  • In this I give an introduction for the series and show some of what is possible with lith printing in the darkroom with the way that I do it. In future parts of this series, I will cover formulation, actual usage, paper choices, and how to start tweaking things in the process in order to match your own creative aim. Also one caveat to this series is that I will NOT cover how to introduce formaldehyde or formalin to a lith developer. I personally refuse to work with it due to safety reasons.
It's been a long time, but I'm back for good and feeling better than I ever have. My name is Ashley, my pronouns are she/her, and I'm excited to be sharing my knowledge of lith printing again

This is remarkable that you have invented a developer to work with modern Ilford papers. Amazing job.

Thank you for all of the work you've put in and the resulting video, Ashley. I've been following your adventures via Photrio for some time and it's lovely to put a face to the Alchemical Artist.

I'm definitely planning to, it likely won't happen until this summer when I'm into a bigger darkroom. Hopefully with a lot more knowledge on the topic so that I can give better explanations as well

Any video on how you make these developer ingredients? That’s help us who want more control vs using the easy light supplies.
