- A classic!
Almost every CrossFitter does a “12 Days of Christmas” workout on Christmas week. It follows the flow of the song and gets waaaaay harder as you go. Somehow we always come back for more! This year we took on the Kriger Training version:
12 Days of Christmas
1 Shoulder to Overhead 90/60 kg (205/135 Ibs)
2 Front Squats 90/60 kg (205/135 Ibs)
3 Cleans 90/60 kg (205/135 lbs)
4 Bar Muscle Up
5 Chest To Bar Pull Up
6 Toes to Bar
7 Box Jump Over (clear the box) 24/20"
8 Burpee Box Jump
9 m Handstand Walk
10 Dumbbell Thrusters 2*22.5/15 kg (50/35 lbs)
11 Dumbbell Devil Press 2*22.5/15 kg (50/35 lbs)
12 Dumbbell Burpee Clean Box Step Over 2*22.5/15 kg
(50/35 lbs)
It was actually one of the most fun versions I’ve ever done! Possibly because it was one of the shortest as well 😅
Watch until the end to find out how long it took and my thoughts on the hardest part!
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all! - กีฬา
This kind of workout is what I wanna see as a first event at the games. A combining of shitloads and chaos
Max dipping out of the frame to take a quick piss killed me 💀🤣
My favorite wod that my CrossFit gym puts on every year I did it on Saturday
Its cool how every place does it a bit different. Ours was changed a bit from previous years and is now this:
1. Rope climb
2. Box jump (41/30inch)
3. Handstand pushups
4. Clean and jerk (135/95lbs)
5. Pushups
6. Knees to elbows
7. Kb swing
8. Burpees
9. Ring dips
10. Pistol squats
11. Pull ups
12. Thrusters (same weight)
...my triceps hurt...
Ours was
1. Burpee muscle up
2. Strict pull up
3. OHS (50kg)
4. Squat Snatch (50kg)
5. C2B
6. Power Snatches (50kg)
7. Front Squat (50kg)
8. Push Press (50kg)
9. Deadlifts (50kg)
10. Wall balls
11. Burpees
12. 1200m run or Bike erg.
Seems simple and lightweight on paper but I was drained at the end. 😂
Brilliant programming. I love how the barbell movements progressed into a flowy complex, as did the TTB into C2B into Butterflies. As well as the box jumps into the jump overs, and then the DB complex. Such a creative and sensible way to design this workout. All getting progressively harder. Awesome job pushing through this very hard WOD Noah, you are an animal!
Loving the background music in this one! Had a blast watching while I danced/walked on my treadmill.
I totally want to see this as a games event!!
Or something close with the same concept
Crazy ! Fun to watch but probably not fun to do. Respect !
Killer workout
Sheeeeeesh, Well done Noah!
Well done at 04:09 by the dude in the back 😂
My bad, that was the 11! Db box step overs!! Grind fest 🙌🏼
What shoes is Noah wearing? They look awesome! Merry Christmas 🎄
Found them! They are the R.A.D one shoes 😉
I can’t find that colorway anywhere though. They make the cool colorways exclusive it seems.
BEAST😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Let’s hope the team wins the games
What type of water bottle do you use?
My gym is closed today
Dont care so much about what people think with the merry christmas thing. I've been in Buddhist and Muslim countries where they call it Christmas and never complain about it being exclusive. If people get offended, that's their fault. Besides, it's the 12 days of Christmas. Not the 12 days of holidays.
Spot on! Problem is, those people (Noah) that try too hard to be inclusive of everyone and everything believe they are doing the right thing for the world, when in reality it just comes across as cringy, baseless and down right virtue signaling. It falls right in line with Noah's black square malarkey.
"Noah you are an athlete, do your thing as an athlete, no on gives a fuck about your politics!"
Yuck devil press on the 12 🤮
Few weeks back we had a WOD that did 40 - 30 - 20 - 10 Devil's Press and I walked out of class and went home after the first 40 😂
My fave crossfit athlete what a gun
Sounds like a good bloke too
I think Noah is great, but I'd hate to workout with him. He knows there's someone using the rig behind him, but he keeps on stepping back and standing there prepping for T2B, and then, he does devil press under the rack in that same spot? That's just as bad as doing curls in the squat rack. #inconsiderate
