- This episode we're looking at the history of one of the originals. On how her life has gone from good to bad, over and over again within the DC Universe. We're looking at Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl, Oracle and Batgirl again.
Plus we take a look at her new series and how I've reacted to it so far.

Barbara Gordon was always the daughter of James Gordon
she was created as James Gordon's daughter
James Gordon is her single parent
she has a mother and her mother visits her daughter Barbara
Hi, enjoyed your video. Barbara Gordon is one of my all-time favourite characters. About the the whole parentage thing; In her first appearance, she was Jim's daughter. After the Crisis on Infinite Earths event, her origin was changed to that of Jim's niece. However, a few years before the new 52 it was revealed that Jim had had an affair with Barbara's mother and was most likely her biological father. After the new 52 it was changed back to Jim being her father. Hope that clears that up.

I want Barbara Gordon to walk again so badly because how she's been in the wheelchair too long. Myself was suppose to be paralyzed waist down but since birth I by miracle can walk. To see her accomplish that would be huge on me! 😭I would ball like baby just to see her by a miracle on her feet again.
So if I see her on tv like the video said happen to comics her walking again I would be so happy!

+Kristina Logwood It was simply circumstance. Babs was in bed, on a plane with the Birds of Prey and Cassie needed a pick up. But it was cute in the end because despite them being so annoyed with eachother most of the time, they still love each other as "sisters". But yeah I can see your point.
DC has some really good stories and Batman's are the best the killing joke had to be on of the best comic books of all time
