That bottle gets the 800 uses, but would the cap thing still work? I've wondered how many uses the regular cap thing with the membrane uses. Great video!
The S3 sounds like it could handle flood water on a disaster although the "pesticides" label is not very specific. A decent preparedness tool as you said. Thanks for the video, good to learn about these.
the new foam filters are not available via Sawyer Europe, like the normal filters back in the old days lol - as if we didn't have industry and agriculture here ;)
RevHiker That would be even better. Sounds great bud! keep up the great work that you do. Something people may not know where you can help is discussing how to adapt hosing (beyond the one in their kits) to their bladders and where to get them because the one in the not only support the out flow but not the connection in the squeeze kit.
That 1 gallon system is one my favorite pieces of gear from the summer and fall. I think I ruined the filter though. We’ve had a few low 30 degree nights and it’s been sitting in a storage unit since we moved. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these Drew!
Bout to be homeless and I decided to become a traveler instead. Looking through water filter straws and most do not seem to do heavy metals. Really happy to find one with a good review.
hi im in UK. i live in a very heavy agricultural area. im wanting to buy a sawyer mini, but i see it does not filter chemicals, pesticides, and theres drains averywhere coming off of fields into rivers, how can i get round that
Pretty interesting video! But to be honest I wish you would make more videos about your gear, your modifications and your low budget solutions. I think it has been a lot of products on your channel lately with giveaways, reviews and whatnot. Not that I'm not enjoying those as well, but I think the other stuff is more unique to you, and I love hearing your take on it.
but great video though, really! Just feel like you got some much different gear now, and I'm curious to know what you actually bring with you and use on a regular basis!
No problem! also don't want to seem like I'm bashing on these videos! Loved this one :) Happy to see how your channel is growing, somehow feel like I have been part of the journey!!
TheRealBrowk I have definitely changed up my gear over the last few years. I still have some very budget stuff, but I have also slowly acquired some higher end stuff too. My packs are still budget, along with some other stuff, but I have 5 sources of income, and my wife works 2 jobs, so I can splurge now and then
How can something like this, what is put in a bag with the same end wher you suck the contamination in be safe, a couple drops with the contamination could wander to the mouth piece and the dirty touched water on the hand to 🤔
Nice to see Sawyer getting into metal.
Good to see Sawyer stepping up their game.
Armed Rogue it's always good when companies try to push themselves
Great review ... Glad to see virus, pesticides, and heavy metals added!
mrdonelsonglhs it's a great option for those who need that protection👍🏼

i realky would of like to see you use them to show us the flow rates.
Daniel Figueroa I was thinking about doing a video comparing all the flow rates. I think it would be cool to show

question answered later in video
We've made several systems with squeezes for scouts. I'm interested in the bad. It's hard to come by bigger bags.
Sinfonian Barelytone the bag is great. It's a great system, and the wide mouth allows for easy filling
Is the plastic safe ?

Does the S1 filter out red iron oxide?
How did your trip to India go?
How can something like this, what is put in a bag with the same end wher you suck the contamination in be safe, a couple drops with the contamination could wander to the mouth piece and the dirty touched water on the hand to 🤔
why did youtube demonetize your stuff?
Yosef621 my content is somehow not suitable for advertisers...🤔 this one has been demonetized as well... filters are evil...
RevHiker This one? You must be kidding! A competitor IS an advertiser???
Video had a man without a shirt on?
Brian Jenkins I know!
Nathanael Kolb youtube will have to take away all videos where people go swimming...
The only thing I don't like is that it don't filter chemicals.
thorsbeat the foam filters do, but the mini and the squeeze dont
What are 800 uses in liters? 🤔
