I've just become aware of your channel though I'm pretty sure I've listened to a few of your stories before. I immediately subscribed today after listening to 1/2 of this 4+ hour compilation. It was a day of migraine (photophobia, nausea, the works). I have a special light cancelling soft mask I have to wear so I'm can't read or do anything requiring my eyes, plus my head hurts so bad I need a detractor and these stories help me to refocus on the story and not the pain. I think the authors of these stories are so imaginative, plus some feel almost (or possibly) real. So thank you to all who contribute to my recovery and amusement when not hurting but just having sporadic sleep at night (hazards of getting old). Your voice is perfect as a storyteller. Without that "right" voice the story can be something else, as I'm sure you understand. But this channel hits all the boxes. Love the ambient rain background. It is so soothing. Again thank you so very much. God bless you for all you do. I'll now be listening all the time.

Glad you did the story about the kid with the machete whose family out-weirded the weirdo, it's one I found hilarious and very relatable. Seems my family has always been a bit like that. A few bad events occurred in our lives but they all had an element of the weird and strangely funny to them. I often think our family is so oddball that we can't even do danger the right way......
