Such a lovely season! Definetely all the moments between Kate and Anthony and also the scenes with the entire Bridgerton family. The whole show is beautiful
I never thought that I would find myself rooting for Portia, but my goodness I was screaming at the end when she unveiled her ultimate scheme to protect herself and her daughters from ruin. She earned my respect.
For a moment I truly thought she'd be taken in my him but she remained focused and clear on providing for herself as she first stated. She just needs to make some keen investments that could secure money for the modiste for generations.
@@盧璘壽로인수 in books Edwina wanted a scholar for herself so there was a man called Mr bagwell who she meets up with when Kate and Anthony announce there betrothal so she ends up with him.
I’m sad that you missed Violet getting Daphne out of an engagement from Lord Burbrooke and puts Anthony in his place in season 1 when she tells him she knows about Sienna. I love it when the mother’s play the game the best.
I think it might've been beaten by the other entries on this list. But you're absolutely right about Violet saving her eldest daughter from an unpleasant marriage and lecturing her son about his responsibilities. I always loved Viscountess Violet Bridgerton( Best Bridgerton mother ever, hands down! ❤), but She became one of my favorite characters in Bridgerton after she saved Daphne from having to marry that creepy Lord Berbrooke.
Oh man, Lady Mary Sharma (Kate's and Edwina's mother) should have been on the list. Even if just an honourable mention. She went against society and her parents to marry for love, loved Kate as her own. Although she was quiet and let Kate take over, she recognised her shortcoming and apologised to Kate. I quite liked her.
I loved Daphne's checking of Anthony this season "These decisions that you make and then resent us for... they do not make you worthy of your family's respect. They make us pity you" I screamed when she said that because Anthony was in this self-inflicted and self-indulgent pity party the whole season when nobody else was demanding anything from him. Then he called everyone else selfish for him not being able to simply be honest with himself and go after what he wanted.
how was the scene of the ladies digging up dirt on berbrooke and spreading it around town in order to protect daphne not even an honourable mention?? It shows how they were able to use a stereotype of women of the time to their advantage in stopping a predator
Whoever was the casting director for this show, hats off to you. All of the ladies are amazing, I love that despite the times they're not afraid to be who they are, and the actress who portray them are perfect. I read the whole series and I can't wait to continue the ladies' stories
My number 1 moment was Portia saying "I already have a team, .... I am a mother".. now there is a woman...wow ... my number 2 is Eloise and Penelope confrontation... excellent.. honest jarring
people dont like the featheringtons but Lady Portia Featherington couldve been a force to reckoned with if only she was married to the right man with the resources she needs. I like her
People don't like her because her character is self serving and judgmental. Meanwhile Violet Bridgerton and their family is respected and sought after because they are genuinely good people.
Shame the time Kate and Edwina danced together after their heart to heart wasn't there (in the end of S2)... And (just before her standing up for herself with Kate and Anthony) when Edwina calmed down the King, it showed both her inner strength, and her incredible empathy and compassion. That's S2. When it comes to S1... when Daphne punched the creep, and when Daphne connected with Marina after her confrontation with Collin, understanding why Marina did what she did. Those come to my mind immediately at least.
#4 What is sad is that Edwina doesn't understand that Kate didn't really know what she was doing when she did what she did. It was more that she wanted to give Edwina what she thought would be a good life.
When I saw Edwina in the thumbnail pic I assumed her scene would be when she handled that fraught moment with the King (also on the same day as her jilted wedding), definitely earning Queen Charlotte’s respect and gratitude for life. She SHONE, it was her most diamond-y moment of the season. Altho the scene with Kate was indeed beautiful and empowering and gorgeously performed. And as for Portia, I YELLED at that reeeaaaadddd, omg 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Especially the “I am, a MOTHER.” Love me a mama bear. She really told that fool to go somewhere and never talk to her or her daughters ever again. And another scene I would include, the flashback when Violet gives Anthony that monologue about how she’s “doing [her] best” while still deep in her grief. Oof, that was amazing. Ruth DID, THAT.
