Ran 14 miles last night for marathon training and my back is sore, my legs are sore and the thought of running again is horrid. Could not imagine running consistently 50k in Africa, he really is a goat 🐐
Wonderful. Fabulous questions and in a world less spoilt with Internet content this expedition pre Internet would be much more globally respected for the immense human achievement it truly is. The mental strength and flexibility together with sheer physical endurance is beyond exciting and inspirational. Keep trucking Russ💪🏻
Amazing. Been watching his TH-cam since the very beginning and it's been such a journey. Great interview here. Really inspiring stuff. Well done Russ. Stop being so humble!! haha... You should be so proud of what you have done. Keep smashing it!
Never ran in my life other than school but each video is kicking me up the arse a bit more to get going. History of heart problems later in life in my family, if i get running soon I might be able to prevent it. Russ is actually saving lives already 😂
Interesting interview. Nice to see such a deep and comfortable conversation with meaningful questions. Enjoyed hearing from russ having watched months of him running. Some wise insights underneath the geezer front
Great conversation. Enjoyed the questions you asked. Interestingly my dad left before I was born too. Upon my reflections and inquiries over the years, I’m now in a place where I’m thankful for it guiding me to a position where I had to seek answers internally for the questions i had. And as such, directing me on the path to strengthen my relationship with the Heavenly Father at source, rather than through the way of a father here on earth. For me too, that’s the purpose of this reality; our experiences and reflections are to help us see the energy of God in one another. Russ said - Love. God / Allah / Its the same energy just many different words attempting to define it. That’s the biggest accomplishment Russ has achieved in my eyes - he’s powerfully offered a fresh reflection to humanity that we are all made of the same energy, we are all children of the same God that created all the masters and saints. Russ has helped raise the collective knowing that this potential for greatness is within us all. What a guy. God bless you both. 💙
Love the interview and perspectives! One idea I‘d like to add to the point of knowing that you basically know nothing: If you would have figured it all out, what is left to do then? Being happy with exploring and enjoying it is probably the best state you can achieve, at least for me. Russ, if you ever run across Germany and need a place to stay, hit me up 😁.
@hardestgeezer when thinking about being a good parent, please also think about being a girl's father not just a boy's father. I think it's admirable that you think so much about this topic.

Great interview, I hope Russ realises his legacy stretches to the thousands of people like myself who he's inspired.
This is so nice! Thanks for sharing
“There comes a point in our lives where you have to stop blaming other people and start looking inside, because that’s where the answers are.”
I’ve signed myself up to the London marathon next year because of the inspiration of the project 🙏🏻
by far the best interview with Russ that I've come across, It is nicely done; past, present and the moral/spiritual, I love it.
Fantastic interview. Great interviewer and Russ is such a deep and sound bloke relevant to all of us. Cheers lads.
Thanks for listening! So glad it was useful

Mate. You are a surprising fella. Love what you are doing, but love the intent and the insights you are gaining by doing it even more. You go man.
What’s craziest is you know you’re watching an all time legend in real time. Like the first guy to climb Everest

The sound goes mono - left ear only from around 30 min in
Did anyone else start rubbing their screen thinking there was a smudge...
Great interview

Amazing interview, was wondering when info might be released about potentially joining for the final run in Tunisia??
Thank you for sharing and watching! I hope to hear this from Russ soon too!
How has this channel secured this interview 😂
Would be great to put chapters with the questions if possible!
really introspective fella
Well done man I’m happy for you and your creux
Russ when you achieve the run it would be prudent in a Godly sense to be thankful rather than proud. Pride always comes before a fall. 😊
We attent you in Algeria 🤍🇩🇿

Loved the interview! Thanks for asking my questions, but it's Timo haha, not Tim (it's a Dutch name)
Apologies mate! Thanks for listening appreciate the support!
@@leootyson3191haha no worries! Actually had the honour to try my first hardest geezer pint today in the Goose!
My sounds disappears from 29:39. Is anyone else having that issue
I think it goes to one headphone/one side after that point
@@dskatkinsonthanks 😊 I could hear when I put on my headphones (it goes to one side). If anyone else has that issue…
@@dskatkinsonthank you for sharing this!
Apologies for this, camera 1 stopped working unfortunately, luckily we where recording on 2 cameras
You should still be able to remix the sound to both ears.@@leootyson3191
Shit! I only now realized that he's 26 years old. That's me in 3 years. This is incredibly inspiring. He is a true legend
Like if you're going to Tunisia for the last day of the challenge!
You need to link with John Mcavoy and or Ross Edgley
Thank you for sharing and watching! I agree!
