This is the craziest finish ever
Julestags no it isn’t you haven’t seen the men’s 1000 speed skating, last corner on last lap the guy in first falls and then 2nd,3rd crash into him and the guy in last takes the gold
Adam Howitt that was Steven Bradbury, even without that unbelievable moment he has such a story to tell
One of the most exciting sports in the Olympics. Unlike cross country skiing!😴😴😴
@@wickedgrafix there was a tie for gold in men’s 2x10 pursuit in 2002.
He is swedish not finish
Not sure why this was just recommended to me but alright
EXACTLY!
It's skiing world championships this year now
Me too...
++, in 2020.. Why?
who cares..its called recommended you know..dont need to click on it and watch
Barely any celebration from the winner. Thats true sportsmanship.
It's only semifinal 🤷♀️
@@owtena he did knock out the best guy in the competition
@@owtena Quarter-Final, it's in the title...
@@tnikoli40 the guy knocked himself out
@@tnikoli40 he didn't do anything to knock him out. The guy fell on his own.
I like how the Swiss totally didn't care.. sportsmanship level over 9k
Would you stop? It's a competition.
As I didn’t care I think he meant, that he won. The guy didn’t celebrate all crazy. Also it wasn’t even the final
It's a long story since the WW2...
@@franckdebank ignorance is truly bliss
yeah but that's also just Swedes.
This announcer sounds like the Formula E announcer
True! Had the exact same thought as soon as he started speaking.
Yes, same thought. And that's absolutely sad.
Is it the same announcer?
@@nickb7089 yes
Dude
I love this. Every race should end like this. I hope no one got hurt badly.
Every race should end with the obvious winner making a huge mistake, destroying second places chances, then the final winner feeling like he doesn’t deserve it?
No thanks
I think fhey meant every race should end with a tight photo finish

This photo finish is the best photo ever!
Ski cross in a nutshell
Even tough Norberg crashes you can see the skills these riders have. He almost recovered after losing balance mid air!! Anyone who has been in such a situation knows how much body control and skill that takes.
I would have spined around my self 3 times. It is crazy how he can fight the momentum mid air.
The swiss guy came through them like a boss 😎
2:14 kinda sad but also absolutely hilarious
Red guy's coach: just nail the jump and you got this.
Red guy: got it
This photo finish has the same energy as Lightning McQueen sticking his tongue out to cross the finish line.
Korotkov was going to finish in 2nd place anyway so theres no hard feeling
Exactly it was a justified results
He was reaching out like lightning McQueen sticking out his tongue ☠️☠️
The first guy should have made an 180 when balance was tilted like that to use the side momentum. Would have been epic!
Those skis are designed to go forward only. One would probably stop dead if trying to ski backwards
@@R_J lol no
I think it was more the wind drag on his skin tips
@@R_J Yea probably true
@@bob15479 Yes but whatever cause it was, it created a momentum that he could have used if he twisted his body in the opposite direction to make an 180. That too would probably have been a crash anyway but hey ho
OMG, has it really been 7 years since sochi. WOW time goes.
That's why you never give up until the race is over!!
👏👏👏👏👏
I was at the stadion at this moment. What was emotion!!!! I crying!! It was unreal guys!
I do not think you was there. Everybody can write that. Or can you explain, why you commantated the video 6 years after uploading?
@@TG-js7ku you just wish you were there. The crowd reaction was crazy!
Respect for giving it all. Great race great racers.
Imagine if this was for a medal lmao
For a chocolate medal
Gold medal in flonkerton
I'm glad the one that was going to finish in 2nd actually did finish in 2nd.
That course was insane!! Brilliant!!
Amazing. Reminiscent of Steven Bradbury in Salt Lake City 2002. :))
Ryan Mason STEEEVOOOOO
I had no idea that Jack Nicholls commentated skiing haha, I only know him from racing. Knew it was him when he said "penultimate corner"
Now I'm wondering how long is his resume.
Technically this is racing.
The most hilarious finish ever!
The result proved my life attitude: keep life balanced, and don't fall before hitting the finish line.
When I watched this moments, I was a child.
But I'll never forget this fantastic moments😂
当時リアルタイムで見てたけど、マジ凄すぎて笑った😂
watching this during the olympics 2022 hits different
I don’t know why, but I had to watch it.