I thought that storyline was going somewhere else. Her husband's interest in talking to colin and marina's facial expressions made me think something more was going on
I honestly found that scene a bit harsh. Even if Colin was stuck in the past she had no business telling him that she doesn’t need his forgiveness. She honestly was about to do a very wrong thing with Colin by trying to trap him, the least she could do is be humble about it
How did Lady bridgerton and her housekeeper and maids not make the list? The part where they managed to get info out of burbrookes maids about his illegitimate child with a maid? And then making sure whistledown got ahold of it?
Girl earned my respect there and added so much depth to her character (who I think is meant to be a foil to Violet). I hope we get more exploration of her character especially with Pen in S3
This is Portia being ahead of her time. The only thing that would have made her more 21st century is adding a word she cud not use but we freely can. "I'm a mother, bitch!" This could have gone so many ways, with her cowering to society and fear in all of them. She went full beast mode. Ppl may hate her and think her a villain, but the women is doing the best she can in a situation that gives her no power. And she did one hell of a job. She's not perfect but she loves her children. You go Mama Bear!
I do love this list, Ms. Mojo, but I wish it could have been 11 Times the Ladies of Bridgerton Stole the Show. *HOW could you not include the SUPERB acting of Violet Bridgerton when they showed the flashback of her husband dying?!* OMG, I was overcome with the magnificence of her performance! I still love this list though!!! 🤗🥰👍🏽
I STRIVE every day to carry myself with such self-assuredness and overall confidence as the amazing actress who portrays Lady Danbury exudes. She's a Queen of her own power and still very aware and empathic of others.
Lady Portia Featherington is badass! She’s smart and sly but I love how she always puts her daughters first! When it turned out she was the puppet master of the scheme I was so satisfied. She does anything she can to protect herself and her family name from ruin
I was really sad when Eloise and Penelope had that massive bust-up. Really hope they reconnect and become friends again in season 3. They're my two favourite characters.
And what about the scene after the wedding between the king and the queen, when Edwina stepped in and calmed him with kind and wise words? I was hoping that would be on the third or ever second place of this list. That was incredibly strong moment.
The sisterhood between Kate & Edwina was really missing, seeing them fight over a man was really not it! (and it wasn't even in the book, such a pity how they focussed on the love triangle and took away from Kathony). Love, love, love Lady Danbury! And the scene between Siena & Lady Delacroix!
There's a mistaken assumption that they fought over a man. Edwina wanted Anthony. Anthony wanted Kate. Kate wanted Anthony but she never placed her wishes over that of her sister's. She was selfless in that respect. The reason why there's bad blood between Kate and Edwina is because Kate wasn't honest with her about her feelings for the viscount which made Edwina feel like a fool. The reason why Edwina was angry with Kate is because Kate was taking decisions on Edwina's behalf and disregarding her own feelings. Please, let's get this right. If we're talking about proper love triangle, then twilight is the standard. Bridgerton's love triangle has to do with sisterly love and romantic love
@@Amy-cn4gl Thank you for your response. They actually claimed this themselves in their interviews, describing it as having passion & love for Kate and being endeared by Edwina. I counted the scenes. In the first episodes we see Anthony & Edwina first bond over their father's deaths (ep 1) and bond over their differences during tea (ep 3); whereas all Kanthony scenes are bickering & fighting over courting Edwina (barring ep1, I love those 2 Kanthony scenes in ep1). There is still no in depth conversation between them focused on the two of them (all convos are focussed on him courting Edwina) in ep 2 and 3. The first real conversation they have - not focused on Edwina- is in the library when he opens up (ep 4) but it was so short. Before this she comforted him during his panic attack, but no scenes of emotional connection build up to that moment. So the love triangle seemed very much there. And the big fight between Edwina & Kate, yes she is angry that Kate lied (you are right), but still they are showing two sisters fight after a failed wedding scene. And when she said "halfsister" I was just heartbroken. And i guess you're right in the sense that, it should've been that way, but I was really missing on emotional connection scenes of Kanthony for too many episodes into it while they were showing Edwina & Anthony connecting.
