I doubt these were Toshiba, as Toshiba had withdrawn from the Korean market in 2007 due to poor performances. If this hotel is quite old then the original elevators were probably Dong Yang.
This place is Lotte City Hotel Guro and this is nothing to do with TOSHIBA. Because This building was built in 2014. Also, Lotte City Hotel Mapo uses OTIS Elevator.

The hotel was built in 2008 and these lifts are original.
It isn't a modernization at all. Lifts were originally installed in 2009.
