Fantastic Work! Always love seeing more Mario Kart. Really love the texture work in this course, the heavier saturation in the colors draws a pretty stark contrast to the more muted tones Nintendo used in the Zelda series. Lots of personality in the geometry too, drawing inspiration from Rare titles while still representing Hyrule Field very well.

So many positive things to say about this, but I’ll just pick one: It actually looks REALLY fun to play. I think it’s surprisingly hard to capture the magic of a fun track in Mario Kart. Really amazing stuff here!!!

Honestly, I could praise the work done to this stage, but I'll just say this. Great job on the mini map. Not often modded stages have any at all.

I'd love to see MK64 ported to DKR. Using a modified Peach's Castle as the hub.
This is legit incredible and now I can't help but wonder what a full Mario Kart 64 jiggies of time conversion would look like.

I didn't know you made a Mario Kart 64 track with Litronom, but Litronom told me about this today. I really like the track and think it's cool that it's so open and big. The eighth red coin was very nasty hidden though haha
Very neat! The Red Coin challenge kind of reminds me of the Silver Coin Challenge back in Diddy Kong Racing.

Glad MK64 mods are finally real. I remember back when thinking it was odd seeing the newest (at the time)MKWii getting custom maps and we had to play them on consoles since our PCs were weak sauce for dolphin. I remember wishing MK64 had mods back then. Old times!

Check the Mario kart discord, link is in decsription. For this Mod I was helped by a Mario kart modder, I just designed the track and made the 3D model, and he did all the hard work

Yeah, the CPU drivers can even drive through walls, when you're not looking

@@blacksunshine7485 Thanks so much! I designed and modeled this track, but I needed help from an MK modder (Litronom) because I still don't know how to use the MK64 tools, so I didn't want to bother him with more tracks. But in the future I would like to learn by myself and do some more!

mama mia! is this what is happening next after the Stay Home BK mod? i kinda hope so, i've not seen a Mario Kart 64 hack really and i bet you could set the standard.
When Stay At Home is done I would like to try and do a few more tracks on my own, single-handed. But we'll see
I don't suppose anybody knows of an HD texture pack to just clean up the HUD and racers? Seeing the track upscaled, but the racers are just as blurry as ever is a bit disappointing.
There are people working on that for a MK64 HD version I think
Tell me though what you need in order to even hack mario kart 64, I know how to hack super Mario 64’s textures and make my own custom levels, but I’ve never learned how you can make custom Mario kart 64 race tracks
I also don't know how to modify Mario Kart for now, for this Mod I was helped by a MK64 modder called Litronom. Check Mario Kart Discord community for more info about MK64 modding tools, link is in description.
I like this course a lot but the music could use some improvement. It’s a bit noisy compared to other tracks in the game.

Having trouble with the patch. xdelta keeps saying checksum mismatch. My rom file says Mario Kart 64 1.1 US. Do I have the wrong rom?
