OMG, you must have heard me baging for a video. I just bought the pattern on Saturday, bought some wool and got started. I stopped counting how often I had to frog the short rows. Couldn't get my head around it... I'm really bad with written instructions. Thank u so much! Now I can restart tomorrow and hopefully my jumper is ready for Christmas

Thank you for this video I am a visual learner and I have also been search for this exact pattern and stitch!!!!! I am so grateful for it and you and this video.......but the back part has got me confused but I haven't started anything yet just watching and re-watching. I will 100% reach out to you for support because I want to learn this technique and get good at it. Maybe a whole sweater video would be lovely or part two like I said I am a visual learner. Thank you again ♥♥ from Alberta Canada. I have subscribed!!!

I would suggest to take the instructions slowly and one by one. After each step, reassess and continue!

Thank you this is very helpful! I recently bought the pattern and a really pretty yarn for it but the short rows were a little overwhelming so I hadn't started yet! Thank you!

Im grateful for your video, it was helpful in the beginning, as I've never worked a pattern with short rows before, but as you worked, the body of your crochet make moved upwards OFF camera, your talking & pointing to stitches we can't see, so u had to start guessing, where to put stitches, I hope they in the right places, cuz I've working for several days just to understand all your directions, next time maybe label the markers, & refer to them, cuz' the most helpful thing you said was to work to the 2nd marker, with a region inc, & into 2 more stitches, then turn back!! Again, thank you for a beautiful make, I hope I can do your design justice! 😜

Finally understood this bit. Now 😭The yoke increases, are we supposed to do 2 raglan increases on each marker and then on row 2, 4 times on each marker. I’m so sorry maybe this is the hardest crochet project I’ve ever tried to make

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but on every raglan inc you will inc 2 sts - so either make (ch1, sc1, ch1) or (sc1, ch1, sc1) in the same stitch. So if it says to inc, just do it once per marker, so 4 times in each inc row (once on each marker). Hope this helps. Don't overthink it. It really isn't that complicated.

@@NomadStitches "Repeat the previous Row until you have a total of (11) increases at each Raglan corner including the short row
raglan increases." Does it mean I have to make 11 rows?

Not exactly. If you would like pattern support, please feel free to email me. My email is at the end of every one of my patterns. Thanks

Regarding a previous persons question about the raglan inc. the pattern says "twice" on rows 3Aand 4A and it says "4 times" on row 2. What is that referring to?@@NomadStitches

In the pattern, under the specialty technique, you show a diagram for working in circles. Can you explain what the red dots and the vertical oval symbols represents? I am really struggling with joining the rounds of the short rows and any help will be really appreciated! Thank you!

    • @NomadStitches
      @NomadStitches  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi Anne. Of course I can help. So the ovals are all chains. The ones that are vertical represent the turning chains and DO NOT count as a st. The horizontal ovals represent the chains from linen stitch. The red dots show where the round is joined with a slst. So on one row, the first st of the row is a sc, so the slst will go on that sc. On the following row the first st of the row will be a ch, so the slst will go on that ch. I hope this helps.
And just fyi, I have a pattern support group on Facebook called Nomad Stitchers. There might be someone there to help you whenever I can't. Also, you have my email at the end of the pattern. Just in case that's more convenient.
      xx

    What for the sleeves then...?
    How will they start from?

Hi Uzma. The pattern includes information for where and ho to start the sleeves. If you have any pattern support questions, feel free to use the contact information at the end of the pattern. xx

The sleeves start in the openings left at the end of the yoke after the separation round. The pattern comes with detailed instructions.
