Dude..I would drop $30 a MONTH to go see Sevendust! They are the best band I've ever seen live..their energy is just unreal and they sound like the album. They are amazing. AMAZING!
Sevendust absolutely kicks ass. I have seen them live 8 times, and they never, never disappoint. They sound phenomenal live, and their stage presence is off the chain. Morgan is a savage on the drums, and he puts on a show all by himself every time he plays. I would pay, without question, $30 monthly to see Sevendust play. They are my favorite band. If you have not seen Sevendust, do yourself a favor and go!!
one of the few killer band to stop by new orleans ALOT on tours.much appreciated!! wish more bands would do the same. the fucking rap scene ruined the new orleans metal crowds.
record companies are the same as any other company, they just wanna make money. they dont care about the people that work for it. sevendust is fuckin amazing and they deserve more for what they do. plus there one of the most underrated bands. and theres news of a new album comin out march 4, 2008.
@x7dust91x I've lost track of how much money I've dropped to see them and for merchandise and you know what? I'll keep on dropping money for these guys they're worth every dollar nickle dime, quarter and penny
People forget how it works, everyone thinks it's all fun and touring for enjoyment but forget it's a business and it can get REAL complicated. Like alot of musicians say coming up, KEEP YOUR DAY JOB. Even if your talented and good it doesn't mean the marketing and exposure will come, it's a unfortunate reality to the business.
Sevendust will be the one of the best bands ever, forever! This just proves that just because you have a "Record Deal" that doesn't mean you are a millionaire. Sometimes the label you are with can rob you blind too. Just going to show that you should only be in the music business for the sole reason that you love to write and play music. You should want lots of money but that can't be the only reason you are in the Biz. Otherwise you'll give up too quickly.
Wow, people are arguing over dumb shit in the comment space for a video where the members of sevendust are explaining how they are struggling? How they were having trouble taking care of thier families, and gonna make dumb ass comments? Wow man. Just....wow. Anyway...Im just glad sevendust is taking care of thier own shit now. Great band, i hope they dont stop making albums anytime soon. Keep it metal mËtÀ£ hËÀÐ
I totally agree MechaAkuma. Despite the fact that Sevendust is incredibly talented, they had to deal with all this shit. Yet, if it's bothering them, they don't let it show. They have sold millions of records worldwide, yet the choose to stay under the radar. Sevendust 4 life :)
These guys are good friends of my boss and I. I do security @ the Marquee Theatre in Tempe Arizona. He used to own Big Fish Pub and SevenDust made it big in Arizona because of that place.....
Hey Sevendust - I'm a new fan from just a couple years back. Now my wife is a fan from just last year. You are POWER. I guess I was confused to not see the bald guitarist running around on the last show and that was odd. He brought a lot of energy - but perhaps that was disruptive. I feel for you on the misery of the limelight. We fans get to go home to nice cozy beds and you get a tourbus bumping through the nights... Can't wait for the next show.
I heard my spiritual her voice voice of my chipwae Indian spirit in my sleep it took me threw my fingertips from billings Montana up to rge hand if the Michigan great lakes
Damon Hoffman yes he was disruptive because he was battling substance abuse! But he is clean and definitely makes them better than ever! Sonny was good but he only played guitar, he didn’t sing, or write music.
a disruptive member out of the group?! come again?! clint was only a major songwriting force not just for this band but a staple of all music. i'd love to know how he was 'disruptive'
I love sevendust and will always love sevendust. but I like both the before and after clint lowery. i do agree tho that the music doesnt have the bad ass melodies that it used to after clint left. but its a new chapter and i still love it. i dont care.
I was upset because someone will fight a racist up here and then turn around and be homophobic, and I feel hate is hate no matter in what form, but then I realize internet fights like this take away from the performers, think about it
I love Clint, he's a great guitar player/writer and I'm a huge fan of Dark New Day...I'm a bigger fan of Sevendust, and I love that Alpha is heavy as hell...For a while all of their songs sounded the same, but I'm happy with Alpha
Yeah, it's called being a musician! Why don't you try it if you think you can do any better. These guys give up so much of their time to tour and keep their fans happy. They barely get to see their families, etc. Don't bash these guys..they are some of the best guys I have ever met in that genre of music!
This is just SHOCKINGLY TERRIBLE how a band like this has to live by cutting corners just because the record labels got their fucking share of the green. It's downright disgusting that big recordcompanies policies lead to bands like these in near-bancruptcy. Seriously. The Music Industry is *FUCKED UP*
That's so fucked up. Speaking from experience, I've seen the ugly side of the music biz. It's 90% ugly bullshit, and 10% fun. You make no money. Our first real gig in the city here in Baltimore...we each made 1 dollar, I'm not kidding...100 cent. 1 washington dollar bill...
Let me guess, you're one of those people who goes online looking to start arguments because you have no real friends to do that with right? I feel really sorry for you, I really do.
Sadly though they haven't been in Denmark for the 28 years I have lived here. I pains me. I had to go see them in Vegas a decade ago. It was fucking rockin but damn guys come to Europe!
Go to work for free for a couple weeks and then tell me how you feel. This is their JOB. We work to make money. Their job just happens to be kicking ass on stage. Anyone who complains about bands "selling out" or chasing the money are just bitter failed musicians.
money aint shit to the labels, record companies etc..sevendust is one of the greatest bands ever..to feel sorry for the band..i dont..they should have stuck with jj french!!!first album rules all!!!
dude all of sevendusts music is amazing sonny mayo is a better guitar player, and they dont need him to write lyrics to their songs morgan does an amazing job and lj. Clint Lowery was awesome as well, but he was being selfish so out he went.
Dude..I would drop $30 a MONTH to go see Sevendust! They are the best band I've ever seen live..their energy is just unreal and they sound like the album. They are amazing. AMAZING!

