The fact that you have to intentionally sabotage everything to get this ending is hilarious. At this point it’s not Shepard being incompetent, he’s actively trying to destroy the galaxy lmao
EDI and the Geth are wiped out, The Earth has all life exterminated (probably), the Milky Way has been likely reduced to Stone Age levels of technology and the Normandy has been severely damaged and the entire crew likely dead. And what does Meg do?. Laugh pretty much throughout the entire thing!.
I knew that the Sol system could get decimated, but I didn't know most of the rest of that was possible. Also, my head cannon is now thinking that the door just fell off the Normandy at 11:11
Ugly Shep returns to ruin the day again, last time he not only killed everyone on the suicide misson he also died leaving Joker to fight the reapers all by himself.
be glad you got the extended cut ending your first time through my first playthrough i got this ending WITHOUT the extended DLC it was horrible, but serves me right i guess for rushing the game i was young and dumb and also have the attention span of a squirrel
@@durema9720 Nothing. This is basically the best ending you get in original ME 3. If you have old game. Don't download any DLC and you will see this. You couldn't get better ending. The only difference was that Shephard could be alive at the end. Seeing him breathing.
This is a thing you have to earn, deliberate or otherwise. For the record I once started at ME1 with the mind set of "what are all the wrong decisions in the long term". It was the most heinous thing I've ever done in video games.
In my first playtrought i collect every possible races to the last fight with the reapers and i refused to use Crucible. "They can handle it i said". How disapointed i was. At the end there is loop with Liara voice under the ruins and noone remember Shepard at all :D
Don’t know if you’ve watched it on twitch yet but you might enjoy the happy ending mod to react to. Although might be a good mod for your renegade run 🤪
There's a way to play the trilogy where you manage to kill pretty much *everyone* (except Traynor, I guess), so that the Normandy memorial wall gets overflowed. And it utterly breaks the ending cutscene too. Big Dan Gaming has a video on it, and I think I saw a more extensive three part series on it.
It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen, the game literally can’t comprehend the things you’ve done and there’s just floating objects and people missing from the scene everywhere it’s the best thing on TH-cam loll
this is the only walkthrough made me laugh so hard that i forget i cried when i finished it myself, what is that abomination? (shepherd) thank you i needed this laugh, made my day even comments made whole thing twice funnier 😂
Yup, and there are 2 ways to trigger it, refusing the options or saying that you will pick one but instead you go trigger happy to the starchild, I also think that the tiny scene before Liara's message is slighty different depending on how low are your War Assets or overall Effective Military Strength (the later in the vanilla release) as you can see if Hackett's ship is destroyed or not at that tiny moment.
I don't think so, with the refuse ending you sacrifice your cycle, allow the Reapers to finish their harvest like they've done thousands of times before, and after you a new cycle arises just like Shepard's which we are shown manages to defeat the Reapers. With this ending you kill like 90% of life in the galaxy and their technology, including non-spacefaring civilizations who have no idea about the Reaper war, destroy the mass relays, and you basically plunge the entire galaxy into a probably 100,000-year-long dark age, if not outright wipe out life for good in the Milky Way.

