This is the one thing I don't like about the UK show. The chairs do not turn after the performance. Contestants that don't get a chair turn need that interaction more than anyone. First, they have the opportunity to meet the coaches and have a once in a lifetime experience. 2- They need the feedback, advise and encouragement. 3- If they come back next year, the coaches won't recognize them and won't be able to have personal recognition and an observation of growth in their performance. The UK show has contestants leaving in tears sometimes. It not right.
He definitely deserved a pass. Completely authentic voice color, recognizable. This guy would grow from episode to episode. It's a shame that the coaches didn't recognize his value. Not everyone has to sing perfectly, there is something above that.

Each person deserves to/should be acknowledged by the judges and given feed back at the very least , being completely ignored is just rude .
