I once was in a park with my lilttle cousin and my dad. After that, we were back at the apatment and this conversation happened: lil cousin: “I’m goin with da elevator” I said: “No, electricity just went out a few hours ago, you should come with the stairs.” He said: “Naaa” me: „dad could you come with us in the elevator?“ he: „no“ And I didn‘t know what to do since I knew something bad would happen. I decided to go with my little cousin since I didn‘t had a good feeling and wanted to be with him if something would happen. *going into the elevator* Lil cousin: „Eh nothing will happen“ in like a chill way. 1 second later.. BOOM! The elevator lights go off and we‘re stuck. Of course I knew nothing will happen but my heart freaked out. And yes my little cousin screamed though so my dad heard us and called for help. (Electricity was out for like 3 mins wich the elevator stopped. We clicked emergency buttons but didn’t work.

I’m just gonna say this. If your stuck, you would want to be by yourself or with ONE other person and you and said person can not panic for many reason but the main reason is that there is limited oxygen in the elevator and if you panic you breathe more and quickly than usual. So you gotta T-up and lock in. Not panicking also leads to more rational decision making. Now it’s a 5 year old so I’m not gonna say anything bad, for a 5 year old she handled the situation the best way a 5 year old could’ve handled it.
