I have an interview tomorrow. I definitely needed this. Sometimes even when we know what we want to say, words don't come in mind. Thank you for this video.
This was me two weeks ago. I didn't know the answer and I was stuck. No clue at all about the answer. Thank God I was scheduled for stage two of the interview. I would say after watching this video, I have learned a lot and will practice for my next interview. Thank you so much, Annmarie.
Thank you so much for this vital information though I have not been invited for an interview with these Enlightenment I am getting confident that I will make it when the time comes
Hi Annemarie, Interesting lesson about how to face difficult situations in interview time. I admire your suggestions and follow for better performance. Thank you.
Thanks for the tips about answering difficult questions in a job interview, Annemarie. You are an amazing teacher. I am sure I will benefit from watching your videos.😊😊
Wonderful! I am about to appear in a Job Interview soon. This will help me. Teacher, strategy no.4 does not work in all situations. However, a learned experience with you. Thanks
Thank you so much!! I used your expression during the job interview and guess what!? I got second interview! Your video is really helpful for non native english speaker to use English in more natural and professional way 🥰
@@Speakconfidentenglish Sadly, I wasn't selected. :( because I spoke a little of non-sense during the second interview compared to the first one. but It was great experience for me! I will try harder by watching your videos! :D Thank you!
Sometimes, the interviewer ask questions that don't exist. Recently I appeared for an interview, and the member asked some terms. I heard those for the first time. I asked member to repeat question then I replied that I am hearing those terms for the first time. And he said OK 😊
I'm a little confused here because for Strategy No 4, in some situations if we don't reply exactly to what has been asked, some interviewers tell us to stop beating aroud the bush and then to stick to the point or the question.
Great question, Kimchi. You're right that you should answer the specific question that was asked. But as you answer, you can include the skills you do have. Here's a really simple example to clarify: Let's say a company uses Apple Numbers (which is similar to Excel) and the interviewer asks about using this software. You can include in your answer that: "In my last job we used Excel exclusively so I'm very familiar with charting data in that format. In fact, I was asked to train others on my team to improve their use of Excel. I'm certain I'll be able to begin using Numbers easily and with the same level of expertise." In this same answer, the focus is on what you do know and how you can use that for what's needed in the job. I hope this helps.
I have a request. I love your content. There is no doubt about your content and your knowledge. Whatever you speak feels perfect. Very articulate but in a simple way, which is very important for ESL students. You got the perfect grip about what is required and what and how to explain. My request is can you speak a little faster.. not much but a little fast. I know you speak that way so it will be easy to grasp it as actual american accent is not understandable for many. You can speak by emphasizing on words but a little fast. I want to buy your programs to become more articulate and expressive but my problem is I feel very impatient that I cant finish the video. I have learned my most English via watching american TV shows. So I am used to the speedy accent now. May be because of this I feel restless while listening slow speech. Please dont get wrong, im sure and hope you understand. I respect you very much. Its like I found a treasure but cant utilize it because you speak very slow. You do what you gotta do. I just wanted to express myself and appreciate your work since long time. Thankyou.
Hi, thanks for the comment and request. To be quite honest, the way I speak in the videos is how I usually speak in my daily normal life with my friends and family. I'm a big believer in clear communication, not fast communication. The same is true with fluency. Fluency doesn't mean speaking fast, it means expressing yourself smoothly and clearly. That's what I focus on. I'm thrilled that you like my content and, again, I appreciate the comment.
Interview in 2020 , using online platform. When u don't know what to answer or u want to buy the time, just pretend to being lag, as they then will think oh maybe he had line problems 😌😂
I want to work at Canada airport, iam dreaming about that. And 2hen I go to the interview. I was so shy because iwas afraid to do mistakes. Finally I lost it 😭😭
Dear Mam I have a question Please Public property is a property that is dedicated to public use and is owned by the government and people of the country jointly . In above sentence it is in present tense but here dedicated and owned are use which are past indefinite so Mam why they have not use dedicate and own words instead of dedicated and owned plz reply
"dedicated" and "owned" in past tense is due to this has and is already taking place. Also because "is" comes from the verb "to be" and in English if you have a sentence where a sentence has the word "is" you can remember that the verb after that will not be a present tense. So therefore,
"dedicated" and "owned" in past tense is due to this has and is already taking place. Also because "is" comes from the verb "to be" and in English if you have a sentence where a sentence has the word "is" you can remember that the verb that it relates to will not be present tense. And because the sentence in this case sounds like a law or rule, and has always been like this, therefore maybe it is written in past tense.
Please, how did you send a thank you letter to interviewers when you didn't deal with them directly. I mean agency send me to interview, and I don't have information about the company who interview me

It's so tough..
