- “Mohan Rao Sir” was one of the stars to decorate the galaxy of singer-devotees of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He was a wonderful singer and more important, a sincere devotee of God. Swami was fond of him as was obvious in his interactions with Bhagawan. And one didn't have to wait for this because Swami spoke to him regularly!
He has had the unique privilege of singing for Shirdi Baba in front of the Samadhi in Shirdi and for Sathya Sai Baba, our Swami, for almost 4 decades.
Sai Ram!When you talk about singing,I am reminded of Madhura Mohana Ghana Shyama Song. How much Swami loves it. And Swami even loves Janani Maa Bhajan!Swami always loves to hear the heart singing!In June,we sang 98 bhajans in our Samithi and how much ever we sang,we felt like singing ,so much thirsty that not even 10 glasses of water(Bhajans) were not enough.Jai Sai Ram!Geetha MohanRam Ji said that when we sing from our heart,the Bhajans vibrate in Swami's heart.May our love for our most beloved Swami grow stronger and stronger every passing moment!

The day when my ears and my heart will get tired of listening to your Satsang on Swami, that will be the possible last day of life on earth. I seriously can’t get enough of listening to you when you talk about Swami. Just like Annammaya was brought to earth to sing for the Lord, for me personally I feel you were brought into the Sai fold so that you can continuously story about our Lord to millions out here. I can laugh, I can tear, I can be in instant bliss while listening to your Satsang. I spread around your videos to my closed ones around me and they all equally gets timely messages from your video. They would thank me for forwarding the video to them and I would always reiterate it’s you the chosen One by the Lord, and not me. I have many tapes from mid to late 90's with Sri Mohan Rao garu on chorus mic or singing a few bhajans. Love his voice.. you could even hear him without a mic from outside the bhajan hall.

Mohan Rao was the contemporary of another great singer Sri Raja Reddy garu, who also used to sing bhajans with single key shruthi on the harmonium... I was soo thrilled to see my favourite seen from Annamayya movie I like that scence only ..why because at last moment before the soul leaves the body he saw God with his eyes and touched ...i hadn't touched Swami's feet though Swami gave me darshan in first line..but my wish is i should able to utter the name of lord when my soul leaves my body

Yes.Mohan Rao garu was singing when I lived in prasanthinilayam and singing bhajans in mandir.He used to sing very loudly.I think Arvind was not there at that time.