@@vvpawar23 I did not miss that. Those bonding moments are much more apparent in the book, not so much in the show. The first conversation about their responsibilities is by the end of Pall Mall in ep3 in relation to courting Edwina. And then the library scene in ep4 about their fathers, which was very short. It becomes more apparent in later episodes, but in-depth conversations focussed on their emotional connection is something I really missed in the first episodes, esp compared to him connecting with Edwina.
@@lie1272 when did he connect with Edwina!? They talked about their father's once! You call that connection!? Also yes I've read the books and they needed to explore more of kathony's relationship and bonding over trauma, yes. But you saying Anthony and Edwina bonded over many things, when? Did we saw completely different shows?
Kate Bridgerton & Eloise Bridgerton Supremacy! I get Queen vibes from them. ❤️ Also Edwina the character both from the books and show is the sweetest & purest gem. ❤️
I feel like you have missed the #1. Lady Mary setting her parents straight at the dinner table while simultaneously showing love for her daughters. ..my my my this is certainly beyond the pale.
I appreciate pretty much every line of what Marina said, except for when she declined Cohen’s forgiveness… What she did to him was particularly cold (I felt like that type of trickery was cruel even). Then again maybe a cold person would not feel the need for forgiveness
I feel like she thought if she accepted his forgiveness he'd hold out hope that of a romantic relationship, like if she gave him an inch he'd take a mile.
Yeah she seems to love to point out the others are childish in comparison to her (she did it in season 1 with Pen and then in season 2 with Colin). She tried leg-shackling the poor guy in marriage when she already had a bun in the oven, she should have told him he didn't need to apologise because she was the one in the wrong.
I don't think Eloise is actually jealous of Penelope, I think she was truly shocked and hurt to discover her identity. Also I never witnessed a situation when Eloise looked down on Pen, so I'm thinking she's just projecting her insecurity and stress onto Eloise to kick her off the horse that she thinks Eloise is riding
@@yoooox4She was not jealous. Atleast, not at that time. Maybe after she would feel something like that and she definitely doesn't hate her because of that jealousy. I think she still reveres whistledown for making something in this era but she hates the face behid it. Yes she loved Whisledown in S1 because she loved that a woman was running a business in that era. But after Marina's scandal even she said whistledown got a little far this time. She wanted to find the writer so she can make her do something good about Featheringtons. Then at the start of S2, she realises that all whistledown does is repeat the gossip. She now wanted to find the writer so that they could write something about Empowering women. She was angry at Pen because she felt betrayed and maybe even stupid at how she trusted Pen to tell everything, even her discoveries about Whistledown, that how every time she was a little bit closer, she was thrown off course. How would u feel when u r desperately trying to find some secret and u later know that your best friend knew that the whole time. She probably would have thought how Pen would be laughing all those times at her, while she was trying so hard to find her. Ofcourse she felt betrayed, stupid, maybe a little bit used. I am not saying she was right. Both were wrong in some ways, both were not being true friend to each other in some ways. No one was fully innocent and no one was villain.
Hold on!!! What about the time when they vicountess shatters Nigel's reputation!!! That was badass !! and she took advantage of society like it was nothing!!
unpopular opinion, but i believe edwina's character, the actress who played her did a better job in regards to acting, the actress who played kate, I kind of noted some emotional scenes where her acting fell short, like that scene when she says you vex me, just her facial expression was so overacted to me, but edwina's actress, charithra I believe is her name, she was amazing in emotional scenes, whether its anger, frustration, insecurity, feeling overwhelmed, her facial expressions were so well done I could tell what the character was thinking and feeling just by her face, her acting impressed me the most.
I don’t think it’s unpopular ….an astute observation, I loved Charithra’s acting too; she, Jonathan and the actress who played Portia were marvelous in their depiction, very nuanced.
