You have some really awesome close-up footage of them - Way to go! They are so beautiful I just love looking at their faces LOL.. I'll have a puppy in February / March. I'm on a list and sent my deposit! I can't wait!!

He doesn’t typically mind when it’s wet outside. Zulu on the other hand does. She’s got more cat genes in her. 🤣
They are adorable!!! Do they shed a lot? My 13-month-old Basenji does...🐕 🧹😂

Thank you. I think the video quality is only gonna get better now that I’m back to using adobe premiere. :-) We give them the same amount of food. Zinga used to get a little bit more than Zulu, but we noticed his ribs weren’t showing as much because we stopped going to the dog park when the pandemic hit, so we cut back on his food a bit. 😊

I think it’s a little over a 1/4 cup twice a day. I don’t remember the exact amount. 🤗

Sha No, we did raw for a while with our previous two but since finding Avoderm we’ve stuck with it.
Just re-reading comments, and realized that when I answered this question I failed to mention that we actually do feed them some raw foods. Cucumber 🥒 for instance. 😊 But only as snacks.
Where did you get your dogs? I came across them and now I want one 😍
We got them from a breeder who lives in central Florida. Check out some of the Facebook groups for Basenjis. There are a lot of reputable breeders on them. Just be sure you’re dealing with a reputable one. They won’t be pushing to sell, but they’re involved in the forums. 😊
when young ours would run around the football field track and race a quarter mile before peeling off to sniff around.

Ya gotta have room for these dogs to run...whether that's the DP or whatever...these dogs need to run at least an hour a day.
Yep, they have a lot of energy. When Zinga and Zulu don’t get enough outdoor time they usually make up for it with some good evening play time with toys. 😊🐕🐕🐾🐾
@@BasenjiAdventures Take them to an elementary school playground where they can run safely , no cars etc that will give them more exercise in 10 min than you can give them in a hour wallking, they love to run.
Zinga is acting so like my Basenji girl Sarah in ignoring your direction. She would just stare at me looking bored.

There's no scientific proof that feeding them this way does anything. Just give them their food. You don't need to do all that useless stuff.
