I hear you, that's where having proper PD 2.0 compliance is important, which this has. The other thing is whether the company is willing to offer a "No- Brick" warranty. This has one for a year. They'd lose a lot of money if they had to replace a lot of people's Switches!
How does it feel in the hand? Does it feel like a quality device? Is it weighty? And mort important have you taken it apart to see if it is fused and safe?
So I do like what plenbo is trying to do. But I’m afraid that Switch 2 will come in 2023. So I’m doubting to invest in this. Plus the OneDock doesn’t appear to also come with a eu plug. Besides dus anyone know a good Dock with lan that also works with laptops? I have one usb-c laptop dock that give the switch power and kan, but the tv doesn’t work with it.
If they come out with a new switch it might be same size...It works with the OLED switch which has a bigger screen. It comes with a EU plug if you get the addon or family pack.

I have not taken it apart, but it does feel substantial in the hand. There's a decent core inside, along with the other components.
I already used the basstop kit to make a portable dock. I still have two USB ports with the basstop kit, and it seems to be near the same size.

How would you say it compares to the Genki travel dock?
I haven't used the Genki Covert Dock myself, but conceptually they look very similar.

@@RoXolid does the g case put the switch's rear vents in any danger? As in does it prevent ventilation and cause the switch to overheat?

This DOES work with laptops, and u believe they will have adapters for other regions

Not at this time, but they also offer a 1 year warranty backing their product and you as well.
