Such a great album. Sean deserves more respect for how consistent he’s been. Was lucky enough to meet him once and is a real nice genuine guy. You can just hear how much this album meant to him and how it helped him. Also that human nature sample on don life goes crazy !!
Sasha Shinkevich Bruh... it’s your list but wtf kinda list is that??? You deadass just said “The GOAT”, “Circles”, “High off Life” are some of the worst albums of the year?? When ironically ALL 3 of them are better than this album. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Sasha Shinkevich Where’s the Weekend? Where’s Rod wave? Where’s Lil Uzi? Where’s Gunna? Where’s Lil Baby? Where is Nas? Where’s Meet the Woo? Where’s Lil Wayne’s? Where’s A Boogie? Where’s Lil Durk? G Herbo? Etc etc
I couldn’t agree more with your sentiment on needing to hear this kind of music when we received it. Music had become a bit stale lately, and with the world in the state it’s in, Big Sean really came through. I’m looking forward to more possible Big Sean reactions of his older albums?
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any help you can offer me.
@Avi Iker i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@@jacklonergan5345 yeah but luckily big sean isnt far behind and will definitely pass him after first week. Its not like people wanna relisten to 69's album lol. Plus, big sean's album is more of a time commitment for people. I mean Friday Night Cypher alone is 10min and 69 whole album is 30min
Jack Lonergan Pretty simple actually, love or hate him he’s one of the biggest artist in world. Also one of the best @ marketing even w/o any industry promotion.
69 is complaining because he’s the only major hip hop artist regardless of quality to release an album this and get no playlisting at all and get no placement on the hip hop or main pages of any streaming service
So glad you fucked with this album. Big Sean has always been great to me. His flow is so underrated. People seem to just hate for no reason. Man is an absolute legend.
Was honestly surprised when I saw that you weren’t a fan of Wolves. That was by far my favorite bc I loved how smooth and catchy the hook was and I thought Post really delivered
Possibly the best album this year, very soulful record, now you no why hes been held in such high esteem along with Drake and Kendrick who were seen as the new major artist who carried the last decade.
Detroit 2 is a solid project in my opinion, really showcases Seans lyrical abilities which he so often put on display in the mid 2000's era. The feature list is also insane the lineup from top to bottom is ridiculous. My top picks after only one full listen through the project would be; Don Life, Why would I stop?, Respect it, The baddest, Wolves, ZTFO, Deep Reverence, Friday Night Cypher. Overall good work here by Big Sean, lots of elements in this album, heavier beats, lyricism, slower vibes with deep meaning.
Full circle is my fav track on the album and top 5 big sean Tracks ever!! Def a grower, worth 4-5 Listens before it REALLY bangs. It has a great story too
I'm from Detroit. Live about 30mins from downtown. I've had this album on repeat since release. Loved the cypher as well. I hear there's a video in the works for it
Youre amazing bro. Its not just about music with you. The in depth, introspective, personal POVs and gems you drop sporadically mean everything. Anyone else does a segue and it seems unauthentic and forced. Yours are like Im sitting down with my boys and having a great conversation. Thats a skill man. I think those moments are what will forever separate you from the other reactors.
I’ve seen people comment i decided and I agree so much pls give it a listen, during the time it was dropped I feel like it was overlooked by coles drop and chances and Kanye’s, but it’s a very under appreciated record and has a good amount of songs I really like
Just a suggestion, but maybe now that your far along into this journey, you could start checking out classic albums like ready to die by biggie or all eyez on me by Tupac
Detroit native here: Soulful Moaning and The Baddest are odes to Detroit-specific popular songs that aren't quite classics elsewhere in the country. The Baddest is from a DJ Godfather club track Godzilla (obviously named): a song which beat was most used for Jit dances local to Detroit in the 80s-90s.
Jon you should definitely check out the new 3 track EP by P Money. It’s mad good. Especially the song “Is Someone There”. That’s a track that you would enjoy because of how personal and real he gets

Can we get a reaction to Dark Sky Paradise, I Decided or Detroit?
Finally famous is another great album and the one he made with Metro Boomin
please do dark sky paradise 🙏🙏
@Romy Taylor production was great though
@@litbeatzzz its metro 😂 production was never the problem with that album.
Hall of Fame album
Loved this album. A few filler tracks but altogether a very strong project. Top 10 of the year
YES!!
Nah not top 10 but definitely making a serious argument for top 20.