How differently can Kate say 'vex me' when it's unable for her to breathe when he is around, they've clearly shown it many times they go out of breath when they are with each other and they have this sexual tension going on between them, it's irritating and exhausting for her to be around him so out of frustration she says that she hates Anthony and to me her facial expressions were right, they both are acting they hate each other but deep inside they're equally sexually frustrated and have feelings for each other.
Personally one of my favourite moments was when Lady Bridgerton and her maids single-handedly sent Lord Berbrooke packing by getting his secrets out of his mother's maid and then spreading them to everyone they could.
Except when she called Kate “half sister” knowing very well how much that would’ve hurt her… Kate made mistakes, but people forget that she felt compelled to become the backbone of her family after her father died and the adoptive mother was grieving. She could not process the mourning because she felt heavily on her shoulders the responsibility of keeping her family and her sister's upbringing up. I feel that Edwina never noticed that Kate felt she had to earn her family's love day after day because she wasn't blood related to Mary and didn't feel she was worthy of being loved. A good sister would never have called her older sister that way, especially after everything Kate did for them, because she should have remembered that Kate lost both parents, but despite everything she did her best to make sure the sister received the best education (she took care of it in person) and that their mother received an adequate income. Now Edwina knows that she should’ve never doubt of her sister’s love for her.
This list needs rearranging...Portia is number 1 with Edwina being number 2 and so many strong moments as well as honourable mentions you missed. They were so many stronger scenes than the ones picked out.
i love Kate, Eloise, Daphne, Violet, queen charlotte, lady Danbury :D and Kate Sharma is my favorite woman character ^^ And Anthony is my favorite men Anthony is just Anthony haha i like him^^
I'd swap Lady Danbury's and Portia's positions. Although I liked how Portia put Jack in his place what Lady Danbury did for Simon deserves more recognition.
Not only that but Lady Danbury truly cares about him. Look at how Portia has always treated Penelope, no caring there! So cold to her daughter, it's disgusting. That alone makes it hard for me to give her too much recognition!
I like Edwina’s response when Anthony tries to pass off one of Benedict’s poems as his, then stops halfway through and admits he didn’t write it. Kate turns to her sister and basically says, “See? I told you so,” and Edwina responds with, “Does his admission make him a bad man or an honest one?” It’s the first time we see Edwina actually stand up to her sister, and it shows she’s less of the milquetoast than portrayed and actually has real character of her own.
Isn't Edwina ridiculous to ask Anthony if he loves her on her wedding day? she admitted that Anthony didn't look at her enough! Kate has always alerted her sister to the viscount's intentions: he will never be in love with Edwina. Edwina can't say her sister lied to her.
edwina can't be strong in actually listening to what Kate and Anthony were telling her all along! Anthony told her he wasn't offering love and Kate told her the same thing sooo
Portia is the character you love to hate. :D You failed to mention when Violet checks Anthony about his handling of Daphne's potential husband. What was that Clod's name ...? Lord Berbroke. Absolute YUCK! :p That was the first show of how the women of that time knew how to do a an end run by the station life has given them. I agree with Edwina telling both Anthony and Kate off after the failed wedding. All except it should have been closer to #1. ;) Also, Penelope using her original accent to disguise herself was Brilliant. :D PS. I can't stand Kate. (smh)
Sienna is the most underrated character. I honestly wanted them to end up together. I know it would be controversial but that would make a great romeo and Juliet like story. Kate and Anthony were great too and hate me all you want but if it wasn’t for family pressure he would have never taken any interest in Kate at all. He met Sienna on his own, not at a ‘courtship’ ball. She obviously wasn’t just someone Anthony wanted to fool around with if he wasn’t seeing her all the time
Portia only stayed behind because she had the leverage if she aint have nothing portia would be right in new york looking at knocking on mrs astor door ……..iykyk
I really admire Edwina’s strength to forgive Kate so quickly. I know that most ppl are rooting for Kate (including me before the bee sting scene) but what she did to her own sister was just wrong… Edwina got shamed and disowned by her own grandparents in front of everyone, humiliated at the altar in front of the QUEEN and the whole ton, all because she trusted her sister so much that she became that oblivious and naive. She remained kind, sweet, and intelligent throughout the entire season but still got ruined. Edwina’s rage at the end was completely understandable tbh Kanthony was only fun for me to watch up until the bee sting scene 🌝

It was a tough world for women but she came up on top.
