What a clever idea to put that candle inside your glass tree! Love the effect.
It was honestly one of those ‘planets aligning, angles singing’ moments when I started to realise the candle would fit and when I also realised the base was just paper and could easily be removed I did a little internal happy dance 🤣🤣 sometimes the joy is in the littlest of moments 🥰

Thank you 🙏 I’m so glad you enjoyed it! The tree topper was from John Lewis (UK department store) but I know they’re out of stock now. When I was looking for that style I searched online for ‘Sputnik style Christmas tree topper’ and that seemed to give me the best results!

Lynn, I found myself talking to you and answering your questions throughout the video. LOL This video was very interesting, to see your decorating style and thought process. I love the warm pooling lights on the floor. I think that I may snag that idea for next year. I live in the states, so it was interesting to see how decor is similar, though the shops are very different. LOL As to buying a pre-light or unlit tree, I think that you made the right decision with the unlit tree. A few years ago, our lights died on our tree. The tree is still fine, so I am still using the tree. Less fodder for the landfill. Removing the old lights was VERY time consuming! As to 20%, subscription rate, I subscribed midway through that very first first video. I hope that your channel continues to grow. I downloaded and printed your checklists, on sticker paper, to put in my planner. I relied on your series to get organized for Christmas. I too fell off the wagon of wrapping. Thankfully, I had wrapped my husband's few gifts. He is helping me with the other wrapping. My daughter picked up the few things that I needed to shop for. Since I got COVID, all the detailed lists and prep work that I had done, kept me from falling into despair. I am having a surprisingly stress free and enjoyable season. Not being able to bake for gift giving has greatly enhanced or reduced my workload (depending on how you look at it.) This year won't be perfect, but you commented that it didn't have to be. (I am resting in that permission.) I hope that your channel continues to grow. You are a natural in front of the camera! Thank you for inviting us into your home. Merry Christmas.