I Agree. My favorite song from Dark Sky Paradise is deep ft lil wayne
Juris Ribinickis rt that shit goes hard. Under rated one too no one I know ever plays it

@James Bowie Happy to help :)
It’s truly one of my favorites of the year, with an exception of a few tracks I actually liked it a lot
and 69 salty that everyone's pushing this album and not his???😂

Dark Sky Paradise and I Decided albums by Big Sean please react to them
JD you gotta listen to I Decided its one of my favourite albums and it’s a very personal one to Big Sean

I LOVE JD AND ALL YOUR REACTIONS ARE ALL GREAT QUALITY BUT IF YOU DONT REACT TO NIPSEY HUSSLE’S “VICTORY LAP” IM GOING TO CRY 😭
Nobody has reacted to that album but it was phenomenal
I’m from Detroit and this album hits home cuz I’m a young black man living in Detroit which makes it dope

Haven't clicked a notification this fast in a long while
*you should do a reaction to Detroit 1, top 5 best mixtapes ever IMO*
I remember Detroit 1 crashing DatPiff when it released. One of the best mixtape ever.
If he's doing mixtapes we need a Dedication 2 reaction ASAP!!

inspirational album and inspirational video from you, thanks as always Jon
I feel the same way. Never really got into his projects but this one was way better then I expected and what I needed rn.
returning to this album since I heard someone say big Sean was corny, this album (excluding a few tracks) was one of the better records that year
I'm from Detroit. Live about 30mins from downtown. I've had this album on repeat since release. Loved the cypher as well. I hear there's a video in the works for it
How do you never disappoint John? You the most genuine reactor out there!

glad to finally see a Big Sean reaction lol
React to I decided by big Sean. you will love it!
Facts he would love the resilient bars and the introspection
Big Sean is one of the realest inspirational rappers. You should do his songs "Bigger than me" and "Sacrifices"! He is woke

You definitely gotta give double or nothing a listen. Him and Metro killed that tape
Yeah, the tracks with Jhene weren't that good on here but their group project titled twenty88 was actually amazing
I hope we can get a reaction to one of Waynes tapes one day
Da Drought 3 and No Ceilings are incredible
Sub to Jon's patreon! Weekly album and single track react suggestion threads. Worth the dosh

Really enjoyed his last two projects. Definitely has a bright decade in 2020
the whole album is insane. i really was not expecting it from him
This project made me check out big Sean’s discography and I gotta say I’m a fan now lol
Honestly makes me happy seeing Jon finally liking Sean
You have to do BIG SEAN- DARK SKY PARADISE ‼️His best album definitely
Bro pleeeeeeeease react to the Detroit mixtape!! Although I liked this album the Detroit mixtape was absolute madness. Track after track

who tf said this album had no soul lol. Great reaction as always homie
Jon please listen to Mac Miller’s Tiny Desk performance! You would truly enjoy it, can’t believe it’s been 2 years since he passed :(
Unfortunately it gets blocked whenever anyone reacts to it :(
You describing the album cover art took me back to my GCSE media classes😂
React to Flatbush zombies : 3001 a laced odyssey
Yes, such a great album Jon will love it!
Hoping to see more Big Sean!
Erykah Badu also made a incredible remake of Common's I Used to Love H.E.R. that maybe even better than the original called Love of my Life.
The don life beat was sampled from Human Nature by MJ. Just revamped to fit the rap song, but he says “getting to the paper like it’s human nature.”
Big sean is one of the best to do it in his Era 💯💯
Fuxx with your reactions heavy my guy. Was waiting for your Detroit 2 review & ya didn't disappoint G 🔥🥂
Jon, just an idea to float..but I believe we'd all love to watch you reacting to stand up comedy.
Can't believe that you took out the part when Diddy came in.
I actually watch these reactions before listening to the album myself 🔥
Rap album of the year so far by far

If you like this album you should really listen to I Decided and also Dark Sky Paradise, his last 2 albums. They’re both of the same caliber
The thing that really upsets me, is that 69 is going to sell more at first week than this...
React to more Jhene, I think you’d enjoy her Trip album
I'd give this album a 9.6/10!
Have to go back and listen to Detroit 1.. a classic mixtape
Still listen to this on the daily
