I have no idea why individuals & companies have spent tens of millions to "bring back" the mammoth, when there is a creature as majestic as this one still walking among us, at the dawn of the Age of Quantum Computation. His sperms should be carefully saved & given to healthy female elephants, so this exceptional tasker's genetics could be perpetuated for humans generations down the road to see. People who are lost in jungles screaming they need to find a way out so they could go to "a real jungle" are just bizarre and hilarious, having no understanding or appreciation of any of Earth's majestic creatures, dead or alive...

Despite the threats it is not too late to save elephants from extinction in Nigeria, but significant resources and improved political support will be required Hundreds of thousands of elephants once roamed across Nigeria. However as a result of poaching for their ivory and habitat loss, it is estimated that fewer than 400 remain today. Elephants are on the very edge of extinction in Nigeria.

Every year the "Esala perahera", a religious procession is held at the "Temple of the Tooth Relic - Sri Lanka" 🇱🇰 ,where the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha is carried around the city.
This tusker is "Nedungamuwe Raja" or "Raja" of Nedungamuwa. He is the tusker who has the opportunity to carry the sacred "tooth relic".
Raja was honoured to carry it for many years. We, Sri Lankans consider it as a national treasure. That's why it is given so much protection and attention.
