Missed some of the other most important spots😬. Tiger hill, where one can see mountain range and sunrise. Reknowned Alubari monastery [second oldest in darjeeeling with magnificent sculpture and paintings ] also build when first world war started and finished when it ended.hence the name "Mak Dhog" meaning "war and peace"...must go place..very spiritual and artistic simultaneously. Can never go wrong.. Although modest and don't promote oneself as much, their beauty has been awed.............must explore some other tea estate like badamtam..main representative of tea of darjeeling unlike happy valley which is more for a commercial purpose and blah blah..😂

Hello... Thanks for properly highlighting the bright sides of cool and Misty Darjeeling. I went to a college there for 3 years and explored all parts of Darjeeling. I am surprised you didn't visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute..HTI...the iconic part of the place....it was a biggest miss I believe. I hope you visit the neighbouring state SIKKIM too because it will certainly give a different experience of the cleanest and most developed mountain State in India.

the most amazing things to do in Darjeeling goes beyond these attractions. The beautiful tea gardens on the slopes of rolling hills, the orchids, pines & rhododendrons, the cute Himalayan toy train negotiating its way through the mountains combined with great sightseeing tours, food, shopping and other exciting activities, there’s so much that this stunning town has to offer.
