This anime is basically, "If Nasu's original ideas of fate were reused to create a totally family friendly version of fate that questions my interests," the anime.
Fate prisma was the Fate series I started with when getting into Fate. Best series to start with imo. I was devastated when I finally got around to watching UBW.
The manga is a lot better than the garbage anime. It has WAY less fanservice (it's still there, but not as extreme or as often as in the anime), especially in 3rei. There's barely any weird shit in the 3rei manga. Like really, why did they add SO MUCH fanservice in the anime. The story unironically becomes really really good after a while, too. The only reason I don't really recommend it to people is because of the disgusting sexualization of the kids, but if you manage to look past that it's actually a very good story, and the art is amazing. I'm just glad they stopped puttiong so much of that creepy shit in the later parts of the manga
Prillya is probably the one Fate anime adaptation that stays truest to the Nasuverse main series entries ngl unironically though the soundtrack for this anime is so goddamn good, out of all the Fate anime only the Deen Fate route really compares, though the most recent movie was a bit weak and deviated quite a bit from the already superb manga
I thoroughly enjoyed best Shirou, but I felt like going any longer would make it feel like the video was droning on so I cut out where I talk about the 2 movies. Decided to give them their own movies if this vid does well, and it also helps that S5 got announced while I was making the vid which helped cement that was a wise decision lol. At least I think so, maybe others won't feel the same. Personally, I'd rather use that movie -- and by extent the other one -- as an excuse to make a video going more in-depth and analytical with Shirou and all the other versions of him, plus w/e occurs in the second movie. In this video, it's more or less just loli jokes with "yeah, this is pretty good" with a few criticisms here and there, less-so then dissecting it because it wasn't that type of show for most of its run, to an extent anyway.

@@ChickenMcBerger Writing can certainly be objectively well done or poorly done, but the subjectivity comes with the territory of how you personally feel towards the material. Either way, a lot of people like Miyuuverse Shirou because he's cool. Most anime-only's don't know about him because they didn't watch Prillya.
Would rather make out in real life. Much better experience. It’s hard to get good anime as a well adjusted person sometimes. Which is why PreCure is the GOAT, because it doesn’t have that bullshit.

I was more referring to the fact that they are actually written as characters instead of either sexy badasses or characters who are there to support the male lead. I’m just happy they are treated as people more than a lot of these other characters who are fanservice.

Weirdly enough the deeper the story goes, it become "Lostbelt lvl" story literally. Recent manga chapters are just crazy lore bomb.