Same! I was flabbergasted to see her "falling" for the nephew's flattery, and in the end she was the puppet master all along! Well done Portia!

And i guess you're right in the sense that, it should've been that way, but I was really missing on emotional connection scenes of Kanthony for too many episodes into it while they were showing Edwina & Anthony connecting.
@@lie1272 well they bond over responsibilities as first born and death of their fathers, how can you miss such major points.
Kate and Anthony are the best! Their love is complicated but sexy and steamy and romantic.
We have a video on them in the works!
@@MsMojo I can't wait they are amazing I can't get enough of them 😍.
@@MsMojo hurry up!
Kate Bridgerton & Eloise Bridgerton Supremacy! I get Queen vibes from them. ❤️ Also Edwina the character both from the books and show is the sweetest & purest gem. ❤️
Those were a lot of my favorite moments. You should do the scene where they brought down the dude who was blackmailing Daphne
@@islasullivan3463 I think it was more like "I did what I had to do and I will not be apologizing for it" comeback.
Lady Danburry, Lady Violet, Queen Charlotte, Eloise & Kate are Awesome!!!!
Lady Featherington is awesome!
Portia's plan was my #1 👏👏👏
My favorite character is Penelope and Kate
How could edwina and the queen and king not be on this list?!?!
She’s jealous.. she loved LW up until the situation this situation
Stunned that Daphne's entrance to the ball when she danced with the Prince did not make this list or even get an honourable mention!
Edwina should be so lucky to have a sister like Kate the family was going broke and needed money Kate gave up her life for her
I loved season 2 more than season 1
Kate sharma is such a badass😳🔥🔥❤
Kate & Anthony are my babies. I love them
Hold on!!! What about the time when they vicountess shatters Nigel's reputation!!! That was badass !! and she took advantage of society like it was nothing!!
Such a great show. Can you do a video of the songs they sampled for ballroom dances?
Yas
unpopular opinion, but i believe edwina's character, the actress who played her did a better job in regards to acting, the actress who played kate, I kind of noted some emotional scenes where her acting fell short, like that scene when she says you vex me, just her facial expression was so overacted to me, but edwina's actress, charithra I believe is her name, she was amazing in emotional scenes, whether its anger, frustration, insecurity, feeling overwhelmed, her facial expressions were so well done I could tell what the character was thinking and feeling just by her face, her acting impressed me the most.
I don’t think it’s unpopular ….an astute observation, I loved Charithra’s acting too; she, Jonathan and the actress who played Portia were marvelous in their depiction, very nuanced.
I love Simone Ashley but I have to agree. I don’t think charithra would have worked as Kate, but she is a fantastic actress.
I agree!!
Love Love Love Kate and I've come to adore Edwina.
Violet is one of my favorites too.
It really should be "20 or more times..." The accolades mentioned in this video aren't enough. 😂
10 times? The ladies of Bridgerton, ALWAYS steal the show!!!
Can you please make a video about kate and anthony?❤
In the works! :)
Personally one of my favourite moments was when Lady Bridgerton and her maids single-handedly sent Lord Berbrooke packing by getting his secrets out of his mother's maid and then spreading them to everyone they could.
Edwina is really a lovely person in all ways. It comes across much more clearly when you watch the whole series rather than just clips.
I was wondering what scene will be chosen as number one, and I was think the same ❤️. I only miss Violet in this list.
This list needs rearranging...Portia is number 1 with Edwina being number 2 and so many strong moments as well as honourable mentions you missed. They were so many stronger scenes than the ones picked out.
Now give us top 10 romántic moments of a bridgerton season 2.
Lady Danbury could have had all 1-10.
Ok but what about Violet’s monologue to Anthony in season 1?!
