It does border on 16 bit really, though nothing out of the realms of what the Famicom was capable of. Though not on this piece in particular since it's actually overclocked.
4 Animals, Panic Station and Madness are the only songs I really like on it. Supremacy has a pretty cool structure but the melody of the orchestra in the beginning reminds me too much of Fury. Survival is bloody ridiculous, and I can actually appreciate bombastic music, but this goes a bit too far imo. Follow me sounds like a cheesy remix. Explorers is just cheese, though I love the middle 8th. Big freeze is nice. Save Me is a bit repetitive. Liquid State feels unfinished. LOL unsustainable.
I wish we could replace all of Bellamy's horrible annoying vocals with that yellow line up there. He can make good music but he ruins it all with his voice.
Look at that bassline jumping around on the visualization. Really makes you appreciate all those notes.
sounds like an old Martin Galway track with that tuned percussion sound and ripper baseline. love it!
awesome, i was missing your songs.
i'll see them (muse) at Rock In Rio, this year :D

that bassline must've been a pain in the dick to make.
The best version.
