Awesome! So glad that you found it! Yea it would be pretty much insane to attempt any hike there in the summer. We visited in October once and that was warm enough for us!
Thank you for this video... I would not have known about Pastel Canyon if not for this. I hiked in Fire Wave and out to the road through this canyon. Thank you!
Hey guys! We might need to update this because we have heard they they closed the parking down. There is a trail called the Fire wave and Seven Wonders loop that you can use to access it though! :) www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/nevada/fire-wave-and-pink-canyon Just be careful if you do this in the summer. It would probably be way to hot!
@@LiveThatAdventure Oh awesome, thank you! Our trip is in late September-October, so shouldn't be as hot! There seems to be a lot of stuff in this area
@@MagellanandGreyhound That should be perfect. I believe we filmed this in late october. This might help you plan your trip as well :) th-cam.com/video/iYiPJ6YkyLQ/w-d-xo.html
@@LiveThatAdventure Is the coordinate 36.479556, -114.526583 your article no longer valid? Should I follow the Fire wave and Seven Wonders loop then? Thanks
@@kpham7952 Unfortunately it sounds like you can no longer park there. Yes the fire wave and seven wonders loop should get you there. Have a great hike!
Hi, a huge fan of all your videos. Thanks for making my trip planning super easy! It says in the blog post that this trail is not pet-friendly but the state park itself does allow dogs to visit. Right? Is the trail off-limits? Or is there a specific reason you don't recommend this for dogs? (Besides the obvious deadly heat in the summer thing, which I'll obviously avoid.)
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! We are glad that you enjoy the videos! We need to get back to valley of fire because things have changed. You aren't allowed to park where we did in the video anymore. It is now part of a 1. 8 loop. We how you have a great trip to the park! 😁
Hello! I’ve done this hike in the past during the winter months and will be returning in early August this year. Just wondering if it’s part of the trail closures during the summer or if it will be open and accessible in a few weeks? Thanks for any info you may have 😊
Hey, from the park website, Firewave closes until Oct. 1st. This hike connects there and the 7 Wonders Loop so I assume it will be closed as well. Trust me, you don't wanna be hiking that in the summer months. parks.nv.gov/news/season-trail-closures-at-valley-of-fire-state-park
It appears that they don't let you park there anytime, but you can still get to it via the fire wave trail Fire Wave and Pink Canyon via Seven Wonders Trail on AllTrails www.alltrails.com/trail/us/nevada/fire-wave-and-pink-canyon-via-seven-wonders-trail?p=-1&sh=uxnotq
Brilliant! Found the trail and it was well worth the 1 hour drive from Las Vegas. But I can't imagine doing this in the summer!

Thank you Bob! We love it there! Enjoy it while you can, it's going to be so hot out there soon!
No parking on the side of the road now!
