- Janja Garnbret is already known as one of the best climbers in the world (men included) and will likely take the Podium at the Olympics.
This is a progression from her first year competing in the senior/adult competitions in 2015 through earlier this year, 2020.

Janja is beyond incredible and even when she first started climbing in the competition she turned heads as she started getting medals. What is your favorite moment with Janja?
Favourite moment is, when she won Olympics. Emotions were so intense. We fellow citizens are so proud of her her❤️🙏
She is impressive all the time. One moment that really stood out to me was in the Olympic during the Speedclimbing (which seems to be her "weakest" discipline, though "weak" here is only relative to herself in the other disciplines) and she lost one grip, but instead of going in second, sped up and won the duel anyway.
But a beautiful moment of every climb of hers is her joy at the finish of the climb.

She is certainly the best comp boulderer and top 3 at lead. So certainly favourite for the Olympics.

No one is certain of victory before the start of a comp. But it would not be an exaggeration to just state that Janja is just the best and most dominant comp climber, period. Not just boulder, but lead also. No one has been able to really challenge her. She has made a few mistakes on rare occasions, sure and at those times it has cost her the top spot or a podium but those moments are far and few between.

Best climber in the world? Without a doubt this climber is significantly better than I am and better than I will ever be. But stating someone is the BEST CLIMBER IN THE WORLD and then showcasing a 14 minute video of indoor bouldering gymnastics comps is ludicrous. Is this climber the best, sport, trad, off width, highball bouldering, bouldering, roof, slab, overhang, etc etc climber in the world? All at one time? No, clickbait title. What you should have titled it as, Janja Garnbret, Skill Improvement From 2015-2020, One Of The World's Best Comp Boulderers. Because then comp climbers will find this video and want to watch it.

To be fair though, I think it's the way most of us climbers who follow the comp scene feel when we watch her climb. I've been following climbing of all sorts for over 20 years, and nobody has ever stood out like her. Climbing is very diverse and I don't expect she'll ever make much of an impact on trad or big wall climbing, but I reckon she's coming for the records and landmark ascents in all aspects of sport climbing, bouldering and competition climbing.
People will find this video because it's Janja not because whether there's "comp" in the title or not
Actually Janja is without a doubt the BEST *COMP* climber in the world right now. Statistics don't lie, she's broken multiple records that no other climber has done. On a bouldering competition (Bloc Masters 2019) one of the comentators had done a propper statistical analysis with all her gold medals and times at the podium. So he calculated that she had the highest chance (by far) from any other climber to be on the podium and also to win gold. There has not been any other competition climber *ever* that has dominated the way she has in both bouldering, lead and combined. By the end of 2019 the comentators (Charlie in World cups) would always introduce her as the greatest all-around climber in the world, because that is a matter of fact now not opinion.
There are some climbers that have more medals than her in total, but that's because they have been competing for a literal decade longer than her (like Jain Kim, Akiyo Noguchi) and that was put into account as well.
