Be[4] Vlog: Managing and Reducing Emotional Reactivity with ANSC -- BPD, bipolar disorder, & PTSD

  • In this audio, I use a method called ANSC to work on identifying and managing my issues of emotional reactivity. It takes practice to apply ANSC, but, if you do it correctly, it has strong potential to help you in the heat of the moment.
    Assign meaning to numbers, like I did, and choose the number that you've assigned the meaning "wait" to. Rehearse everything you've assigned to each number with a deck of playing cards and tell your own story with the numbers. If you struggle with emotional reactivity, separate the aspect of you that struggles with emotional reactivity and place it in the [2] category as a separate identity. Also place the compassionate version of you in the [4] category. Practice [2] looking left and choosing [1]. Integrate eye movement. The goal is for [2] to wait and actively reprocess those "trigger" moments.
    This is great for BPD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.
