Even as the world burned around him, he remained. For another thousand years he grew. He endured. And every single slow year he was tormented with the memories of what could have led to the end of evil in the world. Every. Gosh. Dang. Year…. And after all that, can you really blame him for having such little faith in Men? Elrond has his own little story… actually, it’s quite a bit story. It makes it even harder that he might lose his daughter too. Through all this despair and strife, he finally comes around. And 500 Elves march to Helms Deep to fight alongside Men once again. Elrond really went through a lot.

I also was thinking that he reminded me of Leetah from Elfquest in the healer sense and also that they both had to be apart from their lifemates, and I wonder if she would be sad like him if her children all died. Elrond is one of my ENFJ heroes if not the most. His ability to impart wisdom in such a familiar manner, bringing himself to someone else's wavelength, was second to none. What a legend. He's the epitome of the wise sage ENFJ I'd like to become. When I was first typed professionally by CPT as an ENFJ I wasn't happy but the more I thought about it the more it fit, yet I feel burdened with responsibility; I was always mature for my age, sometimes that caused me not to fit in with other kids but now as an adult I feel comfortable in my own skin.
My mother language isn't english, but I'll try write. If we see the final result (finished movie The Hobbit) few minutes whit Elrond we want give him a hug; few minutes with Thranduil we want give him a punch at face. Ok, the Thranduil of the book is more honorable and Lee Peace is wonderful (I love too), but first I love Hugo like Elrond.
