    Although this was exposed about Ravi, it did not change how eloquent he was and on point he was. It's sad he was going through this battle, and the women who were involved as well. I was disappointed and sad when I heard the news, but it also taught me that Jesus is the only one who we can trust. God bless you all, and I'm hoping that Ravi got right with God before he passed away.

      I think I agree. I’ve been around long enough to see when a person is exposed for their sins and hypocrisy and then they become ashamed and turn from their wicked ways. It’s better to confess your sins in this life than to have to stand before God and give an account. If some people knew about Ravi Z and did nothing...oh my, I would not want to be in his shoes when they stand before God!

      Most of what she talked about was on the internet long before he died. Once I read those emails and his response and the fact that he made her sign a NDA I lost all respect for him. This was at least a couple years before he died. www.raviwatch.com/news/story/sex-scandal/. It is one thing to fall it is another to continue to lie and cover it up even after being found out. The Bible is very clear on this point. Prov. 28:13 People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.

Although we all sin, sin it should not be a lifestyle. It is something we should actively be fighting. A lot of his behavior was well thought out it appears. I still think he was a wonderful thinker and helped the Christianity. I hope he really repented before he died. But it seems he was pretty calloused already. But who am I to say. This is a sad story. Regardless, Jesus is still on his throne and he will continue to do his work of bringing people to his kingdom. I Praise God for that.

    Roys mentions that people are looking at him as an apologist; was he really the best. I was deeply grieved when he spoke at a conference in Aspen; a couple asked if it were God’s will that their seven year old daughter suffered terribly from a medical condition, and his weak reply was that we would see that God was like a doctor with a hypodermic needle, giving us a shot that was painful, but was what we needed. It was a heartless, shallow answer to these grieving people. I’ve felt sad for the wonderful organizers of this conference, who had the very best of intentions.

    • @dimains6011
      @dimains6011 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The simple answer is yes. Nothing happens in this world that God doesn't allow to happen. He could stop everything painful and evil, but he doesn't. We should find peace in the fact that "God works all things together for good to those who believe." Also, as sinners, God is just to allow trials to befall us because as sinners we deserve any suffering in this life that we get, even though this girl does not deserve this affliction more than I do. We truly deserve hell for our rebellion and hate towards God, and it is by the grace of God that we don't get what we deserve as soon as we sin. God sent his Son to live a perfect life and be the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the world, so that anyone who believes God and the testimony of His only begotten Son will have eternal life. Grace to you and peace.

      That's awful. Saying she was meant to be sick, rather than cultivating relationships with real Christian healers, if he wasn't going to do it himself. I've seen healings done by Christians, known people to have been healed of cancer by prayer.
      It looks like he was just an intellectual, not really a follower if Jesus.
      I was devastated, when I heard about his philandering, for a while I had listened to his radio show.
      Now I'm over it, it sounds like he never applied what he read in the Bible. I'm not crying for him, that was dumb, and he wasn't what he pretended to be.

      When I was 18 months old, the courts took me away from my mom and dad saying they were unfit parents. The day I was removed, I landed in a foster home. There was 7 foster kids. Two were girls and the 5 were boys. This foster famly was evil in every way. I dont know when it started, but I was being sexual abused by the foster family only and true son. He was 21 years old and I was 5 years old when I realized somthing was very wrong. When my social worker came by, I told her time after time I was being sexual abused but the evil foster mother named Mary Brown would say that I was making it up. The social worker did nothing. There was no love that that house! I never heard the words? I love you, I believe in you, nothing. If I reached for an apple to eat, my hands were slapped and iI was told to put it back. The old man of the house lived a life as an alcoholic and he died from it. When I was 7, one day i was in my room after be beaten by the buckle of a belt ( that happen on a weekly basis ) I was crying and I was ready to take my own life by hanging myself. Interesting, the radio was playing gospel music. I cried out and said Lord! if you really love me then I need to hear it! Then all of a sudden, the music stop and a voice came from the radio saying, there is a young boy out there and God wans him to know he is deeply loved and the music starting up again. For anyone who attends church, you know that not even the paastor will stop the worship. I jumped up and down and my heart was gald and my tears turn to joy!! There after, my Jesus took me out of that home and put me in a worderful home. Yes, taste the Lord and know he is good. Ravi was someone I looked up to and after hearing his own sexual immorality I started to beg the question? Is Ravi in hell? All I can say is that God is the one who knows. My pain of my yourth is always there but the love of Jesus keeps me togather. Here is the thing about ture salvation, we do sin but then we our convited and we prayer and ask for forgivness. Christians dont practice sin. Another example of what it's like to keep going in your own sin and doing nothing about it? In high school, I had baseball practice for the last cass of the day. So hear we have it, every day I would practice baseball daily. The person of ture faith is the opposite. We sin but we dont practice lawlessness. As we grow in the Lord, sin seems to fade away. Why? because I love Jesus, I dont want to break his heart. I want to love him and people. My past makes it hard for me to understand what it is to love other people? All that said, my God have mercey on Ravi and us and the lost. I dont condone Ravi actions. Please, may we always just trust in our Lord Jesus. If it were not for him? I would not be hear. My God will deal with the man who sexually abused me. God bless all that took the time to read my broken english. My you find rest ubder the wings of the almighty. Isaiah 41: 10. Do not be afraid, for i am with you. Do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will hold you up with my victorious hand. I close now with many tears running down my face. Come Lord Jesus, come

