would love to know what you do now you’ve finished wrenching and what you use all your tools for now. I live in the UK and got into Harleys a few years back………….which was a great excuse to build my SAE tool kit up, I love it!!!
Maybe I’m just unlucky but I have broken 2 gearwrench 3/8 ratchets with not a lot of use, I’ve since been using Proto and Matco and they have served me much better. I work for the railroad so they get used pretty hard.
Astro makes a high flow universal I’ve been switching my old air tool swivels to those along with “V” style high flow couplers made a huge difference along with 1/2” air lines . I have that IR impact, used it today to pull the subframe on my 13 focus. Also I have that IR right 3/8 angle impact and it’s impressive in my opinion. The nano is a beast as well! Have you done a video with some background on yourself? I noticed the ASE sticker o your main box would be interested in your automotive background, if you don’t mind sharing of course.
All my videos are toolbox tours. I may do a live stream here on TH-cam for anyone with questions about me. Not sure when that will be, but I will give everyone a day/time they can tune in. However as far as the ASE sticker goes - I wrenched professionally for about 14 years total.
@ToolBoxTour i love the fact that it appeared to be the chrome work top!? Thats friggin sweet, i bet its nice to not only have a mobile work cart, but, a mobile work top aswell 🙌🙏💯🔧 i always love watching the videos man. Thatd deffinatly be a nice cart to have! Just as the thumbnail said! Thats a money maker 🤙
Finally a tool box that is used for work and not a "show case" full of never used tools. smart lay out as well. I prefer the slide top over the flip up lid, works better for me (heavy diesel tech for 41 years) Good showing. why quit wrenching may I ask?
The shop I worked for closed down and offered a nice severance. This happened right when my first boy was born. Took some time off, and never went back. I started my own business, but I keep all my tools just incase I ever need to go back to wrenching. I have no worries about finding a place to work. Seems like shops are struggling to find good help these days. Thanks for watching!
I think you're the first other person i've ever seen (without deliberately searching) who had and used Genius tools. I was introduced to them when I was in tech school (brand presentation) something like 9-10 years ago and my first major tool haul was their 771pc master set without box. I've been using the majority of that set professionally since, and have had good luck with them. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.
I love what you're doing and especially enjoyed seeing your roll cart. "LIKE" button has been torqued to the manufacturer's recommended specification. "CLICK". God forbid you should be running around with a loose "LIKE" button !
You know I bought the icon 1/2 impact swivel expecting it to be junk and only last a month or so but the thing has gone on like 5 months and I have been using it any chance I get just to get it to fail and it hasn’t yet and that’s with working on semis where some of them were hella rusted
Love the content, I regularily watch your videos. I'd have to agree on the pinned vs pinless universial design ontop of the fact that the captive hardware used to retain the pin seems add more bulk to an already bulky socket (and if its not held captive that pin is guaranteed to pop out). Also that prevost opbd201 seems to be a compareable sidestep to the cornwells and such, there is also the astro 3sb40 which seems on par with the others and is slightly cheaper if people really want to watch their wallet seeing most are familiar with the astro name. Final thing is im disappointed I didn't get to find out what pokemon were acquired. 😄 Have a good weekend.
Yeah that does look like a good alternative to the Prevost. The Craftsman is one of the very few options to find a USA made pinless design out there, but the Gearwrench should satisfy most people. And I agree about the captive hardware! Just makes things bulky and in the way. Also - he found an electric type Pokémon haha!
@@ToolBoxTournot to be a hater, but a flip top, that flips up from the front, and stands upright..... Like the cheap harbor freight carts..... It's great for putting a magnet plate and displaying tools. It explodes the functional space of the top portion of the box. I would never want a sliding top like this. You can get magnet racks for all the quarter inch and 3/8 sockets ...and stick them on the flip top lid. And use the entire top level horizontal portion for wrenches and pliers
I don’t think you’re a hater at all! Since I’ve left wrenching, I actually don’t care for the slide top since I can’t open the top without moving it away from the wall. I agree with you 100%. It worked super well for me while I was wrenching professionally though. 💪
I have the exact same one in blue, I want to buy another one I love the sliding top get a little bit more room out of the top. I mounted a harbor freight in side cabinet onto it it matches almost perfectly, I bet if you found the one in Green would be pretty close, makes it a whole different cart

Love the green and that ratchet drawer in your blue box was killer with the chrome/green/blue! I also love the IR air tools as well, for the price, durability and power its hard to be a them.
Thanks Mark! It served me well. One thing I don’t care for about it.. if you want to open one of the sliding tops, you have to take everything off on top. Sucks if you’re in the middle of a big project and need in there. Newer designs have basically drawers that can be pulled out instead. Thanks for watching Mark!
I have those air swivels on almost every single one of my air tools. They are all Cornwell. Just FYI. Cornwell is the only company that will lifetime warranty their swivels. Snap-on one year. Mac one year. There are a few other brands and they are still just one year. The seals inside of them will go bad. But I will say I have not had any go bad yet on the Cornwell. Yet 🤞 now that I said that I'm going to have one go bad Monday😂
