You drilling and tapping the brake rod for adjustments is a great idea and for CanAm to put something on the bolts to hold them in place Incase the nuts were to back off is good.

Looks almost just like my 2021 F-3S with different wheels! 😉They are really expensive machines. Bet you got a good deal on the crashed one. 👍🏻 I bought mine used with 705 miles on it. Saved a few thousand $. The original owner traded it on a new RT Limited. He and the wife wanted to tour on it. He likes the F-3S so much, but it didn’t fit their needs. I didn’t get the passenger back seat when I bought it. I’m gonna get the Corbin dual saddle with backrest. Which can move to the drivers position in about 1 second! I had the Corbin set up with backrest on my Valkyrie STD. Loved it. Their pretty expensive but worth the price in the line run. The wife and I could ride all day and night with no saddle sore! 😉 Corbin, you get what you pay for, period.

Hello Dj protect, Yeah for sure everything is expensive on those things!
We done our second ride trip on it yesterday, 200 mile round-trip had a blast!
We bought the Corbin backrest with the short armrest and the wife loves it!
It throwing the fault code a couple times of C006C
Looked it up said something about steering angle sensor.
I’ll have to look into it see if I have to take it to the dealer and maybe have it calibrated?
      That will suck! LOL
Thanks for checking out the video!!

Hey broderp, I just adjusted the rod so the brake pedal felt comfortable for me. Had it so I could lengthen or shorten it.
To be honest with you I don’t know the stock length number 3 Rod would be?
The original length of my rod was number 5 so I just shorten it up and made it adjustable.
Appreciate the comment and you checking out the video!

Just an observation, but the brake pedal sits around the stock height for position 3, which many state is way too high, requiring excessive foot movement to use. Your modification will only allow the rod to get longer, thereby making the pedals only adjustment to make it higher as you unscrew it. Did you find this to be the case and shorten the long part of the rod? Great video. It looks like Can-Am made these pretty easy to take apart and repair. I hope i never need to find out, lol.

Looks mostly like cosmetic parts. Cool brake adjustment idea. You sure you’re not part farmer we always make our own parts rather than buy them. Thanks for sharing

Nice project. Hey KC, I won a new quad while in Vegas at a work convention, I think I can choose a Polaris 570 trail edition or a Honda Rubicon. Which would you choose? I have a 99 Foreman 400 now and it really has been a good machine.

    • @kcatv9556

Hey Steve, That’s cool you won a quad! I would probably go with the Honda Rubicon Q has one of those you know his channel Quaddingsous?
but anyways he seems to really like it. Thanks for checking out the video buddy greatly appreciated!

Nicely done! Looks good buddy! - - -
    4:20 - WTH is on your gloves? Hair? Fiberglass? - - -
How weird is it that the brake pedal rod isn't adjustable? That's as weird as eggs for lunch - LOL - nice fix BTW! Looks like factory! - - -
I can't imagine those parts were cheap. Did you have to sell any of your body parts to get them? HAHAHA!!!
PS: I hope I didn't offend any eggs in my earlier sentence. I was just kidding about eggs for lunch being weird. It's not weird. Hollywood is weird. DANG, now I've offended Hollywood! Sorry Hollywood, but really . . . you're weird! - LOL

    • @kcatv9556
      @kcatv9556  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey Buddy, Haha yes that was fiberglass stuck to my gloves.
I had been repairing one of the radiator towers I was reusing. LOL
Yeah you would think Can-Am would have a better set up for when you want to move the pegs and not have to buy a new brake rod. You know me I like to modify stuff and make it my own way so it worked out just fine.
You may not of offended any eggs but I’m sure you offended some roasters!
You do know roosters can lay eggs now..just sayin..
      Hahahahaha!
Thanks for watching appreciate it, buddy!
