I'm a very big fan of Ben Shapiro and his insistence that arguments should be based on reason. One of the things that I think he is blind to is that we no longer live in a society where that ideal is possible for most men. He mentioned not being oppositional to women, but the problem of complexity makes it very hard to figure out what type of woman you're dealing with, so going into a marriage with the best of intentions may not work out well for you today as it did for him and for others in the recent past. Ironically, it was going through Jordan Peterson's personality course that made me aware how important the perspective you come from influences how you see the world. Ben simply cannot see the problem the way Tate sees it because Tate has seen how easy it is to manipulate women, and when you see that there's no way you can trust them.

The solution to not getting a divorce is very simple. Though I don't really know, because I don't follow Tate too closely, I think he is very charming, and physically impressive in real life. He is likely quite quick witted and knows how to speak with people. I think given that, George likes him personally, and he (George) is a good man that aims to defend the people that he likes. Unfortunately, I also believe that Tate is likely a scam artist at the very least. I don't know what he's done to/with women, or what exactly the facts are regarding his court case, but I have definitely seen enough for myself to understand that he takes advantage of people. It’s an exaggeration to say he’s a danger to men, and a bad role model. From what I’ve gathered, I’d say Idolizing an “extreme” methodology of “masculinity” will often result in those men landing somewhere in the middle, right where they need to be. 99% of men will not reach the level of masculinity Ben regards as “harmful.” Would really love to see both of them sit down, and have a civil conversation. No runarounds to any issues or topics brought up, conversation with every issue and topic addressed directly. I'm a very big fan of Ben Shapiro and his insistence that arguments should be based on reason. One of the things that I think he is blind to is that we no longer live in a society where that ideal is possible for most men. He mentioned not being oppositional to women, but the problem of complexity makes it very hard to figure out what type of woman you're dealing with, so going into a marriage with the best of intentions may not work out well for you today as it did for him and for others in the recent past.
Ironically, it was going through Jordan Peterson's personality course that made me aware how important the perspective you come from influences how you see the world. Ben simply cannot see the problem the way Tate sees it because Tate has seen how easy it is to manipulate women, and when you see that there's no way you can trust them.

The solution to not getting a divorce is very simple. Don’t marry a horrible person, be devoted to that person, share common values, go to church regularly, let the man be the head of the household, invest in each other, etc.

I think Tate is good in because he has developed his physical side first (Gym, kickboxing, getting wealthy, having women and cars) I think that is all okay up to a certain point. When you have achieved these worldly things you should start cultivating the spiritual side of you and here people like Shapiro and Peterson have a role to play. In a role model I like for a person who has developed there physical, psychological and spiritual side. The issue is there are not many and all three fall short. MEN should become whole not perfect. Shapiro and Peterson are mere intellect, which is not the only dimension of being a man.
Being a man is being able to protect and provide(or try your very best) your family and community. You uphold morals and values and teach them to your children through words and action. Tate is in his what late 30s and hasn’t worked towards any of this. He spent his 20s and 30s manipulating men and women, committing crimes etc. I understand people make mistakes but these arent mistakes. These are choices. No mature principled woman could ever look at t and see a good partner and no father would want Tate to be with his daughter.

Though I don't really know, because I don't follow Tate too closely, I think he is very charming, and physically impressive in real life. He is likely quite quick witted and knows how to speak with people. I think given that, George likes him personally, and he (George) is a good man that aims to defend the people that he likes. Unfortunately, I also believe that Tate is likely a scam artist at the very least. I don't know what he's done to/with women, or what exactly the facts are regarding his court case, but I have definitely seen enough for myself to understand that he takes advantage of people. George explained it well. Ben can’t seem to grasp the concept, or rather, he refuses to. Tate does in fact, push back past the point needed in order to really drive the point home. He saw the extreme side of feminizing men and decided to be the opposite. Ben argues that isn’t necessary, and gives himself and Jordan Peterson as examples. I listen to all of them, but Ben needs to understand that not everyone will go about attacking the same issue in the exact same manner. Just because they don’t go about it the same way as you, does not mean they are incorrect. He also needs to understand there’s a large group of men who listen to Tate, and don’t aspire to have a harem of women and smoke cigars with their shirts off (weak argument btw), but greatly appreciate his presence and methods of motivation. I do think he needs to come to terms that Tate’s methods of motivation are vastly different, and even more effective, than that of his own or his peers. I listen to all three, and went to see Dr. Peterson in Chicago, but I do feel as if Ben feels rather threatened by Tate’s demeanor and methodology. It’s an exaggeration to say he’s a danger to men, and a bad role model. From what I’ve gathered, I’d say Idolizing an “extreme” methodology of “masculinity” will often result in those men landing somewhere in the middle, right where they need to be. 99% of men will not reach the level of masculinity Ben regards as “harmful.” Would really love to see both of them sit down, and have a civil conversation. No runarounds to any issues or topics brought up, conversation with every issue and topic addressed directly.