Despite their hardships, Sevendust will always rock on.
This band is one of my higher power's love these guys.
wow....i had no idea Clint would be seen as "a disruptive force". I know it didn't end well, but daaaamn!
“Disruptive member out of the group” man they threw Clint some shade. So glad he’s back in the fold.
Happy birthday Lajon!
God damn right!!!! Love Lajon, love Morgan and the whole band!!! LONG LIVE SEVENDUST!!!!!
one of the few killer band to stop by new orleans ALOT on tours.much appreciated!! wish more bands would do the same. the fucking rap scene ruined the new orleans metal crowds.
i saw them last month.. great show

Disruptive member? Clint? She makes it sound like they booted him. I thought he left on his own?
specialross77 he was disruptive in the fact he was battling substance abuse but he’s clean now and makes 7D what they are now!
Yeah clint is amazing lol
@x7dust91x I've lost track of how much money I've dropped to see them and for merchandise and you know what? I'll keep on dropping money for these guys they're worth every dollar nickle dime, quarter and penny

She was referring to Sonny Mayo I believe. It's just not the same without Clint. Glad to see him back!
Sevendust will be the one of the best bands ever, forever!

$30 would be awesome these days.

+1 havent seen them live yet but have all their albums... They fukkin rokk
These guys are good friends of my boss and I. I do security @ the Marquee Theatre in Tempe Arizona. He used to own Big Fish Pub and SevenDust made it big in Arizona because of that place.....
what was the song playing in the background.
Yea, I went ahead and traded it in and got his snare. Best idea I've ever had. His snare is THE SHIT.
yeah!!!!!! rock!!!!

