Alcohol is so destructive, dude made a complete 180 in terms of his personality. He was on his way to greatness, if he can't get sober and dial in ryan garcia is done.
As someone who worked in night clubs in LA it’s also the fact that when you’re a star athlete or movie star etc and you get into partying drinking alcohol it leads to cocaine 90% of the time.
There were so many people I knew from that scene who never touched drugs and then they go out in clubs in la, vegas etc and become coke addicts and ruin their life.

I think he's done right now. To waste a couple full years of your prime to drugs, alcohol, drama, PEDs and all the bullshit he can stir up has drastically shortened his career and he's done being at the top.
The pressure on Ryan has to be enormous from all directions. One contributing factor not often discussed is his super model good looks which opens doors to a large female audience as well as parts of the entertainment world. Temptations everywhere.

Tank only got his real belt at lightweight when he was made champion a couple months ago when the body stripped someone else.

I don't understand when someone pops for a ped and everyone says, "It doesn't make sense, cause there was such a small amount it would have any benefits." I'm not an expert, but what I heard and what makes since is that these professional athletes do what they call "micro dosing" which is they'll intentionally take it in small doses at certain times so there able to get it out of their system in a small amount of time, but still recieve benefits. They can also buy designer drugs where they can change a molecule or something to that effect where it's the same drug but can't be detected. Like they're professional athletes that aren't just going to dose like they don't have tests to beat.

19:25 The amount of osterine in his samples was not "exceptionally small" it was 60X the limit. He obviously didn't take one tiny dose the day before the fight, it was what was leftover from however much he was taking during his training camp and after flushing his system with a liquid IV (which he is on camera doing), plus however else he tried to dilute and mask his samples. It was actually a very conclusive amout to prove that he was definitely using osterine without a doubt.
He isn't done yet. They will let him in next year or so. Money talks, and boxing is just getting its feet again.

Correction, Tank Davis DINT HAVE a real light weight belt, he had de WBA regular belt and just a few months ago was ELEVATED to WBA champion.

I'm having to fight the urge to blame it all on too many blows to the head.
Yet I have doubts. That might be more to it than that, as in real mental health issues in need of medical treatment.
ryan is smart. yes some of the things he is doing or did is controversial, because of what he has done it gave him the fame, money, and popularity he has. To be one of the greats in boxing you have to have a key aspect about your self, and ryan garcia chose to do this, to develop his fame.
Talent does make you a star. If you have the work ethic and the mentality to achieve something the talent and the work ethic will translate to the ring or whatever stage your sport is set on. His lack of discipline is what made him free fall. Real fighters or athletes care too much about their well beings they don’t bother to party or drink.
Conor McGregor knew the types of weasels he was dealing with when it came to promotions. Nothing like dana white.