Me Too 😏👍👍
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣
Такого я раньше не видел. )))
Crazy mans 🤩 super finish!))) with love from Russia ❤️💖🔥
What a fantastic skiing discipline
I like that Olympics photo
Руками залез,,красавчик!!!
I remember watching this live on tv, it was amazing, I was awake 'cause it was early morning here in North America
Cross is one of my favourite winter sports competitions
2020 January Recommended Anyone?
Yup
February
January 2021
Niederer bradburied it :D
Весёлые старты!!!!
Swiss man did not drink with Korotkovs’ company for sure
Hans down best moment in Sochi
My recommended videos sure are awsome
That would be heartbreaking
あったね〜このシーン 「勝負は時の運」名言だわ
0:21 "have you ever seen something like this?" Yes, Bradbury.
I remember this, was pretty cool to watch
Legendary !
incredible
Never lose hope
Наш красавчик- удержал 2 место )))
Сомневаюсь, что он знал в какой стороне света финиш, когда его удерживал)
@@Krushard это неважно, главное результат. К тому же он тянулся к линии так-то:)
awesome sport
These jumps have to be huge in person
To me, the ski cross and snowboard cross are such exciting sports to watch. It's like NASCAR on snow. Lots of crashes. People sliding across the finish line on their backsides. Way more entertaining than watching some snowboarder or skier doing all kinds of mid-air flips and twists (which happens so quickly, I can't follow) and having a bunch of judges tell me who did it best.
Also, it would be way cool to see a bobsleigh cross or luge cross. I know it would prolly be dangerous but the engineers can figure out a way around that. If auto racers can walk away from crashes at 350 km/h, bob-sledders should be able to do it too.
What is nascar?
Valen Krisantus american formula one but with regular looking cars
No doubt. The other snowboard events are boring and unwatchable to me.
Thank you
This will be a history race picture
Wild stuff!!
Egor Korotkov just holded his 2nd place even tho he fell.....he just went through...typical russians 🔥🔥🔥
I would've been crying 😫
I remember a lot of crashes in ski cross because the track was on the harder side for that discipline. The snowboard cross was great though
That's called Pulling a Bradbury 💪🏼🏆
Isn't this the same guy who commentates Formula E?
No Name I don’t watch that but it wouldn’t surprise me. A lot of basketball/football commentary people from the states do this. This is a really high honor tbh
No Name Yes
No Name pretty sure he also does gp2
I was thinking the same lol
Seems like it.
Maximum send on that last jump.
amazing!
Who's here near 2021!
2021 здесь
Wating for Justin .Y
Oh my word!
Wondering if your racket gets across first, while you’re still further back sliding, can be considered a win. 2:15
This is gold btw.
Bruh that guy just pokes him with his pole haha
Crazy skiing
exiting....
Woah!
Isn't that the commentator for Formual E at Jelles Marble Racing! O.o It must be! It's exactly his voice!!!
Very cool 👍
How did everyone get this recommend a year ago and me now wdymmm
Nice metaphor for life
Thanks to the algorithm, didn't know this discipline existed.
That was a course! Much better than beijing 2022
Super
I want to remind you that ScreenVariety has it in their price.
crazy fast :-)
If this was the finish for gold and they wrote it in a movie. You’d be laughing at how ridiculous it was.
LOL
Crazy
Niederer does his squats fur shure.
Is it just me or does the commentator sound like the formula e one?
It's definitely Jack Nichols.
Hello from 2021
Epic!
I just literally saw something exactly like it
Korotkov if I don't mistaken it's the last name of the doctor that undentified the sound of beating heart (korotkov sounds) using device called stathoscope at the brachial arthery.
Niederer is the Ski Cross Steven Bradbury
Ski cross is mad
Wipe outttttttt!!!
Ke loko!
Holy
I don't know why but watching their bodies try to stay balanced when they go off the jumps makes me laugh, like the one guy that was in first that crashed was nearly crashing on all the small jumps hahahaaa
Crazy yt recommending me this, anyway it was funny 😄
this is on paar with the australia skating gold
It looked like the middle guy’s ski pole was ahead of the left hand of the other guy, but then it pole paused just before the line....so close!
