Hey guys, don't worry at all. Just speak as you speak to your friends, no need of any fancy vocab. I prepared like I will speak good vocab n stuff, but during the test I panicked and just spoke normal English without any fancy vocab and even fumbled a lot. I also couldn't speak for 15 to 20 sec in part 2 due to lack of points. But still I managed to score 6.5. Just be confidential and speak as you generally speak to people.
Me also can't speak English more than 20 sec...so I suppose it's very complicated and very hard we can't do it...and I was regret. but you said your opinion...it's great now I think we deserve it...😇
Hi, The best way for you to maximize your score on #IELTS is to use our online IELTS materials. You can do that here with us at www.aehelp.com/fullcourse
Sometimes the ILETS questions are so complex and difficult. Especially, for those who don’t have the certain experience in something such as cultural heritage. If I were asked this question my mind would go into cognitive overload .
Exactly my issue, they always say that the questions are for the general public but most of the public dont volunteer anywhere or have met someone important to make them nervous etc😂 making up stories on the go messes everything up
Recently I gave my IELTS exam in dec 2022 and believe me without any prior preparation, and I manage to crack IELTS by just 3 days study only. My IELTS cumulative band is 7.5 (computer mode) Due to my other academics commitment, I didn't get much time for my preparation and had a semester and competitive exam also. So I started my IELTS preparation just 3 days before the exam. Having done my academics in English language really helps me to understand the logarithms of exam fast. Listening (7) - Before exam I was sure about that listening and reading is my strong hold. But during exam I missed 3 lines that carries the answer, so this is the reason i got 7 here. Please listen to carefully and don't try to recall answer in the middle of the voice, if you don't get any answer, move to next question, don't think in between as my two consecutive questions were missed thinking about the answers. Reading (8.5) - as this was my strong hold and time given is 60 mins for 3 comprehension, so just ratify your answer again n again. Try to question yourself that the selected answer is right or wrong. Writing (7) - As I'm a researcher so it's pretty easy for me to write about the topics. Main crust is about how you conceptualize and how to present it. In the 2nd part of writing, I wrote close to 400 words against the prescribed word limit (250-300), which really scares me till i got the result. Thinking If i could omit some lines, but 7 in writing is well accepted. Speaking (6.5) - here comes the main challenge, as a person whose first language is not english, this area is most difficult. I am good in speaking, my confidence is always high, i brought new ideas, also my accent is good, but the main problem is that i used to repeat some of the lines during the speaking, which really affects my flow. But during these 3 days i lay more stress in speaking and hence manage to get 6.5. I also believe that for someone who have taken their academics in English language, one or two week is more than enough for you to crack the IELTS. Anyway, I'm happy with my score as the requirements for application is 6.5, for which i have scored much better band.
I prepared for 1 week and got L-9, R-9, S-7.5, W-7.0 .....Thanks Adrian for your videos which helped me to surpass my target of 7778 in my first attempt.
