    The filler and methods you used to finish really produced a nice product. I like how it turned out!

    Recently subscribed to your channel. Love your style and the voice of your videos.
    But please, for yourself and those you are inspiring, rock a push stick or two!

      +John Brown thanks man! I think my hand looked closer in this video than it really was. It was at least 4 inches from the blade. I will be making some better push sticks soon, though. The one that came with my saw is junk and I got kickback recently due to using it.

    Great job, can't wait to build one. Nice tools :D
    One suggestion: I was confused what you were doing with the 45s until I saw you put it together, just a quick "this is how I want to construct the box" type comment would have made that a bit smoother. Great production overall, I find myself more and more eager to see what you do next!

    How do you like that table saw fence?

    • @craftedworkshop

      Love it! So much better than the traditional Biesemeyer in my opinion,

      In my shop middle portion would extend into an aisle and cut off access. Doe it get in the way when you're cutting big stuff?

    • @craftedworkshop
      @craftedworkshop  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, you definitely have to manage that. I can go around either side of my table saw so it isn't a huge deal, and I keep the fence closer to the blade when not in use.

    A push stick is cheaper than a finger

    Used to have Ikea lamps, but they would always blow out the bulbs. Regardless of wattage. I believe their brass tabs at the bottom of the socket are cheaply made(no surprise) which results in arcing. So I moved up in the world to Lamps Plus...with no issues. For this project, I would just buy the socket at the hardware store. Don't use Ikea crap for anything. I'm sure not all Ikea stuff is bad, but for me its more misses than hits.

    • @craftedworkshop
      @craftedworkshop  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely, I certainly wouldn't go buy an Ikea lamp just for this. I did totally disassemble the socket and everything seemed to be in order. Thanks for the tips, will definitely check out Lamps Plus!

    Your circuit is unsafe. Exposed metal parts (like the switch you used) need to be grounded. Also, you really should credit your obvious "inspiration", especially if you are going to put a bunch of affiliate links on your video.

    • @craftedworkshop
      @craftedworkshop  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +rockusbacchus what obvious inspiration is that? Not sure what you're referring to.
