Exactly. Yet Britney’s raw vocals often sound better on her songs (as well as others) than the polished ones. Probably not on songs like this one where she white knuckled it and the rest was what they always accused her of in the past…studio trickery. Her actual talent is offensively underrated
I love a good mix between Britney’s real voice (albeit w the mandatory pitch correction of this day and age) and parts w layering and vocal effects. The chorus and bridge needed layering and effects to be magical but I feel like the verse sung like this was better than the original verse! Bc her soulful voice fits the verses better! If they did something lighter, like in Stronger, where her voice was more full, while still manipulated, I would like the song even more!
I was thinking along these effects. I feel the verses don’t fit too low for her register. Sounds like she is trying to sing way too low. Most Pop songs are if a lighter range due to lighter notes.
The key point here is not having the voice in the main reverb. That produced the exact "she just put her voice on an instrumental" sound Other than that, she doesn't seems to know the song well, I did lot of demos with my singer, and I can totally relate
I love This Version & i am going to download it & put it into my Itunes so i can listen to it & put it in 1 of my playlist in my Itunes & I Really LOVE Britney & Have seen her in concert & I have always said in her 22 years in the music industry she has NEVER Reinvented herself Like Madonna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, P!nk, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson ECT. They've all changed their looks & the style of music & Britney sounds. I think if Britney came out with a new album with out any Auto-Tune, Just her natural voice like this Demo & a completely different look I think it would be a huge hit. The Auto-Tune is getting so tired & old & NOT just with Britney but 99% of the singers especially the new singers are way to Auto-Tuned. WE ALL KNOW Britney doesn't sing live in concert "Again I saw her live & was so close to her" & when she was up close you could see her lips didn't match the song BUT Britney has a really good voice so i would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Britney album with no Auto-Tune & just her natural voice.

Myah Marie did only background vocals for Circus (single). Then she also did some for Femme Fatale. Britney Jean no comment, because Britney sang only Don't Cry, Perfume, Alien (except chorus), rest is Myah.

damn guys its not hard to detect britney's voice. This Raw vocals are Britney 100%, myah has different details on her voice. Its easy to hear Myah's voice on songs like passenger from Britney Jean.
The British alter (who I adore 🥰) has made many appearances in her songs. People will say it’s not Britney, disregarding the fact that she has multiple personalities. It’s not even possible that she doesn’t. She herself has admitted to having lapses in memory, many times. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s not her fault. It’s a coping mechanism. Perverts and greed did that to her. I’m glad she is able to protect herself and separate herself from the extreme mental and physical trauma I know she has experienced.

Absolutely never. Delay and pitch-correction are modern requirements for pop. Actual RAW vocals are probably for something experimental.
