High risk, high reward? (Infantry Bow x4 Damage Curse)

I very much enjoy the damage curses. Something I used to avoid like fire now I embrace as a challenge.
If I didn't mess up the parry it could've been a more satisfying video x(
Played on v25 beta, thus the icon above the mutations. An aspect Damned - Cursed chest rate doubled. When cursed you don't die, but take and deal x2 damage.
Aspects are optional perks that can be equipped at the start of a run. They make the run significantly easier at the cost of unlocking new Boss Stem Cells and unlocking a flawless boss achievement. (deadcells.fand...)

yeah haha disengagement really saved me there, always good to have it with glass canon builds.
trust me, i still suck at the game but i just am more experienced in it. you'll get there man :)

@@DamageMaximo while he might be better at the game then you, it's the same feeling. Unless people can no hit bosses consistently, we will always feel like we suck at dead cells

I always feel a bit upset when people speed through the game and reach god tier power at the very end of the game while I can barely make it to the second boss...
And then I remember I have only played the game for a grand total of ~6 hours with 3 of those hours at LEAST just dicking around with level 1 firebrands.

If I can reach endgame on Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+, I can do it in Dead Cells. One of them is just throwing yourself at a wall until you break through, and the other is the same thing except if you aren't lucky you have to reset anyway or you won't have a chance.

Imagine this with heavy crossbow
when I was on 0BC I had a heavy crossbow with 10000 damage and like 15k crit, I 5shot hand of the king

I remer when i found legendary clow.at end of run at queen i had 100000 critical damage on second claw.

x4 Damage weapons are always such a treat; got a Colorless x4 FireBlast a couple days ago, I was full Survival/Green so I just couldnt miss the opportunity... I think I got 1 shot on Lighthouse 30 seconds later T-T
Also same, was terrified of Extra Damage Curses when I first saw them, until I got an x2 Cursed Sword and saw how wonderful the game felt when you 1 shot everything, definitely a challenge that almost always ends in *death!* Either way, happy adventures and gl on your runs!

i think x4 damage fire blast wouldn't be good as it needs charging, only fast firing x4 weapons are good

I just defeated hotk on 1 BC yesterday, that was heart wrenching for me, even thought I was custom mode with achievements disabled.

A way to bypass the achievement thing is enable a bunch of off color weapons they don’t interfere in shops so it works just the same

@@lucaspaixao3808 it's "Damned" aspect. Cursed chests spawn rate is doubled. Curses don't kill you anymore, but double the damage you receive (and deal? Don't remember that part).