Im happy that Portia was mentioned. Such a strong mother at that moment
Marina was so self righteous 🙄 considering her future she should’ve watched her words she was clearly dissatisfied and he was right
i love Kate, Eloise, Daphne, Violet, queen charlotte, lady Danbury :D and Kate Sharma is my favorite woman character ^^ And Anthony is my favorite men Anthony is just Anthony haha i like him^^
"Portia" was Atia in "Rome",the best female role on screen
These moments make me go 🙌🏼WOMEN🙌🏼
I'd swap Lady Danbury's and Portia's positions. Although I liked how Portia put Jack in his place what Lady Danbury did for Simon deserves more recognition.
Not only that but Lady Danbury truly cares about him. Look at how Portia has always treated Penelope, no caring there! So cold to her daughter, it's disgusting. That alone makes it hard for me to give her too much recognition!
Penelope is so right about eloise
Eloise is so right about Penelope.
She got tired of being Eloises pet.
Penelope a wicked
Literally why wasn’t Lady Danbury on this list more?
Can you do a top 10 Kanthony looks from season 2?
I like Edwina’s response when Anthony tries to pass off one of Benedict’s poems as his, then stops halfway through and admits he didn’t write it. Kate turns to her sister and basically says, “See? I told you so,” and Edwina responds with, “Does his admission make him a bad man or an honest one?”
It’s the first time we see Edwina actually stand up to her sister, and it shows she’s less of the milquetoast than portrayed and actually has real character of her own.
Isn't Edwina ridiculous to ask Anthony if he loves her on her wedding day? she admitted that Anthony didn't look at her enough! Kate has always alerted her sister to the viscount's intentions: he will never be in love with Edwina. Edwina can't say her sister lied to her.
Claudia and Nicola absolutely ATE that Peneloise fight 🔥
Kate Sharma rocks!
Colin still needs to get some lesson..... someone pls tell him that he just misled his bestie and broke her heart in just half an hour span
Edwina. ❤️
10:10 I really liked Edina's speech
edwina can't be strong in actually listening to what Kate and Anthony were telling her all along! Anthony told her he wasn't offering love and Kate told her the same thing sooo
Can you do a top 10 of female mobster
Queen Charlotte fighting for her husband, George!
💕💔💕
Portia is the character you love to hate. :D You failed to mention when Violet checks Anthony about his handling of Daphne's potential husband. What was that Clod's name ...? Lord Berbroke. Absolute YUCK! :p That was the first show of how the women of that time knew how to do a an end run by the station life has given them. I agree with Edwina telling both Anthony and Kate off after the failed wedding. All except it should have been closer to #1. ;) Also, Penelope using her original accent to disguise herself was Brilliant. :D PS. I can't stand Kate. (smh)
What about Portia on the list she my hero along with Kate
This video was wildly satisfying😂
Sienna is the most underrated character. I honestly wanted them to end up together. I know it would be controversial but that would make a great romeo and Juliet like story. Kate and Anthony were great too and hate me all you want but if it wasn’t for family pressure he would have never taken any interest in Kate at all. He met Sienna on his own, not at a ‘courtship’ ball. She obviously wasn’t just someone Anthony wanted to fool around with if he wasn’t seeing her all the time
Women have always worked around the men and the confinements of society to do what needs to be done.
Penelope 🔥
Eu gosto do relacionamento e cumplicidade dos irmãos Eloise e Benedct.
I had no intention of watching the show, then I saw Polly Walker was in it. I'm a simple woman, I see Polly Walker - I watch.
I don't think you can steal a scene that you're the center of.
Portia only stayed behind because she had the leverage if she aint have nothing portia would be right in new york looking at knocking on mrs astor door ……..iykyk
This is funny!!
Edwina’s rage at the end was completely understandable tbh
Kanthony was only fun for me to watch up until the bee sting scene 🌝
I saw this movie last year and was waiting The seccond season 🤣🤣🤣♥️🗣️🖤🌹 Adil Chughtai