    Why is Ravi s wife and children not questioned ? Instead of asking 4rd 5th parties .....What about the Thompsons? Why are they not interviewed ? Why is the story coming out now ? Have you seen any comments from Ravi's son? I hurt for him...he is so broken over this same issue that you raise. He states that the family was silenced...they were told not to speak out. Ravi's wife was not questioned but they asked for his cellphones and she turned all of them over to the attorneys. Neither did they question the rest of the family. I do believe Ravi is guilty of something but I cannot understand why he went to the secular courts to sue Lorie Anne instead of seeking counsel with Christians to resolve the matter. The RZIM board did not act in his best interest when they allowed him to reign with no rules. They allowed him to spend with no accountability. They just wanted to keep receiving a paycheck...In my opinion, they were not interested in functioning with integrity, honesty or accountability. The women should have had interviews by the board years ago. Ravi should have repented when the first massage business was closed by the partner. They were both scandalous because they just opened up another one. More allegations arose so the partner said he shut the second one down because of Ravi's bad behavior. I wish we could turn back the hands of time. Ravi started to fraternize with prosperity gospel preachers. The association with Hillsong was a big shock to me. That church is guilty of covering up for a pedophile. Brian Houston's dad molested so many children. Ravi did not contend for the faith when he preached at the Mormon church. He never distinguished between the Mormon Jesus and the Christian Jesus. There were so many red flags. The board did not care as long as the money was flowing. If the family had insisted that the NDA be made public before his death, Ravi would have had pressure to explain his actions and repent.

    • @taksionglau7484
      @taksionglau7484 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Ravi's wife and daughter are RZIM board and executives. They initially denied sexual allegations and later approved quarter million dollars with conditions for Thompsons never to talk again.
      Why after his death only these things surface? I think Ravi is a master communicator to hide these facts while alive.
      It was RZIM board who hired independent investigators to seek the facts. So, these are not third or fourth hand hearsay. They were first hand victims of these horrible sexual acts.
      I think it is terrible stewardship of donor's money to use it to fund these ladies.
      Whatever it is, the family are hurting and the name of Jesus is disgraced among the unbelievers.

God doesn't tell us to sweep sin under the rug if a person has died. No. It has to be brought out in the open and dealt with. Especially if it is deeply disturbing sin within the church. God is about CLEANSING, EXPOSING and BRINGING FORTH TRUTH so many affected can be healed and also...a warning to others ministry leaders who may be going down the same path. ps: These things came out before Ravi passed away. Yes let’s talk about it. Dear people, do not bring down the man of God for the sin he committed. This just validates that the Bible is true. You look at men in the Bible and see they fell in terrible sin, look at David who committed adultery and was a murderer, what about Solomon who had thousands of wives and Concubines, or Noah who was a drunker, or Paul who was a murderer, Abraham slept with someone who was not his wife and made another child who was not the chosen one and so many more who God used. These are men just like us. Christians why cry Ravi down, instead defend him, not the sin but because he was one of us. You leave nothing for the ungodly. Why take down his messages when they have inspired many, is it no God’s word? My friends understand this is a ploy of the enemy and it came from right in his ministries. Ravi is wearing his crowns in Heaven and did a good job here on earth. Well done to the man of God. Many cant carry the anointing he did. Target him down now, when he cannot defend himself, try to erase him so the word of God cannot travel across the world. You all are ridiculous. God qualified him and he has run his course. Wake up and repent from your sins and turn away. It is not easy and asks unstopping that the Holy Spirit to help you, begged profoundly for forgiveness and Grace to turn away from your sin. See and accept this free warning and education from God and stop judging Ravi because your sins are not less than Ravi! Your sin is also damage other people “innocents” lives. I thank God for the example of what my sin will become if I ignore Romans 1:24-32…

Well done.

      I’ve learned that the ones who cry out in pain for their sin are too few. Most of them aren’t repentant and if they cry is because they’re exposed.

      Come on do your research. They've been trying to expose him since 2017. His ministry surpassed it and covered it up tried to sue people to threaten them to not come out and speak the truth. There's hundreds of photos he owned massage parlors in his testimony is a multiple victims of repeated sexual perversion again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. At least since 2017 have people been trying to speak out.

    Yes, Ravi was a wonderful and brilliant teacher. Such a shame he turned out to be such a fraud!!! But, he is no where near on par with the late Dr. Greg Bahnsen when it comes to apologetics.
