After a fair amount of thinking and staring, I take on the task of aligning all the separate panels in the hope they’ll go together nicely . . . . . . They Don’t!!!!!!
That’s a good idea, I was also looking at other stuff. However I’ve done some measuring and may have found the problem, I’ll verify my theory today hopefully.
Not that it makes a huge difference…but whilst test fitting you could use a couple of 1mm pieces of metal under your boot hinges to act as a shim and bring it inline to where the hinge panel will be when fitted. Last thing you want is a leaky back side!

At least the sun is shining, always a brain scratcher, me I would only worry about overall alignment (front to back) good progress though, stick at it
