  • Tutorial about how to stitch a wonderful pair of Russian Leaf Earrings with MiniDuo Beads. Only with few materials you will get this gorgeous pair of earrings that are very often featured with Miyuki Delica Beads. You can also try making them with Superduo but the size will be probably too much bigger.

    Out of all of the instructional videos I watched this person is the best. He did a bracelet too. I know some will think that he is too detailed but for someone like me it’s perfect. He walks you ALL THE WAY THROUGH! There are others that videos for this channel but in my opinion he is the BEST,

    Not as easy as it looks to makes, I think duos as very user friendly and although the pattern drawn gives you the idea it should provide the thread drawn within the beads for a better understanding of the direction it needs to go. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  • @RM.Malloy

    These are beautiful, thank you. I had mini-duos but didn't know what to do with them and I love the idea of the thread guard for attaching the ear wire!! I think the instructions are very clear, I understood every word (I'm a New England yankee, lol). Even if you have little experience, you can easily follow the video. Use your pause button and do exactly as shown. The hands are steady and always in camera as well as in focus. I love this tutorial so I feel bad giving this unsolicited criticism, but the background music was distracting and drove me crazy. I dislike all background music.

    Hi! I love your tutorial. Very clear and succinct. Is there a way to obtain the blank graph in order to create other colorways?

    • @annemoore8911
      @annemoore8911 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you tried downloading the graphs and then taking color pencils of your color choice and coloring them in to suit you? You can download the graphs @www.firemountaingems.com/resources/encyclobeadia/charts/9201?engine=google&campaign=[ADL]+[Non-Brand]+Dynamic+Search+Ads+-+Category+Targeting&gclid=Cj0KCQiAw9nUBRCTARIsAG11eicKnO9nlRKky-XaosYQ7cN76laqSbudvWay8TYPZL7rbHvAG4HAlHQaAk8GEALw_wcB&kwid=366189032864x50677351195x1014404392. They have all kinds but I have not tried this project yet so I can not tell off hand which graph will work best. Looking at what he has in corner of screen the Seed Bead Graph Paper
      Brick stitch paper may work. Just a thought. I am a novice at some of the beading and I love the videos where they do not double talk.

    Very pretty, but using 2 needles seems confusing to me. Hoping I can figure out how to accomplish this lovely design easier with a single needle. I too like the wire guard at the leaf top. Now I have yet another project to try with my new Superduos I just got.

Ive tried making these earrings and they don’t come out even because of this, can you please tell me what you did to go from 8 beads to 9?

      Follow this tutorial until you get the width you want, then instead of adding to the edge, go back through the top of the bead and then add one. That way you will reduce down each row until you are back to one.

  • @lindavergara5469
    @lindavergara5469 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    If you look at minute 15.45 and follow it from there, you start out with having eight beads on the right side and then all of a sudden there are nine without adding any that’s why it keeps throwing everyone off

    I'm trying these earrings and I guess the tutorial is not right. At 15: 11min, the beads are eight. Later, the cut and the end beads are nine. That's why I was surprised that the whole number of beads did not have my right number of beads after wearing the whole earrings. But I think they can be with eight end beads. Just a little bit.

    This video frustrated me beyond belief. Around the 15:50-56 marker there’s a blip in the video and a step is skipped- the number of rows jumps one and that is not shown - I suddenly had 8 rows and the video showed 9 - it took me forever to figure out I wasn’t going crazy…other than that this instruction was great, if the step has not been omitted it would have gone much better

      the trick is that there the needle not goes back straight along like before, but switch into the upper hole from the second mini duo to come a row up. Look at 15.43 , there is a kind of step up. It is not extra said, but you can see it. (I have to look for it three times, because I stumbled too at this place )
      But it is really nice explained and a good video which is slowly enough to follow each step. Thanks for it.