Now if I remember rightly... I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be the original *original* ending for Mass Effect 3 Remember Tali's recruitment mission? How the sun is aging super fast because of Dark Energy (the same stuff that is manipulated by mass effect fields)? If I remember correctly, that was meant to play a much, much larger role in Mass Effect's storyline, and the crucible was basically a doomsday weapon that would basically destroy the mass relays and release all that energy There was an interview done with one of the writer's like, last year, I think? Or late 2020? But yeah, the original destruction ending was meant to be like this. And I kinda like it, tbh. I mean, I feel like it would make the choice between this and control so much more high-stakes, because as it stands there's no real incentive to do control
Destroy wipes out the Geth and Edi so there is incentive to pick the other endings. As for the dark energy plot line. It would have been really interesting if Karpyshan put in the effort to make it a plot line in the first 2 games but unfortunately he spent a whopping total of 3 minutes of dialogue on it in the in those 2 games so they would have had to cram so much about dark energy into the 3rd game.
@@billypaul1234 most people dont see the geth and edi as that big of a sacrifice in comparison to the other 2. I know the game tries hard to make the player feel empathy for synthetic life, but i think most players disassociate themselves from that when they get to the end. People feel bad but not as bad as they could
Acquire the lowest war asset. In fact, do a worst outcome playthrough right from ME1. Then start the final mission with the lowest war assets. And choose destroy. That way, with poor preparation, the Crucible would be damaged while on transit to dock the Citadel. And when in use, it will backfire, indiscriminately killing even a moderate number of organic races
I feel bad for Miranda, in this playthrough she dated that guy, and he dumped her. WTF? So wrong. Have to say this though, Joker gave 100% right to the very end. Dude is a legend.
This shepard didn't dump out Miranda, simply most likely didn't trigger the renegade interrupt during Henry's confrontation regardless if he got all the flags to save Miranda, otherwise at the 3rd picture it would have been Javik or any other squadmate or Joker instead.
Why does noone know about the 4th ending? This bad of an ending he shouldve shot the holigram. The reapers win in that case, its how you reject all solutions.
There's nothing to show, every planet becomes like Fallout, there are no more governments, leaders, factions etc. left to rebuild the galaxy, just a handful of survivors who probably won't live very long and who will take the memory of the war and their cycle to the grave. Civilization as we know it is pretty much over in the Milky Way with this ending.
This is what happens when the Illusive man only spends 500 credits rebuilding Shepard
Basically if the the million dollar man was the million Cents man.
Shepard: "I will not allow the reapers to destroy all life in the Galaxy"
"I'll do it myself"
This is why they had Andromeda as a backup, in case Milky Way gets totally annihilated

Maaan he basicly continued were saren, died :D
You support Ruzzia you psychopath
This is the indoctrinated Shepard.
Are Joker's' eyes permanently bugged out because he can't unsee that unholy thing calling itself Shepard?
I managed to get this exact ending once by speedrunning the main story, doing zero scanning, etc. It was my "reward" for my reckless Shepard. 😏
MICHAEL NO 🤣
LMFAO I rushed it during my first ever ME3 playthrough
MICHEAL YES

How was a guy walking the battlefield after the crucible razed the entire planet?😂
The only way Liara and James can die in the entire trilogy is if they are in your squad for the final battle and you have low war points.
Well, Liara is like ME simbol, but James? Is this man a god or something?
@@sadndead-hg5rbLmao
That Lazarus Project really did a number on him.
Well, at least I didn’t have to see Tali kill herself at the end of the Rannoch arc, that’s about the only thing that could make this worse lol
Shep lookin’ like Justice from Dragon Age Origins XD.
Also, I had no idea that things could end *that* badly.
LOOL the start with the listing off the names and the face
Task failed successfully.

That's just to short list of your missing crew - at least you can lose both Legion and Tali
Let me tell you something I achieved that ending when I played it first time
Shepard Just Purged Earth
I didn't even know the "everyone gets burnt alive" ending was an option
You know. I had the same reaction, when I saw that Shepard's face. 😂Ugly Shepard is the best way to screw the game over. 😂
Shoulda just let Harbinger assume control.
Right when the Normandy exploded I got a health insurance ad🧑🦼
OH NO 🤣
So basically this ending is the same as best destroy ending from original Mass Effect 3 before the DLC came out to fix the ending.
Pretty sure Miranda finished herself off just to get away from that face....
I gotta give to it to BioWare they made three endings out of 1 ending though
The worst ending is where sheppard decides to do nothing and all life is extinguished followed by Liars message.

Overall this is not the worst ending for the 4 options. The worst ending is the 4th, refuse, which leads to a worse outcome.