Gotta respect their consistency.
Whats the song in the background
Name of the song?
clint lowery is still their guitar player
Yep 7dust is golden. Have you heard the new song Forever Dead? It's pure awesomeness.
I heard my spiritual her voice voice of my chipwae Indian spirit in my sleep it took me threw my fingertips from billings Montana up to rge hand if the Michigan great lakes
I'm thinking of trading in my Joey Jordison snare for the Morgan Rose snare drum. Good idea or bad idea?
Clint Lowery = "disruptive member..." THAT is a hoot, my friends...
whats the opening song?
Deathstar
So how come they tour so much in the States and us UK fans NEVER get to see them?!! Its not fair.
Now God Damnit! I have to read Catch 22 now just so I can say "Oh yeah, it was a Catch 22 kind of Deal!"
id pay 30$ for every month!!!
Hell yeah
That disruptive member I assume was Clint and he's back in the band, unless it was sonny but being they didn't show Clint I assume it was Clint
Damon Hoffman yes he was disruptive because he was battling substance abuse! But he is clean and definitely makes them better than ever! Sonny was good but he only played guitar, he didn’t sing, or write music.
@ShadowoOfBlood You and me both --- they'd be totally worth it.
I typed in Nancy grace it came up like a a red circle with a line through it on on my Facebook page
good for them!!!!!!!! tour on their own label. good for them.
a disruptive member out of the group?! come again?!
clint was only a major songwriting force not just for this band but a staple of all music.
i'd love to know how he was 'disruptive'
He did leave in the middle of a tour, so there's that.
lol, whoa theres a lyric I haven't heard in like 6 years .
These guys only kept me alive and still keep me there. No big deal tho
LJ and 7dust pwnz!!!!!!!
Man I miss Clint. They're just not the same without him.
this is true
I love sevendust and will always love sevendust. but I like both the before and after clint lowery. i do agree tho that the music doesnt have the bad ass melodies that it used to after clint left. but its a new chapter and i still love it. i dont care.

Get ure asses back Aus, we'll be happy to watch you guys again!!
hey spider morgan rose is fucking awesome wooooooooooooooooooooooo
@specialross77 I think she's talkin about sonny mayo
I love Clint, he's a great guitar player/writer and I'm a huge fan of Dark New Day...I'm a bigger fan of Sevendust, and I love that Alpha is heavy as hell...For a while all of their songs sounded the same, but I'm happy with Alpha
“Disruptive member” my ass
Clint lowery is the goat lol
"disruptive member out of the group?" did I miss something when Clint left back then? lol
Disruptive member? Way to diss on Clint, The guy who practically defined the sound of Sevendust.
Clint leaving in the middle of a tour..
now that's disruptive.
Yeah, it's called being a musician! Why don't you try it if you think you can do any better. These guys give up so much of their time to tour and keep their fans happy. They barely get to see their families, etc. Don't bash these guys..they are some of the best guys I have ever met in that genre of music!
they got rid of clint lowery, although now he is back in the band...
this video is from 2007
Lajon sounds foreign when he signs, like he's from Africa or something. That's what I always thought, he's from nashville though.
To our welcome back kotter backstage pass
This is just SHOCKINGLY TERRIBLE how a band like this has to live by cutting corners just because the record labels got their fucking share of the green. Man, those bastards bleed you dry with no shame. WTF kind of person is that.
SEVENDUST DESERVES a PILE of CASH NOW!!! Big big pile of hundo's
Burn is their greatest track ever 🤘🏻 Sevendust rocks
"Wash away the colors of the shame that you gave to me
So I can see again, so I can live again"🤘🍺🙏
I’d rather go see a live badass band then see today’s rap/ pop concerts lol
That's so fucked up. Speaking from experience, I've seen the ugly side of the music biz. It's 90% ugly bullshit, and 10% fun. You make no money. Our first real gig in the city here in Baltimore...we each made 1 dollar, I'm not kidding...100 cent. 1 washington dollar bill...
This did not age well: ‘disruptive member out of the group’ 😂😂 thank the good Lord Clint came back!!
They're all cool....EXCEPT MORGAN!!!!!!!!

Stillllll not the same.... I mean I liked Snot and all... but Sevendust was way better back in the day IMO.
And so were you judging by your attitude. Hiding something?
To Be honest..i've been a sevendust fan since day 1.
(I Dont think i ever heard my self saying this)But Honestly, the band sux without Clint.
Yes, coz you can live without money, isn't it?
dude all of sevendusts music is amazing sonny mayo is a better guitar player, and they dont need him to write lyrics to their songs morgan does an amazing job and lj. Clint Lowery was awesome as well, but he was being selfish so out he went.
