I asked a tv station why the band was never shown. Had something to do with music copyright, couldn't broadcast recent music without prior approval, which the band had, but not the station.

An ND fan, I sure do appreciate the precision and musical entertainment of the OSU marching band. I miss not seeing your ramp entrance. It’s pretty cool.
The great Texas, A&M marching band and the Ohio State University marching band are military type marching bands.That's why they are so good.They are actually great because the way they march and play compared to a lot of other college marching bands
My favorite part is the band singing "Buckeye Battle Cry' after script. Almost tear up during... Love all of the traditions. Okay, if I'm totally honest, "Sloopy" gets a little irritating if goes on too long. Go Bucks!

Me, too, class of 1950! The excitement when the band would make their entrance at the football games, down the ramp, onto the field Sigh.

Michigan here; I am not a fan of either U. of M. Football or Ohio State football but I love the Ohio State Band. To me , they're second to none.
