This worked pretty well. Even though I used a different signal, I had this down inside of 24 hours. The only catch was, watching football last night, every time the ref signaled offside I rolled over.
Love this video. Bogie is so cute when he rolls! I'm going to do this for Gerald my galah. He already likes to be on his back so it shouldn't be too difficult to train.
I follow you on your youtube account and I am very happy with what you give as content with Bogie your beautiful bird Galah. By the way it is very beautiful and in your choice of words to have created your channel you are sincere, you do not take the head to deliver your messages and you are honest with your experience that you live with Bogie. I hope from the bottom of my heart that you will always remain humble and true because of your experience with your bird and I have the feeling that you will always excel at the front because, not only me, will want to follow you in your TH-cam adventure with Bogie. Thank you for your good content , Viczotikflow
Hey thank you SO much for this amazing message. Filming and editing is so much work, comments like this make my day. I try to be as HONEST as possible because i don't want people to impulse buy parrots and then re-home them because my IG makes them look so fun. SO much fun but SO much work and pain (biting) as well haha THANK YOU for watching my video and being supportive. I will always stay humble and true xx
Simply amazing Emily! How did you learn to train Bogey? Have you done this before? I'm always so impressed when you post a new video. You are a GREAT bird teacher ~ maybe the very best!!! It's fun to see y'all enjoying so many things together. Can't wait to see what comes next...
@@flocklife Emily, you a one of the true animal whisperers on the planet. Between your ocean connection, your love of dogs, rabbits, etc., and your birds, especially Bogey, I am truly in awe. On Thanksgiving, I'll be alone, but I will give thanks for having you in my life. You are a treasure. Wishing you, Scotty, and Bogey, a glorious time on Thanksgiving. By the way, have you seen the film "My Octopus Teacher" on Netflix? I know you will love it if you haven't already seen it. Sending love.
Hi please could you do a recipe video on what is meant when you talk about chop it would be very helpful to me to see what a great diet would be for my galah who looks very much like your boggie
I had my galah around 4 days ago, she is 5 months old. She’s comfortable on stepping on my hands to get into and out of the cage.. but how long will it be till she freely comes to me and allows me to hold her around?
you have only had her for 4 days? I would continue building that trust. What diet is she on? That is the first step I would take in the training process. Then you can figure out what her favorite treats are :)
You get so many repeats, what are you using for treats? My galah, Bubbalicious, is aptly nicknamed as he is such a bubble gummer . He can make a single safflower seed last for a minute or more. Chew, chew, more chew. I don’t know why I enjoy watching him eat so much. He’s on the BirdTricks diet and the messy beak makes me laugh.
AMAZING he is on the right diet. Bogie is EXTREMELY treat motivated. He acts like I starve him but he gets to eat as much as he wants lol. Bogie loves safflower seeds, pine nuts, walnuts, almonds, and pecans. Maybe Bubbalicious doesn't love safflower seeds?
@@flocklife He loves the safflower seeds, almonds, spits out walnuts, pine nuts but like macadamia nuts. Leave it to me to find a finicky bird. Keep up the videos. Must say a baby bird is easier than a rescue, but this little guy needed the love.
Yeah I actually do because Bogie is too frantic/agro when he's hungry. Depends on what level of hunger your bird is motivated by. Bogie could have just eaten and would still be very treat motivated
Bogie is so talent
I love how he keeps trying to grab onto your finger. Even at the end! So darn cute
It is totally muscle memory!
Bogie you’re so smart
he is!!
What a talented little dude
You are a pro. First time I heard you call him “Bobo”. No wonder, you’re so proud of him.
